Conheça o Prince Royal! Localização e luxo são o que pensamos quando vemos este lindo barco, localizado no famoso Prinsengracht, perto da casa de Anne Frank. É uma residência flutuante elegante e confortável no centro da área de Jordaan. Decorado com bom gosto e atenção por um designer de interiores profissional. O Prince Royal é o local ideal para uma experiência náutica única no centro de Amsterdã. Você tem uma visão direta do Prinsengracht e do marco Westerchurch. A sala de estar é luminosa e brilhante, espaçosa, confortável e leve. O característico piso de madeira, combinado com o mobiliário de design, confere a esta área uma identidade própria de luxo. Existem 2 quartos característicos e 2 casas de banho completas na parte de trás e na frente do navio. Os quartos são um pouco mais baixos, mas isso faz parte da história e do charme desta casa flutuante. Ambos os quartos têm duas grandes camas de casal com dois colchões separados um ao lado do outro (160 cm e 180 cm x 200 cm), ambos com TV de tela plana. Romântico e confortável!

Ambos os banheiros têm um radiador de toalhas e sob o piso aquecido. As casas de banho luminosas e brilhantes oferecem uma pia e chuveiro modernos. Lençóis e toalhas são fornecidas.

O deck externo

No ponto externo deste antigo navio de carga há um agradável terraço com uma vista única ao longo do canal. Você encontrará um adorável terraço amplo, com cadeiras, almofadas e plantas. Como é inverno, ainda não conseguimos tirar fotos, temos que esperar até a primavera. Cisnes brancos passarão junto com os barcos do canal. Do outro lado do canal, você vê a casa de Anne Frank e a famosa Westerchurch. Um vídeo foi feito dos arredores no ano passado: você está no meio da histórica Amsterdã, mas devido à água e às impressionantes casas históricas do canal ao seu redor, a atmosfera é relaxada e pacífica.

A casa do leme, no entanto, oferece a você a melhor e mais exclusiva possibilidade de apreciar a paisagem espetacular deste barco. A casa do leme é acessível por dentro e é mais alta que o resto do barco. Excellent stay! Don’t hesitate to book here - it was one of the best parts of our trip to Amsterdam. Two bedrooms and two bathes worked perfect. The end room did have a low ceiling, but it was fine. Host was super helpful with each and every question we had. De Reiger restaurant was a short walk and had excellent food and a wonderful vibe. Get a reservation ahead. If you’re there on a Monday, go to the local market up the way for almost everything you can imagine, including tiny pancakes.

What a fun and different way to experience life along the canal in this part of the city. The houseboat was very comfortable however, if you have a bad back or are uncomfortable with stairs, this would not be appropriate. Both rooms have lower ceilings. We were completely comfortable with the beds and sitting area. We took advantage of the upper deck and enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings and watching the boats go by. The houseboat was very clean and and the location was ideal. Great communication with the owner.

Amazing Location and Unique Experience!

When planning our trip to Amsterdam, I saw this wonderful canal boat as an option and was so pleased with the outcome. We had an amazing stay on the canal boat from the ease of check in to the cleanliness of the place to the comfort of the beds. Sadly, our flight was delayed by a day so we missed an entire day of our stay, but while we were there we enjoyed the comfort and convenience that this boat had to offer. We had tickets to the Ann Frank museum and the canal boat is literally across the canal from it. It is truly in the heart of everything and extremely walkable to restaurants and sights. Our host was very accessible and provided great recommendations to restaurants. When booking, one must remember that this is a canal boat. One of the bedrooms ceiling height is only 4 feet; however, we put our teenage kids in there and we took the other bedroom with normal ceiling height. The beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and decent size. Not what I would have expected on a boat. I can't recommend this boat enough for anyone looking to stay in the heart of Amsterdam.

Location, location, location & Comfort too!

Two 65 couples for four nights. We found the location to be perfect for sightseeing and dining. The houseboat is anchored directly across the canal from the Anne Frank house and museum. There is a nice market close by for essentials, although our hostess provided a nice bottle of vino and some coffee to get us started. Bedding was great and beds comfy. The bathrooms were very clean and functioned well. The kitchen and living area was lovely and a great place to relax between outings. There is a charming converted wheelhouse reached by a wide ladder where we took our wine and cheese up every afternoon. It was fun to watch all the boat traffic on the canal as people cued up to enter the museum. There was a helpful guide to restaurants only 5 to 10 mins away. We loved Cocina Mexicana Rosario!

Amazing!

This house boat is awesome! One note would that the ceilings in the bedrooms were lower than expected.. however once you got used to it, it added to the charm of staying on a house boat in the heart of Amsterdam. Host was more than communicative.

