Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire space and enjoy all of the amenities the Coosawattee River Resort has to offer. The Recreation Center will provide all equipment for the courts, golf and swim diapers.

Other things to note
Resort Access cards will be provided - this will allow entry for up to 8 guests to any of the amenities within the resort.

The property can accommodate up to 4 vehicles.

For your safety there are 3 cameras on the exterior of the property. Front Door, Rear deck facing the woods and the Driveway floodlight.

Coosawattee River Resort is home to lots wild life. You WILL see many deer and wild turkeys - Possibly black bears, please drive with caution.

During droughts - Fire Burn signs are posted at the entry gates, kindly abide by these to preserve the beauty of our forests for generations to come.

Please note this is a two story property with steep interior stairs. Child gates are installed for use at your discretion and peace of mind. Upper stairwell entrance is secured with an interior door as well.

This was a fun and cozy place to stay! We loved the back yard and had enough space for the 3 families that were with us. The beds were comfortable and it was close enough to blue ridge for us to easy go over there for a day! Thank you for a great visit!

I cannot express how amazing this house is. Rarely do you find a play room and yard JUST FOR KIDS. Having 2 beds/bath on both the upper/lower levels with patios was spectacular. The yard is fenced in, you can see the play area from the kitchen table, and you don’t have to worry about much. We will come back! My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time with friends and I enjoyed adult time knowing the kids were safe wherever they were on the property. The only improvement I could say the location needs is upgraded pots/pans. The dishwasher is small, but with paper plates 6 people never had a full sink or went without utensils. The landlords were QUICK to respond to my texts, polite, and a pleasure to work with.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We adored Whiskey Cheeks! The rental was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family! The kids enjoyed the shuffle board and foosball table and found several games to play in our free time. And we loved hanging out in the hot tub while it rained! We visited the outdoor pool and playground one afternoon and it was lovely. We highly recommend this rental. I bet it would be amazing in the winter!

Short stay in Ellijay

The entire short trip was great. The cabin was as described and very clean and location was great. Communication with hosts was very easy and quick response back. I wish we had more time to take advantage of the pool and fishing. We took day trips and did not have time to check everything out. We hope to go back perhaps in the fall.

Almost perfect

The cabin was clean and nicely updated. The host was very responsive and helpful. My only concern were the stairs to the lower level. They are very steep but that is not mentioned in the description of the property. If you have anyone with even slight mobility issues those stairs are not doable. We had to adjust our sleeping arrangement for those that could not manage them. Otherwise, it’s a sweet cabin that is warm and cozy.
