Tropical Paradise is located on a very secluded beach at the North end of Cat Island known as Shanna Bay. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful setting away from the fast paced hustle and bustle of the touristy locations, then this is the place for you. Our quaint beach house is located just steps from the waters edge. Offering a beautiful beach for walking, wonderful reefs for snorkeling, beautiful sunsets, and the most amazing stargazing while being lulled to sleep with the sounds of the waves rolling in. If you love beach walking you will have over 2 miles one way of sandy beaches to walk and swim along the way. If fishing is your thing you can fish off the shore line or go to Orange Creek for Bone Fishing less than 1/4 mile away. The islander are the friendliest people and will be glad to point you in the right direction for exploring. Cat Island is for those that have been to the tourist spots but now want to escape to a slower pace and just become part of the landscape and community. You will not find fast food or Starbucks on this island. Give the locals a chance to show you their hospitality and local cuisine. You will not be disappointed. Cat Island may not be the easiest island to get to but once you are here you will know it was well worth the trip. Come visit us at Cat Island and become part of the family.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights
Please take trash out to cans outside. Close doors and turn off AC’s and lights. Text me that you are leaving. Housekeepers will come in behind you to lock up house.
Please let me know if you had any issues with anything during your stay. We want your stay to be as perfect as possible. This helps us deal with any issues as soon as possible.

DO NOT leave KAYAKS on the beach when using. Bring kayaks and paddles up by deck. Beach chairs are not to be put into the water.
Turn off AC's when you are not in the rooms, they cool very quickly. Water is like gold on the island , do not leave water running needlessly.
We are on a Septic system, do not over use paper in the toilet and monitor children's use. Do not allow food or grease down the kitchen drain.
