Second Visit

While the exterior is unassuming the interior is comfortable and the decking is vast with plenty of shade. Although there is no air conditioning the interior remained cool with the cross breeze and the fans. Would come back again and again!

Great weekend getaway

Jon was a great host, and was helpful via instruction in the cottage and via text. We ran in to no issue, had a wonderful time as the space was cozy and peaceful.

Recommandée à proximité des Sandbanks!

Grand et confortable, bien équipé, à distance de vélo (15 min.) du parc des Sandbanks. Proximité de Picton et Bloomfield. Bord de Lac baignable, endroit très calme! Trois générations sous un même toit et chacun avait son espace de vie!

Perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the County! The cottage is perfectly located - 10 mins to Bloomfield, 20 mins to either Picton or Wellington, and a quick 5-10 mins to Sandbanks. We swam at the cottage itself everyday but often found ourselves at Sandbanks given the short drive and parking pass that comes with the cottage — sometimes even just to grab Reid’s Dairy ice cream :) Jon could not have been more responsive. A great experience overall! Looking forward to returning again!

Great Location - well kept property

This cottage was very clean and well kept. We had a great time - very comfortable and relaxing. Good amenities close by and just a quick jump to sandbanks.

Quiet waterfront stay

This cottage is right above the lake and has a beautiful view. The deck from the sunroom is spacious and there is a lower platform with a table and chairs also sitting above the edge of the water. You couldn't get closer! The cottage is spacious and has all the conveniences you need. The owner is gracious and responsive and very helpful. Surrounding towns and farms are beautiful and the area has many small shops, wineries, art, breweries, and restaurants.

Over the water wonder

This is a quiet, cosy, relaxing cottage right above the lake. The extensive outdoor decking gives many options for sitting out right over the water, true to the photos provided. Inside it is spacious and the bedrooms are situated comfortably apart from each other. The back lawn is quaint and large with chairs in the garden. Kitchen is new and clean and well equipped. The surrounding area is full of interesting things to do woth wineries, art, restaurants and beautiful farmland. Jon is very responsive to any issues you might have. I look forward to returning.
