Beautiful bright 1 bedroom 1 bathroom ground floor unit. Updated modern, sophisticated yet comfortable unit. Large 65 inch HD TV in living room and TV in bedroom also. Fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful garden setting. Large, screened lanai that opens to a tropical oasis. View of the 18th hole of the Fazio golf course. Five-minute walk to the hotel and beach. Wheelchair accessible. Window Ac unit in the bedroom. All linens and towels are provided.

Welcome to Kuilima Estates, the condo property located on the grounds of world-renowned Turtle Bay. The condos are surrounded by two beautifully manicured golf courses and are the only condos on the North Shore. This is a great place to relax, rewind, and restore, and a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The condo property is a short walk to the hotel and to a lovely, sheltered, coved beach, where you can swim, snorkel, and surf. We have our pools, with lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and charcoal BBQ grills. Bring your own equipment and play tennis on our courts at no charge. Experience the comforts of home as you experience aloha!
Since we are in a tropical environment, it is common to see insects and geckos in the condos. No amount of spraying will completely eliminate insects, especially ants.

Unfortunately the Kona low that hit Hawaii made the weather pretty undesireable. We were without power for 3 days. We made do, and there is no one to blame. We were looking forward to some sunshine, which is what people come to Hawaii to enjoy.

Wonderful Visit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This small condo has everything you could ever need! The a/c unit is in the bedroom so you will sleep comfortably. There is a full kitchen, washer dryer, small patio and relaxing living room. There is a beautiful heated pool just steps away but no hot tub.

Big Wave Central

Wonderful stay. The condonwas a great spot to venture out to see the big North Shore waves.

The condo is in a great location and has a nice layout, but a few things didn’t match what was described in the listing. The “fully equipped kitchen” was missing basics like cooking oil and simple seasonings like salt and pepper, and the toaster didn’t work during our stay. There was no shampoo or conditioner, only two tiny bars of soap that barely lasted a couple of days. The iron board latch was broken so it wouldn't stand properly, making it difficult to use and one of the bowls in the cupboard was still dirty with standing brown water. There was also a noticeable buildup of lint in the dryer vent, which poses a safety concern especially since laundry is advertised as an amenity.The unit itself is bright and comfortable as promised, but some of the maintenance and cleanliness details didn’t reflect the “updated and sophisticated” description. With better attention to upkeep and care, this could easily be a 5 star stay.

Best place Ive stayed

Meticulously clean and modern. Everything was pristine. I don't say that lightly as I am very particular about cleanliness. The only improvement I would suggest is replacing the toilet as it does not flush well. I highly recommend this place and will stay again. The listing stated no beach chairs are included but there were 3 when we got there. Perhaps the previous renters left them. Love this place!

Clean, neat, and no bugs! That is a make or break thing with me. The outside lanai was also beautifully furnished. Beautiful plantings in the garden. I loved to watch a little frog each morning. I don't think I ever watched tv in the morning. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to stay.

Charming bungalow

Great location, comfy bed, little extras like beach chairs and an ice chest were great. Well stocked kitchen. The only issue we had was check in. Gate code did not work. Called the numbers listed as well as the emergency line. No answer. We ended up parking over at the golf course and walking to the apartment area. We unlocked the apartment door and got the gate fob, going back to the car and then accessing the gate. What a pain. Property manager called over an hr later. We read that other people had the same issue.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this place! Decorated very well felt brand new. Your landscaping off the patio was stunning. There is one issue however and I am not complaining, just want to make you aware. There is a strong mildew smell that by the end of our stay had my allergies peaked and the plane ride home was miserable. I am a realtor and have a keen sense of smell and detect mildew pretty easily due my allergies , my clients are always grateful for my ability. I even gave your card to our friends who live in the area and loved it. Again, just wanted you to be aware. The property manager was not there when we checked in, we did find the security guy to be very helpful.

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. It was clean and had all the amenities needed. We came to go to the beach and golf and this location was perfect for that being a 2 minute walk to the golf course and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The Turtle Bay resort is a very short walk also. We also were able to hike the trails around the area from our condo. Formal dining is a bit sparse around the north shore. Pretty much only the resort had more traditonal dining. Other than that the shrimp trucks were ok. Ted's Bakery was good and there was a fun breakfast spot in Laie, Hukilau Café. Go see the Mormon tenmple while there it is a cool drive by. Heading west is great too we saw big waves and surfing down by the Bonzai Pipeline. Overall very good value the only slight complaint being this list of amenities wasn't complete. Did have hair dryer, coffee maker some beach stuff even though they weren't listed.

North Shore Vacation

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, fantastic time for all! However, the unit needs some attention: 1. Light fixture in kitchen had only one working bulb out of 7. Hard to see what you are doing while cooking. 2. Couch worked fine as a single bed, but not so well as a couch, as both arms at either end of the couch, *fell off* when the bed was opened, and one dared not lean against the arm at all. 3. No comfortable seating in the living room. Two director's chairs and one uncomfy 'mini-papa-san' chair. 4. Upstairs neighbors liked to throw kitchen scraps over the balcony rail to the birds. Not very neighborly! 5. The unit *did* have a massive flat panel TV. Nice, I suppose, if you are in Hawaii to watch TV. We never turned it on once. 6. Dishwasher leaked. Not a huge issue, as we could catch the runoff in a tupperware container placed under the leak, but it should be fixed.

Lovely Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 3 PM check-in with warnings for fines re earlier check-ins worried me. I called and was told gate code would be sent for weekend check in and that no one was in the office. At 3:05PM gate code would not work. We tried it twice. We called at gate and were transferred to voice mail that office was closed leave a message. Cars were now piled up behind us. They all backed out and we attempted the other gate for different condo numbers (not our unit 151). Code (207#Red button) didn't work there, either. A security guard gave us another code 198#red I think? It didn't work either. Finally, quite upset, a voice from a guard gets on the speaker and asks us who we are. We explain. She says just this once she will let us in. Very bad way to start. Condo was pretty and topically cleaned but mouse sized dead **** roach was front and center in master closet. A smaller dead roach in the bathroom and another on the kitchen floor. Master bedroom blind cord was broken and we couldn't raise the blind. Lots of lacy dust up and down the corner wall behind my bed. Otherwise, a lovely condo, huge TV. Comfortable bed. Well appointed kitchen. Lovely decor. Owner did great- management company could do better. Thank you for letting us rent your place. Thank you for the extra laundry soap you left-I was able to wash the beach towels and replace before we left.

The perfect home base - a quick drive to Foodland, the assorted food trucks and Haleiwa. Perfectly situation within the complex - a quick walk to the beach, pool and tennis courts. Ground floor unit good for couple

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We needed an extra unit to accomodate our family as we had extra members fly in half way through our vacation. I found this rental agency online and the description was accurate. The reviews were accurate too. It was easy to book and I felt I got a good deal. The place was clean and everything seemed new and in good shape. I slept very well. The bed was comfortable though I found the pillows a bit high personally. We didn't use the kitchen though it was well equipped. The unit has a nice cross ventilation. You can hear the people upstairs come and go and that woke us up early mornings but we are light sleepers. I would come here again.
