Great Rental - Close to ASU

The house is conveniently located to ASU and is equipped with everything you need for a great stay. There is a beautiful pool with floats and lovely outdoor area to sit and relax. Hosts are amazing. Highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our time here. The residence is attractive and supplied with everything you need. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood but close to some good restaurants as well as ASU and good hiking

Great host and location

The ‘pool house’ was a good property and stay for my family for a few days while touring Phoenix. Host is very helpful and has the home stocked with most things you may need both inside & around the pool. excellent location close to ASU. Home is dated as built in the 1960s but certainly has been updated in last 20+ years

Great House Very Comfortable

My family stayed here as we go my niece moved into her dorm at GC university. Shirley is an amazing host and the house is very clean, very comfortable, and everything you need and more is there! We will be staying here for future college visits. Thanks again for your beautiful home.

Convenient to Phoenix and suburbs. Clean home. Refreshing pool. Good beds. Everything you need in the kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly hosts. No complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect as usual

Comfort and Relaxation!

This is our second stay at a 'Pete & Shirley' property and it was as fantastic as the first! This is a very spacious home with every amenity possible. It's clean and well stocked. We were traveling with our two teenage sons, one who was moving into his apartment at ASU so having three bedrooms gave our boys their own space and I loved having a stocked kitchen (and BBQ) to cook him his "last" mom-cooked favorites before starting his university bachelor life. We loved the proximity to campus and Mill Avenue, very convenient and easy to find everything. Having the pool and outside eating areas were very luxurious. Even when it's 110 degrees out, taking a dip in the pool was still refreshing after a day of moving in and running around in the heat. We will be back in the future and appreciate the friendliness and warmth Pete and Shirley offer their guests.

Wonderful stay

Nice and clean house with heated pool. I have never stayed in a VRBO that had so many towels, pool floats, bikes etc. that you could use. They have thought of everything. Owners were also so organized and easy to get a hold of. If we return to AZ we will stay here again!

We LOVE the Pool House!

The Pool House is fantastic! Excellent location, within walking distance to ASU and a ton of restaurants. The home is very clean and has all the amenities! The hosts are responsive, kind and helpful. We've stayed here at least four times and we'll be back, for sure!

Great spot, and walking distance to Mill Ave

We were down just after Christmas for HS basketball tournament. This place was just as described and owners very responsive and way over top to welcome us. Little gift on counter as we arrived. Even heated the pool for us before we got there. Bedrooms were nice, everything clean. No fan in the master bathroom but not only issue there is a small window. The mattresses same firm but it's the memory foam and were so great. We did not use the third bedroom which is a Murphy bag but it was clean looked good. Pool has deep end which is nice. Outdoor area is really cool with the little bar table and two TVs, and they have cable hooked up to each one. I personally travel for work a lot and bring my own Roku so I have my own settings and I was able to use that on one of the TVs that didn't get the channels we wanted. But for the Christmas break and all the bowl games and basketball and movies it was great to sit outside. Also so nice that just to 0.6 mi walk to Mill avenue and restaurants and everything else. Definitely going to look into this place again March 2025

Always fantastic!

We love this house and the hosts! We've stayed here several times over the last 4 yer while our daughter attended ASU. It's super close to campus and has everything you would ever need from spices to bikes to coolers. Being from the PNW we always enjoy the heated pool.

Pool Time

Well maintained, updated and stocked property. Very clean home, good location about 10 minutes from airport. Heated clean pool was our main attraction for 10 yo granddaughter. Plenty of pool toys/lounges/beach towels. Patio and pool well maintained, lots of seating. Communication initiated by host prior to arrival was very helpful.

Home away from home

We felt right at home! The host is easily accessible and responsive. The home has everything we needed and more, pool is amazing and was our sons favorite part Our trip to the Grand Canyon was smooth because the home was equipped with handy items. We now have a reason to come back to to Phoenix!! Thank you Shirley!!

Pete and Shirley are retired high school teachers. Shirley's first house, which she bought in 1985, is 3 doors from this property. Pete and Shirley have very much enjoyed renting their other property as a vacation rental since 2009 and, as a result, they purchased this property when it became available in 2011.

It is fun to live in this neighborhood. It is quiet but close to a lot of activity. ASU students as well as home-owners live throughout, making the neighborhood upbeat and lively. Pete and Shirley have lived in the area since 1985.

The house is conveniently located to ASU and the numerous activities that occur there. You can always find something to do within minutes. A dog park is located at the end of the street so it is entertaining to just sit in the front yard, watching the neighbors walking to the park each night.