Wonderful houseboat and unbeatable location

A wonderful houseboat for two couples or even a large family with children. Unbeatable location directly across from the Anne Frank House. Very clean and well-appointed with all of the amenities that anyone would need (except for a microwave).

We loved our 3 day stay on the Prince Royal houseboat in Amsterdam. Rachell was an awesome host. Superb location near all major sights all within walking range. Just don’t get hit by a bicycle!

A fine perch

One of my all-time favorite locations to simply sit and watch citizens from all about the world converge in happiness and common purpose - and all from the uniquecomfort of your own house (boat). Couldn't recommend more.mix it up a little bit more when they travel

Fantastic Experience on the Princess

This was the highlight of our trip so far around the UK and Europe. The house boat was amazing, well equipped, walkable to everything, had comfortable beds, great kitchen and bathrooms, and near fabulous code! Perfect start did our family of four.

Best location, and on a boat!

Rachell was a great hostess. Met us at the boat early and made us feel quite at home. The boat is beautifully appointed, and we lacked for very little. It is almost directly across from the Anne Frank house (get your tickets before you arrive!), and we had a great time watching the tour boats and bicycles go by. The weather was "adventurous". Snow our first day, hail our second day, thunderstorm our 3rd night + sideways wind. But still a wonderful time and a beautiful city. The beds were super comfy (especially in the forward cabin). We accidentally slept in a couple of times, the beds were so cozy. Wish we could have used the captain's room to hang out a bit more, but the cold weather was a bit too much for that space. Highly recommend this place. It was walkable to almost everything, and in a gorgeous neighborhood with lots of restaurant and pub options, with a grocery store about a 5-7 min walk away. Ceilings in the rooms are low - so mind your head! We eventually got used to it, and it wasn't much of a bother. If we find our way back to Amsterdam, we would definitely look into booking here again.

This is the exact experience I envisioned when searching for a boathouse in Amsterdam. Charming, clean, super comfortable. The host was so kind and helpful. Great location and so fun. What a gem!

The Prince Royal is a fabulous property that combines the privacy of a very old house boat with the most modern interior details, provisions and amenities. The location is immediately close to everything and Chamelli aims to please as a warm host!

Amsterdam boathouse magic

The boathouse is very comfortable, clean and spacious. The bedrooms have very low ceilings so if you are tall, this may be an issue for you. The location of the boathouse is fantastic and we enjoyed afternoons sitting on the deck and watching the world go by.

Es gilt 2. besondere Punkte zu beachten: Niedrige Decken in den Schlafzimmern und eine schwierige Parksituation für den PKW ---und der gesamte Rest war für uns dann wirklich klasse, inmitten des pulsierenden Amsterdam, vorbeiflitzende Fahrräder auf der einen Seite zur Straße und eine Parade von Booten auf der Prinsengracht bei perfektem Sommerwetter. Die Unterkunft war wirklich super dafür.

Perfect Amsterdam Vacation Stay

The boat is perfectly located in the Jordaan with both indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the view along the canal. The boat was clean and had everything we needed. The beds and sitting area were very comfortable. The hosts were very communicative leading up to the stay and check in was a breeze. Our family of four couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our time in Amsterdam. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Fellow traveler's two scents

The boat is amazing and styled impeccably, a clean canvas allowing voyagers the opportunity to fill their experiences with the colors of the city. Each room is special, providing exactly what you need. The captain's room where you can close the world off or let the world in but you can always hear and see the blur and heart of the city around you. The front deck allows you to literally greet the world as people from allover the little blue marble float by for a minute or two. Each living their own Adventure. Inside, you physically enter backwards leaving the stress at the door. The heart of the ship is open and inviting, a blank canvas for you to decorate with all the things the city and life have to offer. From bottles of wine to greasy takeaway boxes the place is what you make it. I recommend taking photos at the beginning but also take a few during the stay. A cheese board, good bread and a peach can be the most important still life you'll ever see and will mean the world when you look back at the image and remember the time, the people and most importantly the bread! Each bedroom is a cocoon, the pillow fort from your childhood that you sometimes forget but bang your head just once and you'll literally feel like a little kid again crawling around, and hopefully over, your fellow travelers. I left an Adventure Starter Pack consisting of an old back pack, umbrella, and a maroon corduroy blazer and vest to help start your story off right. Safe travels, Brewster

Perfect place to meet up with friends

We stayed on board the Prince Royal with friends. We all enjoyed separate space (2 separate bedroom/bathroom spaces) but a large living room and kitchen to share some good times. Although our weather was a little cooler than we had planned, we also enjoyed the deck area.

Awesome location and facility!

We loved this stay! Such a fun and vibrant location! The houseboat was immaculate and had everything we needed. The “Captain’s Nest” was an unexpected bonus and we used it daily. So fun to watch the crowds waiting for their boat tours and the other various boats go by. Very comfortable beds, too.
