La Terraza, terrasse privée au coeur de la vieille ville

Ceci est un appartement entiÚrement rénové, confortable et trÚs lumineux d'une chambre / une salle de bain dans une rue calme du vieux San Juan. Parfait pour deux personnes (max. 3). C'est au deuxiÚme étage d'une maison coloniale de deux étages. De hauts plafonds. Il a un lit queen dans la chambre. Il a un / c dans la chambre et le salon, et WiFi. Cuisine ouverte entiÚrement équipée avec cuisiniÚre à gaz, cafetiÚre, four grille-pain, micro-ondes et réfrigérateur. La chambre s'ouvre sur une grande terrasse calme et trÚs privée avec un mobilier confortable pour se détendre et une table. La maison a été entiÚrement rénovée en respectant son style colonial. Vous pouvez facilement marcher dans tout le vieux San Juan et dßner dans les restaurants les plus renommés, visiter les forts et admirer les vues les plus spectaculaires sur la baie de San Juan et l'océan Atlantique. Les «places» animées sont à un ou deux pùtés de maisons. Il est à un pùté de maisons de l'Ocean Walk et du restaurant El Jibarito et à distance de marche de tout ce que le vieux San Juan a à offrir. Old San Juan est proche de la plage d'Escambron, de Condado et de Miramar!

La terrasse est un endroit calme pour se détendre et méditer. Nous demandons à nos clients de respecter nos voisins et d'éviter la musique et les conversations bruyantes dans ce domaine.

The apartment was absolutely wonderful. A block away from everything you need - bars, restaurants, shops, sites. Felt very safe there and the terrace was a great bonus. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Very cute and quaint apartment in a perfect location. It was far enough from the nightlife so you could get a good night sleep, but just around the corner was the heart of Old San Juan. Walking distance to everything. Not much water pressure in the shower, but definitely not a deal breaker for us. Host was very responsive, bed was comfortable, and the A/c worked great. Would definitely stay again.

Old San Juan trip

Loved this spot! It was a little oasis in the middle of Old San Juan. The terrace was a gem to sit out on in the morning and drink my tea before heading out. Lourdes was in touch several times to make sure I had what I needed. It was a great stay.

We stayed just after the power came back on. The apartment is located in a safe place, close to everything, and is quiet! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone visiting Old San Juan.

My husband and I came for a quick birthday trip. Lourdes met us at the door with a warm welcome. She had gone up ahead of arrival and turned on the air to make sure the space was comfortable. Location was perfect for walking everywhere and away from the loud night crowds. More restaurants to choose from then one could ever visit. Caficultura was our first stop every day for coffee and breakfast. We had a rental car, for day trips, that we parked at Dona Fela, maybe a 5 minute walk down the hill. Easy in and out parking and quick to get out of the city. We were excited to see the castles open, even with the government shutdown. The only hiccup was that San Juan lost all the city water the day before we arrived and some sections finally got it back the night before we left. Public Restrooms were hard to come by and everything was served on disposables since no one could wash dishes. We bought a case of water at the local Walgreens for drinking and brushing teeth. Thankfully this apartment has a water cistern so we still had running water and all the plumbing worked, we just had to be conscientious to take quick showers. Overall the locals were upbeat and ultimately it wasn’t too inconvenient for us. Great trip, great apartment, great location.

Your own personal Oasis in Old San Juan

Stayed here on a business trip but wanted to experience Old San Juan. This home is on a perfect street that is just far enough away from the bar crowd that it stays nice and quiet, but close enough to the action that you can just walk a few blocks and you're in the mix of things. The apartment is well appointed and kept very clean. There is strong 100 MB Wi-Fi as well as a solid 5G cell reception, at least from Verizon. A big storm came through while I was there and it knocked out power to part of Old San Juan, which in turn caused the water to be turned off. Lourdes, the host, was very receptive and even sent over a plumber to see if there's anything they could do on the location but it was a city-wide issue. Luckily the water restored in a few hours so wasn't a big deal. I received a message from Lourdes that the water was back on before I even noticed it had returned. Great communication. The back patio is wonderful and a Great escape. Air conditioning works extremely well. It was almost too cold in the middle of the day when the temperature was the hottest outside. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering.

San Cristobal in Old San Juan

The apartment has everything we (wife and I) needed and more. It is in a great location with easy access to all that Old San Juan has to offer. I really liked the floor plan of the apartment and we enjoyed having a Medalla on the deck in the late afternoon. Having the sleeping compartment to the rear of the apartment made for a restful/peaceful night’s sleep. Very few city noises – though I may have been too tired to have heard them. The owner’s attention to detail is to be applauded. I especially liked that they have installed solar panels and a backup battery system to provide continuous power in the event of a blackout. All air conditioning, fans and water systems worked great which led to a very comfortable stay. If you enjoy a good breakfast don’t miss La Carretta. Note: if you must rent a car, make it a small one.

Beautifully lit with natural light and many windows. Terrace is just lovely and a wonderful place for breakfast. Landlady, Lourdes, is kind, informative and lovely. I did find the many levels of floor difficult to deal with in terms of safety and a good bedside lamp would be very helpful. Also kitchen utensils need to be replenished. All in all, apartment in fantastic location and I would return in a flash.

Wonderful place for 2 to stay!

We loved this place! Lourdes was very friendly and accommodating, providing plenty of fantastic local recommendations and tips. The apartment is clean, small, and exquisitely decorated, and the balcony! So wonderful! Would definitely recommend this place to a couple.

Overall the property and the location were amazing. The only negative feedback I have is in regards to the parking situation. Please be mindful, if you're planning to rent a car, you won’t be able to park around the property. The closest parking garage is 10 minutes away walking.

Quaint condo. Very comfortable~

Old San Juan is wonderful. This condo is in the heart of it all and walking distance to shops, restaurants and etc. AC units work very well. The back patio is very nice to sit out on in the evenings. The kitchen is small and there are limited utensils/cookware if you plan to cook. There was no coffee maker so we bought an inexpensive one and left it there - you're welcome. :) All in all it was a nice comfortable place to stay and explore Old San Juan. We would definitely rent this condo again. *A few things to note: - If you plan to rent a car, there is no parking at the condo. You will need to park at a parking garage, which is 4-5 blocks away. We parked at Dona Fela parking garage and it was inexpensive. We rented a car so we could do day-trips to other parts of Puerto Rico - Luquillo, the rain forest and etc. - Uber only operates in San Juan. They do not operate anywhere else (including the airport) on the island so you will need a taxi. There is a taxi stand about three blocks from the condo.

Great Apartment

I loved staying in this apartment for the simple fact that it was near everything that we wanted to see. The apartment itself was very nice and quiet, and it had everything you needed while we were on vacation. The best feature was the patio which you could see Old San Juan at night. For our next trip to Puerto Rico we will rent this property again.

Beautiful, fun, perfect!

We had a great time staying in "La Terraza". The apt is charming cozy and super cool. The terrace is beautiful with lots of nature and sun! The location is perfect, Old San Juan is such a fun town, the night life is amazing and theres so much to do during the day. If you are staying in PR, this is the place to be.

We decided to retire in Old San Juan, by investing in this old colonial building with the idea to host travelers on our second floor. We love the old city lifestyle! You'll see the beauty and uniqueness of this place. San Juan has a vivid community, dense history and is walking distance to a variety of cafes, restaurants and cultural events.

Also we enjoy conserving part of Puerto Rico's architectural history by taking care of such a lovely colonial building, in Sol Street, one of the few residential areas in OSJ.
