Easy as 1,2,3!

My daughter and I booked last minute to stay in Miami area before our cruise. We had a few requirements for our rental home. Mostly, we wanted a large pool and a jacuzzi tub. Mirka has done wonders with her home. The rooms are well decorated in a Tuscan/Mediterranean design which is very warm and inviting. The beds are Tempur-pedic which is what I am used to at home. I slept better at Mirka's home than my own. Each room has a large smart TV. We spent most of our time in the pool except for movie time in the master bedroom. After we returned home from the 2 week vacation (rental home and cruise), we decided that we would have preferred to stay in Mirka's house the entire 2 weeks rather than going on the cruise. Great things about home: -Easy to get to from MIA or FLL airport. -Safe entrance and exit -Large deep pool with plenty of room for everyone -Comfortable bedding -Beautiful view of intercostal waterway -Decorated well with high end furniture and bedding -Mirka is easy to get in touch with by phone, text, or app Things I would want different: -Jacuzzi tub jets are dirty and it does not work (or at least we couldn't figure out how to turn it on and off) -AC locks out at 70-72 degrees -Deck is worn out in places so be careful where you step. I ended up with a wood sliver. -Floors can be slippery if wet (tile) so more rugs would be nice. Overall, this vacation was amazing at Mirka's home. The setting was perfect. There is a Publix grocery store less than 1 mile away. Mirka also left us a personalized card with two welcoming gifts. We would stay here again! C

Beautiful home in a great location

The home was beautiful! We enjoyed fishing in the backyard and swimming in the pool. We grilled one evening (propane tank ran out so we couldn't grill for the next days). The home was close to several beaches and fort Lauderdale. We really enjoyed this home and would love to stay here again!

Great house for rental

House was comfortable and clean. Plenty of room. Outdoor space was great - ate outside every night. Kids loved the pool and you can catch fish right from dock/sea wall. Highly recommended.

Great vacation!

It was roomy and clean. Nice outdoor area to relax and read, swim,eat or play games.

The house was a great fit for our family. There was plenty of room for relaxing and playing games indoors and out on the patio! We enjoyed our stay!

Great property and easy access to highways and beaches!

The House was beautiful and the back yard with the pool and canal was a great hang out for us. Beds were super comfy and the TV system kept us all entertained. Mirka was very accommodating although we kept missing each other and we never did end up meeting in person, so I didn’t get to say thanks for the welcoming gifts of wine and chocolates. Thanks Mirka!

What a beautiful home

What a beautiful home to relax with great waterfront access!!! The owner Mirka were lovely, easy to deal with and very accommodating. We rent the boat for a couple days and enjoyed the boating. We enjoy to come back to house and relax in at the end of busy sight seeing days. The house layout was perfect for us. I would recommend this home to anyone interested in staying in the area.

Great spot!

This property was the perfect location and set-up for our group. It was close to the airport and the pool offered a welcome retreat from the Lauderdale heat. Mirka was very quick to communicate any details and answer questions. Thank you!

Delightful stay

We had a delightful stay ... When we arrived At the Pompano’s home the light was on out front, air condition on… which gave us a great welcoming feel. The pool area was so inviting and relaxing from the sound of the water.... I am looking forward with family to my next stay with one of your homes, when visiting Fort Lauderdale area….. Excellent!!

We had a wonderful time! Mirka was excellent to work with. The house was amazing. We had four couples and the house worked out perfectly for all of us. The patio and pool were amazing. We spent most of our time outside and were not disappointed. We had an issue with one of the TV's and Mirka was going to bring us a new one the next day. We found the problem and got it fixed, but we were impressed with her fast response. It was a short drive to the beach. I asked for a late check out due to our flight time and she responded within minutes that we could have one. Will definitely rent again if we are back that way. Thank you for everything!!

