That Polar Express sighting is a pretty special welcome, especially for kids, so we’re thrilled your child got such a kick out of it. Being close to Bryson City while still feeling tucked away is one of our favorite parts of the spot too. Sounds like it was a memorable stay, and we really appreciate the recommendation. The AC is kept at 72 to help the system run properly and avoid unnecessary strain during Bryson City’s hotter summer weather, while the ceiling fans are there as an optional way to add airflow. Sleeping temperature can be pretty personal, and what feels comfortable for one guest may feel warm to another. Since this was only mentioned at checkout, we didn’t have the opportunity to troubleshoot the setup or offer any assistance we could during the stay. We still appreciate the note and will keep it in mind for future guests.
