Penthouse Oasis in Prime London. Large, light, & stylish.
Welcome to our home, which combines penthouse pleasures with family comfort. After all, my twin girls and I live here when we aren’t traveling ourselves.
Our penthouse home provides space, light, elegance and scenery across the top two floors (3,400 square feet) of a prestigious five story building. An elevator with private key access whisks you up to reveal a home above the trees, graced with abundant windows and bathed in light. The private roof terrace offers panoramic views across London and is the perfect spot for a BBQ, sun downer or game of bocce.
Our home is designed for our style of family living. We are connected and so is our home. At its hub is a massive, welcoming kitchen for meals and togetherness. The kitchen freely flows to the two spacious reception rooms and up the stairs to a loft reception and our terrace sanctuary. When we need even more green space, we spill out to the 2 acre communal garden below. At the end of the day, we retreat to our five bedrooms featuring two king and three double (queen) beds.
Our home is nestled in Little Venice, an enchanting central oasis. One of London’s prime residential areas, Little Venice features a stunning canal, serene tree lined streets and a jewel of a village high street. Walk comfortably to Notting Hill, Portobello Road and Regent’s Park or hop on the tube at Warwick Avenue to be anywhere in minutes. Take a guided walking tour of the area's famous places and people. Ship off on a charming canal boat to the London Zoo and Camden Market.
We love it and hope you and your family will too.
We endeavour to ensure that our guests are comfortably situated and remain available to address any questions.
Thank you.

This is a lovely, spacious home in a terrific location for getting around. Just a few blocks to groceries, restaurants and the tube. We enjoyed having such a comfortable and lovely place to gather with our family.
absolutely fantastic stay. The flat is simply gorgeous and provides everything you could possibly need. Matt is an extremely gracious and attentive host. Would absolutely stay again!
Our family loved the penthouse living in this apartment. It was very comfortable and convenient enough to the tourist attractions. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet of the apartment and neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.
Wonderful very large penthouse flat in a quiet, convenient west London residential neighborhood. Very well appointed with lovely decor and amenities throughout, including a private elevator. Communication with host was exceptional throughout. Hoping to return again soon! Thank you Matt!
We had a perfect 4 days in London at Matt’s home. It was so stylishly decorated and comfortable and in a great neighborhood. Subway access close by and groceries and fab restaurants. We spent every night as a big family around the long table eating and playing games - it was a perfect family escape for Slrijg Break in London!
Matt’s home is the perfect place to stay to enjoy london! It’s spacious, well equipped and in an awesome location where you can get the metro, bus or Uber easily. Walking distance to Portobello Road
Great home. We stayed during a very cold week in March 2023. Whole place was warm and comfortable. Very close to the train station and supermarket. I was told by a local London family member that many celebrities live in Little Venice. We felt safe and free to go to many local attractions.
We came to celebrate a 75th birthday. The house was perfect for our family. The master suite with its outside space was delightful. We appreciated the large kitchen and living area. It was nice to have breakfast at home but we ate out for all other meals. The owner Matt was very responsive and great to deal with.
This property was spectacular. Our family visited to participate in the London marathon and this was the perfect place to stay. We had close access to the tube and were so close to Paddington Park for our children to play.
Communication with the owners was fabulous. They were kind, helpful and responded very quickly.
Highly recommend!
The penthouse apartment looks straight out of Elle Decor and is tasteful, tasteful, tasteful. Wonderfully located and easily accessed, it has a luxurious feeling of staying in a friend's lovely home, not in a sterile flat for rent. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful, elegant, unusual, dynamic. I could not imagine a more ideal temporary home in London.

