Very nice home in Dubois, WY

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and well taken care of. Dubois is a nice little town. We enjoyed the Cowboy Cafe and had an awesome meal at Nostalgia Bistro our last night. The local grocery store is small and bit pricy but that is expected in a small remote mountain town. The drive to Yellowstone is about 1.5 hours and the drive to the Tetons is about an hour. It can make for a long day, but manageable. We found out the day we arrived that the property was for sale. Erik called one evening to see if the house could be shown to possible buyers the next day. While it was not a huge inconvenience for us - we were enjoying Yellowstone that day - we would have liked to have known the property was for sale and that possible buyers would want to see the house during our stay. When you rent a home for a family vacation there is an expectation that you will have exclusive use of the property. Had we known at the time we booked, we would not have chosen this property. Otherwise, we had a great time and hope to return to Wyoming again soon.

Dubois, prettiest town in WY.

  • 4 of 5

We really like Dubois, and the house on Rushing Horse creek is a fine place to stay. Well located. Well equipped, spacious, and the porch, with it's outdoor table is a treat to use, particularly evenings.

The primary fault is the lack of a cot or sofa-bed, so four people can each have their own bed. This was our second time in the house, and we would consider renting again.

Beautiful home with everything you need for an enjoyable vacation.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the home for 6 nights and loved it. We have a family of 5 and had more than enough room. Nice setting in a beautiful small town only about an hour from Yellowstone. We would recommend this home for anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway.

Quiet secluded home

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed our 3 night stay at house on horse creek road while visiting Teton and Yellowstone parks and Jackson, Wyoming. Walked the streets of Dubois one night and took home pie from local cafe. Kids enjoyed large yard. Home was well furnished.