Well appointed, nice location, needs some work

The house is in a great location, close to shopping, beaches and restaurants. It was also well appointed and as shown in the pictures; however, quite a few things need replacing and/or updating: Mattresses - all the mattresses need to be replaced. It was like sleeping on Styrofoam. One move and the bed would make a horrible noise. My husband slept on the couch every night and it was a complete deal-breaker for him. Cable - this house does NOT have traditional cable. No sports, no national news, no movies. It has digital local channels. Deal-breaker when your team is in the NCAA final game. Deck - needs to be replaced. Many of the boards are coming up as they are not nailed down or are sagging. Three of us got splinters from it. Pool cleaning device - needs to be replaced. It fell apart too many times to count. Luckily my husband is handy and fixed it each time. It only reaches one-third of the pool and the pool was quite dirty. I alerted the property manager and it was not fixed. We were instructed to use the cleaning net.

Great time was had by all.

The house was in very good condition and the outdoor area was wonderful. Being on the water was very nice, and we essentially were in the backyard the whole time. The kitchen had the right assortment of equipment to allow for daily cooking, which is not always found in other places. The neighborhood was very nice, and private. Easy access to the Pompano beach (under 8mins, and an easy drive). Overall, we had a great time. Mirka was easy to work with, and the welcome wine and chocolates were a great touch. Worth it.

Overall the property was beautiful and the owner was great to work with

The house had a perfect lay out. It was clean and every room had updated necessities. The owner was great to work with. She promptly answered questions and was flexible with the check in and check out. The only one improvement I would suggest is different mattresses for the bedrooms.

A Great Getaway

We were here for a little business and a little pleasure. The home is laid out well and Mirka was fantastic to deal with. Stepping outside was the best with the pool and the canals behind the house. Will definitely be back soon.

This house was amazing! Perfect Getaway.

This is my first time using Home Away. The reason for my visit was for my graduation. I wanted a home that would accommodate my family while providing a relaxing atmosphere. This house provided that and more! The house was clean and remodeled to perfection. My family was able to choose from fishing or swimming directly from the backyard. I would highly recommend this property.

Recommended Place to Stay In

The house was perfect from pool to kitchen. A quick drive to anywhere, less than a 1/2 mile from Publix Grocery and shopping plaza. Close to new wonderful beaches. Fully equipped kitchen, nothing we use wasn’t missing. I really enjoyed my stay with my family everything was clean and breath taking it felt like my own home.

Awesome vacation house.

This house was amazing. Plenty of space for family of 8, beautiful pool in the back, waterfront and very convenient location, close to shopping , restaurants, beach. Spacious kitchen with everything you need , plenty of towels, quiet neighborhood. Owners are easy to reach if you need something. Overall great stay, we would happily visit again.

The house is worth it ................

My Husband, I and my sister spent 10 days in Pompano Beach. This was a home not just vacation home to us even for the 10 days after cruise. It had great large kitchen,dining room and living room (all one room). Plenty of storage for personal items. Beautiful and very private patio at the back of the house with pool and waterfront access. Also had a washer and dryer. We never heard anything once we were in the house, nice neighborhood. We arrived into Fort Lauderdale on cruise and drove few miles to Pompano Beach to this house and it was worth it! Everything what we wanted to visit has been close by shopping malls, beach, restaurants etc. We made right decision to stay here, seeing to come in a while. Thanks!

Wonderful stay in Florida

I can't tell you how much we loved our vacation in the Pompano Beach home. Everything was exactly as shown on the internet. I was a little sceptical about renting a home because I have never done that before but we could not have been more pleased. Mirka, the owner have stayed in close contact with me throughout the rental process guiding me, how to exactly make the reservation step by step. When I arrived and contacted her, she was very helpful, I just wanted to make sure how things work in the house. We come to Florida almost every year and we will contact her again, when we come back because none of us want a hotel anymore after staying in this four bedroom home, we finally had SPACE. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation.

Enjoyed Staying in Pompano Beach

Me, my wife and two childrens enjoyed staying in the Pompano Beach. We were so lucky to book this beautiful, clean, waterfront house to stay in. My kids were most of the time in the pool, so did I. ;))) Overall we enjoyed our vacation over there along with nice beaches. We would highly recommend this nice house to everyone, I already did recommend to my friends and book our vacation at this place for next summer. Lot of thanks to owner Mirka ! Amanda's Family
