As you round the shoreline, the stretching waterfront landscape will catch your eye as you approach the parking lot directly in front of the lodge (Yes! There is ample space for a trailer!). You will use a keyless lock system to enter your cabin.

Open your door and you are already on the ground level of your new place! You will be instantly greeted with the aroma of pine which is visible in the tongue and groove walls and ceiling as well as an instant sight of north facing windows capturing a stunning view of the Portage Canal. What you will find on second look is a comfortable queen bed around the corner and many beautifully crafted pieces of cedar, Amish made furniture.

Traverse the stairs to the third floor and you will find a cozy loft with two more bedrooms with ensuite baths and an entertainment area with a sauna and six twin XL bunk beds. This cabin accommodates up to twelve adults!

This hand made, custom milled, northwoods cabin boasts a three story duplex including a garden level and an upstairs double decker terrace. The cabin size in total is 2,700 square feet! Included is a full kitchen and a washer/dryer unit for your convenience and utility.

Walk out the back door onto your balcony and embrace the jaw dropping, sweeping beauty of the Keweenaw Waterway in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Whatever your needs may be: Visiting Michigan Tech, snowmobiling (the Bill Nichols trail is only .25 miles from the resort!), swimming at the beach, or skiing (Mont Ripley is less than 2 miles from the resort), we offer a comfortable, comprehensive resort experience for you.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was very open and spacious, the deck was our favorite place to hang out. Great views of the portage and sunsets! Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the facilities, the cabin was nicely cleaned and spacious, we had the perfect amount of beds for 12 of us, and bathrooms. Amenities on the grounds were nice. Our air conditioning did not work, didnt have dinner plates, only forks for 8 people, no frying pans. We did go purchase these, but would hope that these would be there for guests. The area around the resort is beautiful and close to shopping, tourist attractions, and the downtown.
