If you’re looking for a “luxurious retreat” in LA, this is not it. The home may have been nice a few years ago, but it’s now showing significant wear and has multiple safety issues.Safety: A completely broken out upstairs window was “repaired” with duct tape and plexiglass. The door leading to the garage would not latch or lock. The sliding door in the primary bedroom would not lock at all.Condition/Interior: There were scuffs, cobwebs, and holes from previous wall hangings throughout, along with mismatched paint. On the back patio, there were wires hanging from the ceiling. The dishwasher was not secured to the cabinets and tipped forward when loading.Linens: Towels were mismatched and smelled strongly of mildew. There were no hand towels or washcloths for the bathrooms. There was also a large load of linens from the previous guest left in the dryer.To be fair, the property manager responded quickly and had the primary bedroom sliding door addressed the day after we checked in.Overall: Good location and plenty of space for a large group, but it should not be marketed as a “luxurious retreat” in its current condition.

LA house

Title: Comfort with Room for Improvement I recently rented a house that had a lot of potential but faced several issues upon my arrival. The cleanliness of the house was lacking, with numerous spiders and cobwebs present. Additionally, there were no clean bed linens available, which was quite disappointing. The air conditioning unit was also very dirty, detracting from the overall comfort of my stay. However, I would like to note that after my stay, the house underwent a thorough cleaning and became a much more pleasant and comfortable space. The environment is cozy, and it's clear that with a bit more attention to cleanliness and maintenance, it could be an ideal place to relax. Another aspect worth mentioning is the lack of televisions in the bedrooms, which could enhance the experience for those wanting some entertainment before bed. In summary, the house has great potential but needs improvements in cleanliness and additional amenities to truly become a top-notch destination for guests.
