We love our stay and can’t wait to come back! The house was perfect, and had everything we needed. The pool was so refreshing, and the house was just as promised. The beds were the BEST! Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Absolutely loved the house and location. Weather didn't allow us to use the pool or spend much time outside in general but we did spend plenty time inside and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Next time we are staying in the area will definitely look up this place again.

Everything was as stated. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Only issue we had was the mosquitoes around the pool. There is lots of vegetation around the pool area and sitting water. The mosquitoes and ants were plentiful even during the day. Take lots of insect repellent.

We loved every moment there! Would like to rent long term this fall. The half bathroom sink has a terrible drain problem is the only slight problem.

We had an awesome stay! Beautiful home, very clean, stocked with everything we needed. Great location! We loved having the pool and the beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. The bed swings were an instant favorite. Great communication from property manager. Wish I could give it ten stars!

Excellent escape

We recently stayed at the Boat House for a week of family time and relaxation. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the backyard pool was perfect! The house was in a great location with water views and close to town. It was a quick trip to our favorite little beach spot in Pass Christian! This was an excellent escape for our family of 4!

Summer Unwind

Boat House was exactly what we were looking for. The porches were the highlight of our stay. Only disappointment about this property was the backyard/pool area. Needs some attention and upkeep. But has sooo much potential. Love the location!!!!

Host was unavailable on vacation with no one in office that could help. We rented for two nights. Sunday was calm except for generator running all night long. Monday morning Arrived to CHAOS across the street directly in front of rental. Road was being torn up for progress in BSL but the noises from heavy machinery like excavator, generators, pumps were nerve racking. Workmen arriving blasting their car radios at 6 am. Road was crowded with several trucks with trailers moving equipment in and out all day. My sisters and I could not sit outside on porch to relax with so much commotion going on. View was ruined, just picture a big blue PortaPotty under the beautiful old oak trees! Machines scared off all the pelicans we enjoyed last March and wanted to come stay while it was warmer and enjoy the pool. Pool area is hazardous with Poison Ivy and Poison Sumac growing two feet high about a foot away from chairs by pool and surrounding area has very sharp granite rocks for bare feet. Pool has uneven sharp bricks for coping around pool which drew blood. Outside garbage can was full. A big wharf rat climbed down from Kitchen area onto ground while we were in back yard. We needed a quiet peaceful time as two of us are caretakers for handicapped veterans. Peace was not available at this time!

Relaxing vavay

We came with hopes of relaxing and that's exactly what we did! The Boat House has many different areas to kick back and relax, even during a rainy few days. We did have a few issues with minor areas that are in need of repair as well as landscaping in need of much maintenance. We loved the decore and fully equipped kitchen for cooking. We chose to relax and enjoy. We were very thankful for accomodating host, Kristen, and the ability to view the bay from the porch. anceor

Maybe I'm too picky...

The property was very nice and as others mentioned, the wrap around screened porch was used a lot.Communications: I was already in a tizzy that our other location (non VRBO) had been cancelled 5 days before our due arrival. I wasn't sure if my res for The Boat House went thru, so I sent Kristin a message via VRBO on Friday for her confirmation. I called her on Mon., late morning since I hadn't heard from her. I also contacted her about check in since I hadn't heard anything. Note: she said she sends that out 24 hrs. before the arrival. Sooner would have helped.Kitchen: It was nice but lacked a few things since we were there for a week. There are not any pans for the oven, so skip the pizza. Bring your own salt, pepper or any seasonings.Bedrooms: The pictures showing bedroom 1 is actually the swinging beds below the house. There is a king bed and 2 twin beds.The grounds: Hopefully a GOOD Spring clean up will get rid of the litter around the house, cheer up the gardens and fix the loose bricks around the pool. There are great floats for the pool.

Great property! Great location- we were able to take a golf cart into town for dinner and shopping. The pool was wonderful. It was very shady so we didn't have to worry about sunburns! Just remember to bring bug spray…there were a lot of gnats around the pool area. Overall this was a wonderful property and we would stay here again.

The house was as advertised. It was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool, which was so nice! The porch areas are beautiful! We’ve talked about coming back next year for our anniversary again!
