Maine Ski Chalet "Galt's Gulch" | AC, Hot Tub, Fire Pit, 10min to Mountain!

Located 10 minutes from Sunday River mountain and situated in the idyllic town of Bethel, Galt's Gulch is a gorgeous ski chalet that will make all your troubles melt away. Whether you’re looking to ski, snowshoe, hike or simply unwind with family and friends -- your wonderland awaits at Galt's Gulch. Our chalet offers an expansive great room with a cozy fireplace, exposed wood cathedral ceilings and a beautiful kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances and dining area. A wrap around porch with gas grill and outdoor seating offers some of the best sunrise and sunset views over a neighboring mountain. Just off the porch is a screened in section with a hot tub - perfect for relaxing your muscles after a long day of adventure.

There are 2 queen bedrooms located off the kitchen/living space. Both rooms offer ample closets and TVs. These two guest bedrooms share a hall bath with shower/tub combo. Upstairs is a king master retreat with TV, private en suite with separate tub and shower and dual sinks. On the terrace level, guests will enjoy a large mudroom to drop/store all of your ski supplies as well as a full laundry space. This level also offers a second living space/game room complete with TV, ping pong and air hockey table. The 4th bedroom is on this level with dual queen bunks, lots of storage space, and a 3rd full bathroom with bath/shower combo.

Our home is situated on 1.5 acres with a great front yard perfect for sledding and a backyard complete with fire pit and woods to snowshoe through. We are 5 minutes to the Bethel Inn and downtown area with restaurants and shops and 10 minutes to Sunday River and all the winter activities you could want.

Our stay at Galt's Gulch was fantastic! The living area's were clean, open and welcoming. Our group loved the set up with the bottom level with the game room / entertainment area along with the bunk room which was perfect for our older kids. The hot tub was exactly what we needed after a day at the mountain. No complaints about this wonderful property. Thank you!!

Amazing time at Galts Gulch! Went for a long weekend to ski Sunday River and was a perfect house for what we needed. Great location, house has everything we needed for cooking and the layout was perfect for 10 adults. Definitely will be back!

Fantastic ski chalet 15 min from Sunday River

Our group of 8 had a blast at this wonderful ski chalet. Clean, spacious, and plenty to do. The house was well stocked / supplied for meals, games, and hot tub after a day of moguls. 5 minutes to downtown Bethel for shopping and scenery. Can’t wait to come back!

Sunday River ski trip

This place hit all the happy buttons. House was just as listed and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with whatever we needed to cook. We were all so was comfortable and cozy there no one wanted to leave. The mud room was perfect for all the ski gear and close enough to mountain that the kids suited up right there. Highly recommend!

This was the best place we’ve stayed since renting over the past 20 years! Much better than expected. The property has everything you will need for your stay. Very clean, modern, spacious and packed with supplies. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing at Sunday River. Even the bath towels were amazing. We stayed with 4 adults and had more room than we could use. Very convenient to get to and 17 min from Sunday River Resort. I highly recommend this property. Great communication from Mark with all the information we needed for the property. We even had someone shovel the deck, driveway and walkways after the snowstorm. We look forward to another visit in the future
