About Leslie Graham
My husband and I were given a large cabin to stay in for our honeymoon many years ago. During that week, it snowed, we skied...it melted, we fished...we had all kinds of fun! And so the story began.....
Leslie Graham purchased this Condo in 2012
Why Leslie Graham chose Mammoth Lakes
Mammoth is one of the most beautiful places in the world. We chose Mountain Shadows because the complex is well maintained, and the owners/managers are very involved in making sure it is the best it can be.
What makes this Condo unique
Mountain Shadows is quiet and peaceful. It is nestled in a few pines and yet very convenient and accessible.

A nice midweek stay
I spent a couple of days here, it was midweek and the complex was empty. Close by restaurants and the right aid. The bed was comfy and the sauna/jaccuzi were great for post climbing/boarding
quaint with and had everything we needed
This studio was perfect for my family of 3. Great location that was close to town including the market, drug store and restaurants. Shuttle pick up to the lifts was just outside the complex. The key combo locker was a little hard, but we figured it out. Didn't have a lot of extras, but we were prepared and for the price it was perfect!
Thank you for coming! We appreciate your feedback and hope that you can come again!
Great cozy place
Easy communication w owner. Space is perfect for me and my two sons.
Would return for next trip.
We had a great stay in this comfy condo. The owner, Leslie, was super responsive and helpful, great to work with. It's in a great location, close to shopping and lifts, very quiet, clean, the bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was great! Larger than I expected. Parking was close, and the manager on site was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the partition between the bed and the sofa bed as well. Highly recommend!
Thank you for coming! I hope you had an incredible time. We are here now and it is dumping...so beautiful. Please come back.
Look no further...
If you are looking for a condo in Mammoth that is well appointed, centrally located and charming, this is your property. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The owner Leslie Graham is very responsive and lovely to deal with. In my opinion the condo would be tight for four people but it was perfect for the two of us. We would absolutely recommend it and we will definitely stay again!
Thank you so much! Please come back...we were glad to have you and appreciative of your help.
Great value, but expect to get what you pay for.
We recently spent two nights in this cozy condo, we enjoyed our stay and it was fine for us. The condo is very conveniently located for walking into town or driving or busing to the ski area. We liked the fireplace in the unit and having a kitchen as well as the very comfortable bed. The owner was very responsive to our emails and calls. For the price it was more than adequate for our needs.
We do have some advice/comments for others that are considering a stay here...
First, the directions for hot tub/sauna access that the owner provided were incorrect. When you check-in and pick up your parking pass and keys, the on-site manager (super nice guy), will give you a sheet with the correct access combination, use this NOT the owner provided code.
Second, the refrigerator froze ALL of our produce, for many folks perhaps not a big deal, but my wife is vegan and had purchased a lot of lettuce and other produce and put it in the fridge, 24 hrs later it was all frozen and inedible.
3rd, the coffee maker in the unit is a Keurig. If you are bringing or buying coffee for your stay you either need to buy Keurig pods or bring your own cone/Malita type filter, (none in kitchen).
4th, though two door keys were provided, one barely worked and took a lot of fiddling with to actually open the door, count on only having one key. Also, the owners info says that there is a combo lock on the ski locker, but it is actually a key, (this one worked fine).
5th, there was plenty of dry wood for the fireplace but no newspaper, kindling or fire-starter to get the fire going. Grab some free newspapers in town or buy some fire starter at the store to make building a fire easier. Also note the owners instructions on fireplace operation are a bit unclear, some typos and/omissions, and you might want to look it over and get clarification before you make the fire.
6th, the walls are thin, you WILL hear folks in the surrounding units.
7th, there is some staining and incomplete painting/drywall in the unit, not a problem for us, but for those that want their rooms perfect, they might be offended by this.
8th, small hot water heater, watch your shower time
All of this may sound negative or make it sound like our stay was bad, this was NOT the case. We enjoyed the condo and our stay and thought it was a great value. We understand that this condo is NOT a luxury hotel/condo, and can appreciate that we were not paying $300-500/nt, so some rough edges were not a problem for us
Thank you for coming! We are trying and will keep trying, until our unit is the best it can be....
The green line has a stop right outside the complex to take you to Eagle Lodge. It runs every 15 minutes. Very convenient.
