No se puede superar este valor. Acabo de regresar al mercado de alquiler ahora que mi familia está demasiado ocupada para visitar cada fin de semana. 1fish2fish es St. George en estado puro: todas las comodidades "reales" del hogar sin todos los gastos generales. Y no hay una 'maldita piscina': estás a 100 pasos de una de las mejores playas del mundo ... ¡nada en el Golfo! Coja su cena, cocínelos a la parrilla, tome una relajante ducha al aire libre, tome una copa al atardecer en la terraza o en la hamaca y luego cene a la luz de las velas en el porche de la pantalla.

Cuando esté adentro, disfrute de las dos habitaciones de colores brillantes, dos baños completos, pantalla plana con TV Mediacom en la sala de estar, cocina nueva en 2015 con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable que incluyen lavaplatos.

This house had plenty of room. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a nice size. The kitchen is well stocked and the furniture is quite comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini-vacation before Thanksgiving. The owner was extremely helpful and replied to any questions quickly. A great place to stay.

Great property. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and a nice frig with icemaker. Comfy furniture and nice dining areas inside and outside on deck. Great outdoor shower and very nice beach chairs for use. TV was nice with satellite service. Wifi worked great too. We'll happily return when we get a chance.

This was a last minute trip and ended being one of our favorites. Outstanding host and excellent accommodations for our family of four. We really enjoyed ourselves with quick access to the beach. Thanks for offering a wagon with floats and beach chairs which really came in handy. Everyone on the island was so friendly and inviting we didn't want to leave. We rented a golf cart which was so much fun and easy to get around the island. We will be back next year!!

Perfect Get Away

Perfect location! Loved that the beach was a short, easy walk from the property. Loved that there was a wagon available to take chairs, blanket, beach bag, cooler, etc to the beach. We brought our own chairs and sun shade, but loved seeing that chairs were available. We brought our bikes and it was an easy bike ride to the lighthouse and restaurants. House was clean and the bed was comfortable. Took us 2 days to discover the turquoise chairs reclined. Water pressure in the shower was decent compared with other places we've stayed on the island. Kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed! We loved 1Fish, 2 Fish and hope to return next year!!!

Very peaceful! The view of the ocean was awesome for not being on beach front!

Very peaceful location! Loved eating meals on screened porch. Hammocks gave us a great and cool resting place during our breaks from the sun! Booking was so easy and Chris was great to work with. Will definitely look into renting again in the future.

Great Affordable Stay on St. George Island

Overall, The house was great. This was our first visit to SGI in 20years and it remains a wonderful area! Neighborhood was quiet, with a nice limited view of the ocean. Convenient to stores, restaurants, and beach. Check-in was seamless. House was clean and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. The Cable system could use an instruction card, but we figured it out. The beach chairs, cooler and cart were a great addition. Screened and non-covered porches were super outdoor spots. The state-park style charcoal grill was a a nice touchOnly complaint was that by 2025 VRBO standards, we would have expected a bit of coffee(at least for the first day), shampoo or body wash, and clothes detergent. At the very least, mention that these things are not supplied, so one could bring them. Otherwise, would recommend. Thanks!

SGI Vacation

1 Fish 2 Fish was the perfect place to stay! It is very close to the beach, you can even see the ocean from the back porch. The house is in excellent condition and very clean! Chris was a great host! We will definitely be back in the future!

Great SGI find!

Had a great week at 1 Fish, 2 Fish! We felt like we had everything we needed, including easy access to the beach. The deck and screened in porch were highlights. Great communication with the owner! I would definitely rent again! Thank you for sharing your very special place with us! :)

Peaceful Rest

I have to give this property and its owner a five star rating. One Fish, Two Fish, was accurately described and perfectly decorated! The beach home was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, with the outdoor shower an added luxury! Communication with the owner was fast and most helpful. If possible, my boys and I will definitely be staying at the One Fish, Two Fish, again.

Winter Getaway

The property was everything good that we expected from the listing and had all we needed for the month we stayed (February 2024). It is a short walk to the beach, and has a nice gulf view from the deck, which is partially screened in (also a nice feature). The fishing cart and beach items were a hit! The host, Chris, was gracious and in contact with us periodically to make sure we had what we needed. All in all, a great stay!

