It was a perfect spot for my wife & I. It was right on the water, and we loved that they had kayaks for us to use. Stacy and Radu were very nice.

Host was very welcoming and helpful. Location was ideal for a variety of hiking, shopping, and dining experiences. Accommodations were small but clean and very comfortable for 3 adults and a Golden Retriever. Spectacular sunset views. No television, but that was OK because we didn't really miss it.

Great location

The cottage is located near so many different types of activities and dining options. It is very relaxing hanging out on the pond and enjoying nature. We had everything we needed and our hosts are very accommodating.

Beautiful, restful spot

The rustic cabin was just perfect for us on the beautiful pond. Our hosts were easy to get in touch with and were very responsive. We loved our daily visits from Obi the cat. The location was super convenient and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved it and we look forward to staying there again sometime!

Considerate and friendly hosts

The view of the lake is excellent as is watching the ducks and loons. The cottage is smaller than we envisioned with bare bones kitchen facilities. Radu and Stacey are very helpful and responsive.

The perfect getaway!

We loved our stay here! Everything is as pictured, with all of the things you may need. Sheets, towels, all the kitchen supplies, and extra adirondack chairs outside! You have your own water access right there, it's nice and shallow with a sandy bottom for quite a ways which was great for our kids. Very convenient location, close to things but you still feel secluded next to the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Great little cottage on a nice small lake!

Although the weather was not perfect, we enjoyed much our stay in the cottage. We had fun kayaking and fishing and visiting all the seashore towns nearby.

Beautiful lakeside views less than 10 min from downtown Rockland, 15 from Primo restaurant and 25 from owls head lighthouse. Stacey was very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here.

Little Oasis in Rockport

This is the perfect little getaway and the cottage is serene and homey. You're right on the water and can enjoy kayaking or swimming or just taking in the view. The hosts were very communicative and understanding of my schedule changes. A great place to stay in midcoast Maine!

Convenient, peaceful and right on the water.

This cottage is in sweet spot right on the water, with easy access to Rockland and Camden. We found it well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. In the evenings we enjoyed watching the sunset and listening the loons call.

I was born and raised in Maine. World traveler. Now permanently in Maine to be close to my family. Campbell Compound was built by my father and has been my house since childhood. My husband Radu was born and raised in Romanian. We are both Bartenders. We love meeting new people and sharing the beauty of this place with others. We work locally and spend our days active, surrounded by good friends, good food, the Maine summer sun.

The lake is this house's main attraction. All things revolve around the weather and lake settings. The mornings are serene and calm perfect for paddle boarding. In the evenings the sun sets in between the two mountains directly across the lake. There is always a lite breeze and loons to fall asleep to. The sound of the brook running through the property will lull you to bed at night.
