This was probably the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed. The remodel of this home was done tastefully with quality in mind. As another review mentioned, the one bathroom was not too bad as they separated the shower area and toilet area. Cathlamet is a nice small town to visit.
This home on Puget Island was perfect! We wanted a few days away from our busy lives to relax, explore the local area, and and have a good base to stay. The home is exactly as described on Vrbo and exceeded our expectations. The home was clean with a lot of small details we appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked, more than I've ever seen in a Vrbo. Although we wish the weather was a bit nicer so we could enjoy the porch more, we did love the view of the island from the front and back of the house. The ferry was convenient and easy to use. Jamie was quick to reply to questions and the guest book provided was phenomenal. We hope we can make another trip out to stay here again!
The property was perfect for what we needed. It was far enough away from everthing that it was quiet but still close enough that it was a short run to the store. We thought 1 bathroom for 6 people would be a hassle but having the toilet and shower separate was perfect.
Wow! Hosts have outdone themselves with attention to detail. Hidden gem! You will not be disappointed with this property. So much better than advertised. 10 out of 10 for every category! Cleanest property I've ever stayed at. I've been to many. Perfect for our girls trip. Thank you Mike & Jaime for creating such a beautiful space and sharing it with us.
We got to wake up to a baby fawn curled up on the dew-covered lawn. We guessed it was born this week as we were treated to the sight of it taking a few wobbly steps toward its mother to nurse, while a variety of birds periodically perched on the string of lights between us and them.
In addition to the beautiful natural surroundings, the hosts have put a lot of thought into usability and anticipating guests’ needs. Their attention to detail and focus on guest comfort were evident throughout, making it easy to navigate and feel right at home.
We met friends and drove down from Seattle to meet other mutual friends in Cathlamet. This location was just the best. This house was truly perfect, immaculate and it had absolutely everything we needed and even amenities we didn't know we needed but they were there! Jaime was so attentive and the addition of bikes and kayaks was so wonderful!! We totally enjoyed a bike ride each morning around the island. We didn't get to utilize the kayaks but we will next time. This house was so clean and so well done. So swank and yet so darn adorable and comfortable. My husband, myself, my highschool friend and her husband had loads of room even with only one bathroom, it's so well designed that it just works great!!!
The back patio and gas firepit were sooo nice and the front porch swing was great too.
A baby fawn napped in the back yard most of the morning on our last day.
I honestly hate to give this place props because I don't want anyone to know about it so it can remain my own little secret oasis. But because it is Soooo great and the host was also fantastic, I won't be greedy and I'll share this experience with everyone else!
Truly it could not have been any better!!
Thanks for sharing this cool place with us! It was sooooo worth it!