Another fabulous experience!

This was my second time staying at 1 fish 2 fish and it was just as amazing as the first time! Chris is fantastic at communicating and accommodating all your needs! The house has everything you might need and more. My favorite part are the hammocks underneath the house! The house is so close to the beach you can hear the waves from the front deck. The house is also very convenient to shops and restaurants. I can’t wait to return! Thanks for all you do Chris!

Vacation stay.

Enjoyed our stay very much, even though it rained all week. House was very clean and well-stocked. The walk to the beach was not too far, but the grass was high that we had to walk through. Very grown up around the driveway, making it somewhat difficult to maneuver packing and unpacking the vehicle. Stairs could benefit with a handrail, especially for us older folks. Enjoyed the screened porch. We would enjoy visiting again in the future.

The accommodations were great!! The owner was soo nice!! It was just as advertised. Check in and out was very easy!! We will be back!! My wife and I celebrated our 50 th. Anniversary the week we stayed there and loved every day and hated to have to leave!! It was very clean!

Thought of Everything

This is a fantastic house with everything we needed and more. Exactly as advertised with extras that exceeded expectation. From the beach wagon and chairs provided, to the hammocks, kitchen appliances, and outdoor shower we were just thrilled to stay. Property manager is responsive and caring. As for the location, we had to walk and carry our toddler daughter to and from the sand many times a day depending on mood. ;) The distance to our tent on the sand was not an issue. Definitely recommend this vacation opportunity.

Great location

Our family loves SGI and visit often. We decided three weeks prior to plan a trip to try and find somewhere to stay at the last minute. I came across Chris’ property and to my surprise it was available. The location was prime with a very short walk to the beach. The closet was stocked with beach chairs and a wagon which made carting all of our stuff to the beach a breeze. We enjoyed our evenings on the screened porch and dinner in Apalachicola. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We had arrived in town a little earlier than the scheduled check in. I sent Chris a message and he was very quick to respond and we were able to check in early- a bonus after an 8 hour drive. Chris was a great host and this was a great house.

Peaceful and relaxing getaway!

Chris' property was exactly what we were looking for. We really needed some "down time" and this location and property provided that. It was perfect for just my husband and I as many of the properties in the area are much larger. Would have been fine for a family of 4/5 as well as there were two bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved that it was a stand alone house and not connected to other units. Very quiet area. Short walk to the beach with a wagon, chairs, etc for use. The outside shower was a big plus. The open air deck with views of the water was perfect and the screened in porch with a table allowed us to cook our own meals and enjoy the view while eating. (The Piggly Wiggly just down the street is small but had everything we needed at reasonable prices.) We loved our visit to SGI would definitely stay here again!

Great SGI Property

Very nice property with gulf views and just steps to the beach. Furnishings are simple, but work well in the house as it doesn’t feel cluttered. The kitchen was well equipped with plates, cups, cutlery, etc. - enough so that we only had to run the dishwasher twice the entire week. Beach chairs, toys and a cart are also available for use. The house is located less than a mile from shopping and is perfect for a couple or a small family (1 or 2 children). Owner was absolutely wonderful and really responsive! Chris gets a 10 for sure!!

We live and work in Tallahassee. We bought the house twenty years ago and have enjoyed weekends with our family at 1fish2fish for two decades. Not going as much as we once did due to school activities, etc. so we are hoping others can enjoy it when we are not there.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

When I moved to Tallahassee to go to FSU, St. George was the favorite beach destination with my crew of friends. My family soon took to it as well, staying on the island when they would come to visit. Later, as the island was expanding with massive three-story homes and swimming pools were popping up like crazy, this was my idea of what SGI should be ... a cottage on stilts with a great view of the ocean and not much too worry about breaking or cleaning.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

1fish2fish is across the street from the beach and on a 10+ mile bike path that spans much of the island. We are about one mile east of the bridge so just a ten minute walk, a five minute bike ride, or a 90 second drive to the restaurants, oyster bars, ice cream parlors, grocery stores, and shops.