Beautiful, Comfortable, Spacious, Great Location!
Staying in this penthouse home was one of the highlights of our trip to London. The home was beautifully appointed and was comfortable enough for our family of 6 (plus more, if we'd had them). It's in a fantastic neighborhood with wonderful restaurants, grocery shopping, and wide boulevards, and it is very convenient to the Bakerloo tube line. The owner had fruit and water available upon our arrival, which was much appreciated after a long flight. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay again.
Wonderful rental! Don't question this place for a second. Great communication with owners and impeccable property (as they live there when not renting out). In this regard, there is ample room for unpacking your own things and frig space. The 2 story penthouse is accessed via elevator and decorated in such a fun manner (but not so much that you worry about harming anything constantly). Great location with 2 tube stations very close to all London has to offer. Also an easy walk to markets, coffee shops, and pubs. Would rent again when visiting London!
Matt was very easy to communicate with and met us at the flat. The flat was perfect for our family of 8. It had a great washer/dryer, and a fabulous backyard giant garden that everyone loved. So charming and British! Online it looked like things might be breakable, but honestly even 4 kids age 5-9 did not break anything! The place is nestled in an adorable neighborhood and on the line that takes you to Embankment, Oxford circus etc. There are two tube stations nearby Maide Vale and Warwick. I would definitely recommend to others! We loved it! Very close to many coffee shops and there is great takeout as well!
The only flaw was one shower head was a little wonky but there was good pressure and hot water!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Unlike many other places we have experienced this is a real home filled with books, art, and many unique and personal items and objects. It has many places to sit and either be together or find a nook for privacy. It was December so we didn’t hang out on the porch, but it sure looks like a welcoming venue. Fantastic view and privacy. The owner was readily available by text to answer questions. For a family, it’s ideal. We had three generations of family and there was a place for everyone.
The neighborhood is also quite nice. There are small shops, cafes, and restaurants within a short walk. Particularly good meals at Antika, the Waterway, Ritu, Le Cochonnet. All within walking distance of the apartment. The Tube is two blocks in either direction and gets one anywhere in London.
In short, a terrific place.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t give 5 stars due to one issue where I found the owner to be unaccomodating:
We happened to stay during a particularly warm & beautiful week in London. The heating in the flat couldn’t be turned down and it was sweltering, so we had to keep the windows open. A gust of wind came through and blew over a figurine which the owner had perched on the window sil. The owner made us pay 150 GBP for it, despite us explaining that it wasn’t our fault. We found this to be an unfair extra charge.
Had the heating been able to be turned off, the window would not have been open in the first place, and the figurine wouldn’t have fallen. He wouldn’t budge on this issue which was very disappointing.

We all have a basic duty of care when staying in another’s home, whether a friend’s or a VRBO host.
In your text message, you acknowledged that your children or perhaps the wind may have caused the object to break. A simple precaution would have prevented the situation. And I would still be in possession of that valued gift from my children.
The heating is in full working order and can be turned on or off like everywhere else in the world with the flick of a button. You didn’t mention any problems during your stay.
I give all guests my mobile phone and encourage them to call to promptly to address any issues.
The flat was immaculate, easy to maintain, great area with little high streets. Easy to get to Piccadilly on the tube. Cabs and Uber found it easily. A definite re-book.
Thanks!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was in a lovely quiet neighborhood and near to restaurants and the tube station. The property manager was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and the set-up was perfect for me and my three friends. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and have privacy while also being together. We also loved the views from the top floor and the private elevator. Overall it was a great property and I would definitely stay there again.
Staying in this apartment was an absolute pleasure. The penthouse is spacious, impeccably decorated and very comfortable. Having a bedroom for each child made our visit much smoother than some other vacations. The spacious kitchen and sitting rooms were gathering places for our family as we started each day and after our outings. Easy transit access and very close to major London tube/train stations; close to groceries and some fun restaurants; very safe and walkable neighborhood with access to public gardens and the canal. Matt was great with communication and easy to work with.
Our family had a great trip to London and this property was perfect for our family! Plenty of space to spread out, spaces to gather and be together, and beautiful view from the upstairs balcony! The apartment is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. It was easy to walk to places to eat and the tube is very near, allowing us to get anywhere we wanted to go.
Matt is a wonderful host! He was an excellent communicator and was kind and gracious. Matt was very thoughtful and attentive, as is what is provided in the flat, down to phone chargers already in place on each night stand in master bedroom.
I would highly recommend staying here for a comfortable, beautiful place to stay when in London!
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this fabulous penthouse apartment located close to an Underground station, restaurants, pubs, grocery and cafe’s. Huge upstairs primary suite plus 3 bedrooms and two and a half baths downstairs. The owner’s recommendations for local restaurants was spot on.
A great spot for a family or group a little off the beaten track. This is a lovely spacious flat with a terrace overlooking treetops and spires. Ample space for entertaining. Easy access to underground in a homey neighborhood. Place is well-equipped, and host is very responsive.
Matt is the ultimate host as well as being very patient when guests have questions. This 2 story Penthouse is amazing in every way- comfortable, the best appliances and showers you will ever see, as well as super comfortable beds and linens and when you include the private rooftop terrace this is by far the best VRBO experience of my life
