About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Tons of room and ideal location

  • 5 of 5

We had five families staying here, some with kids most without, but there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and never feel crowded. We thought that there were five bedrooms and the downstairs was the sixth room and were pleasantly surprised to discover that there were actually six bedrooms plus the huge downstairs area. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were more than enough towels and bedding for everyone. The fireplace warms the place up very effectively and we loved the huge area to sit at. I loved that we could see the lights and fun from the cosmic tubing at skibowl and loved that we were on sort of a dead end for the kids to play in the snow. There is more than enough parking and the garage and extra refrigerator and freezer in the garage were a bonus too. Very big place, great location, very comfy and cozy. We wish we could have stayed longer.

I'd stay here again

  • 4 of 5

The house itself was spacious and clean when we arrived however there was a smell in the house that we couldn't get rid of and some of the upstairs bedding and towels smelled like they had not been washed in a while. Other than that everything was great. House was conveniently located near everything. The house was warm and all of the appliances worked great. I'd stay here again but next time I plan on bringing candles and air fresheners to make the house smell better. Vacasa had great communication before, during and after our stay.

Great House for a large Group

  • 5 of 5

We loved the location and proximity to town. We also appreciated the spaciousness of the house - huge windows offered great lighting. The house felt clean and tidy but lived in - in a good way. Very comfortable. for all of us. The dining room table fit 12 around it and it was a good spot for card games, etc... . There was a TV entertainment area on each of 3 floors. We recommend this house for people with large groups - and kids

It was a good rental. It was large enough for our needs.

Great location - we camp for the skibowl activities specifically.

I would recommend some minor repairs:

Basement toilet constantly runs,

The blinds in the dining area no longer stay up and are missing the tiedowns,

Main floor toilet, the toilet paper holder is loose and in an awkward position,

Burnt out light bulbs,

Control for the ceiling fans.

Loved the fireplace, the spaciousness and the location.
