About Sean Yule

My husband and I visited Apalachicola in June of 2013 and stayed at the loft; we have been searching for the quintessential Southern town – unspoiled by high-rise condos and chains – we found it in Apalach. We loved Apalach and the loft so much, we leapt at the chance to become the new owners and plan to continue to share the loft with visitors when we are not there.

The former owner is an artist and business woman who expertly renovated the space into the lovely loft you see pictured on the web site. With its exposed brick inside, expansive Cypress woodwork and airy high ceilings, the loft is a welcoming haven for visitors. It has the charm of downtown Apalach right outside its door, but also has privacy with an entry through a charming gated courtyard. Many restaurants and shops in the community have been featured in Southern Living, Coastal Living, and Wine Spectator. But what really sold us is the charm of the local residents. Nice people and genuinely kind with visitors.

Apalach is a walk-around-town with a collection of interesting and quaint shops. We’d be glad to share our favorites when you contact us. Our son will be helping to manage the web site, bookings and correspondences, so feel free to reach out to him and we will be glad to provide more information about both Apalachicola and the loft.

Why Sean Yule chose Florida Main North West

We were fortunate to have the opportunity to buy the loft when it went on the market shortly after we stayed there for a long weekend; we hope you will enjoy the charm that both the loft and Apalach offer. Enjoy -

Cute & Perfect

  • 5 of 5

My Husband and I were there for our 21st Anniversary. It was perfect. Great little loft. Super clean and bed was great and just super adorable place. We will be back. Absolutely loved it! Had so much fun hanging around town eating oysters and hanging out at the beaches for the weekend!

Very cute and comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

Yule Tide is in a perfect location for walking all around downtown Apalachicola. It's also a great spot for day trips for things like kayaking. The apartment had absolutely everything you could need for a vacation even down the cork screw for wine and baggies for packing a picnic. We loved our stay and will likely return in the future.

Potentially a "Five Star" property, but...

  • 3 of 5

Yule Tide is beautifully designed and appointed and lacks nothing in furnishings and utilities.

Ideally located for downtown shopping, historic walking tours and for excursions to St George Island and Cape San Blas. Smells from neighboring restaurant and day-long noise from service station next door detract from patio experience. If you visit during the rainy season, beware! The roof sometimes leaks.

Yule Tide is wonderful

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely property in an unexpected location--we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Apalachicola! Yule Tide is a comfortably furnished, well-appointed loft style apartment. Perfect location (yes, it is next to a gas station but that was not something that interfered with our enjoyment of the courtyard), perfect size, all the kitchen stuff we wanted, and a sizable bathroom. Also, the owner was quite solicitous about how we liked the accomodations--nice! We hope to go back this Fall!

Cozy and Convenient

  • 5 of 5

This is my third time staying at Yuletide. It is so convenient to all Apalachicola has to offer. You can walk to all the local restaurants, bars, shops in the downtown area easily. The drive to the beach at SGI is just a few minutes and beautiful. This loft is a treasure that most people don't know exist. The loft is always very clean and comfortable. There are some excellent restaurants in the downtown area. I highly recommend Yuletide!
