Our cabin is in an authentic mountain neighborhood of vacation homes and local residences. While a few of the residences are not in ideal condition, we know each of our neighbors; they can be counted on in a pinch!
Due to the nature of our mountain location, our home may lose power during weather events. Outages typically last for 2-3 hours when this occurs. Flashlights and extra blankets are provided for these occurrences. When power is out, cooking options are limited. If a guest chooses to check out during a power outage, a refund of the nightly fee will be provided. Guests choosing to keep their reservation will be charged the full booking amount.
While infrequent, you may encounter our staff as they maintain the hot tub and exterior grounds. Hot tub maintenance is conducted once per week and typically takes less than 15 minutes. While it typically can be used 30 minutes after service is complete, if a water change is necessary, the hot tub will take 4-5 hours to reach the desired temperature. Hot tub use is not recommended for guests with certain medical conditions, guests with skin sensitivities, or children. Please consult with your doctor prior to use if this applies to you. If signs of pets are found in the hot tub, an extra cleaning fee may be assessed.
We do not allow visitors on premise at any time. We provide rate flexibility to provide the best value to groups of all sizes. Please ensure all guests are registered at booking; rates change based on group size. Please register infants as children; they are counted within the max occupancy of our home.
Grill, patio furniture, and/or hammocks are available Memorial Day through Labor Day.
While we strive to upkeep our property and ensure all amenities are guest-ready, there's a chance an amenity may be unavailable during your stay and/or item missed by our cleaning team. In such cases, you can choose to check out for a full refund of the unused nights' accommodation fees. If you decide to stay, the full reservation cost will be charged. Partial refunds won't be provided for any reason.

Everything was great! We loved the hot tub and detached game room. Spacious for our 2 families and kids. It was a very relaxing right next to the creek. We would definitely stay here again.

There was a used bandaid under the sheets in the downstairs bedroom.
The cabin was clean and exactly as described. We had an issue with the fireplace (our fault, not the property's) and Nikolaus and the operations manager were quick to fix it. It's nice that the game room is separate from the main house because you can play and make noise even if someone wants to nap and have quiet in the main house. We had a great weekend and would definitely stay again.
Beautiful area, we all love the nature around here and the river by the cabin is amazing. Next time we hope to stay a little longer, and really enjoy it.
We loved this cabin. Everything was great for us. Quite area, being able to hear the creek, have a fire, relax in the hot tub. It has been a long winter for us and it was just what we needed. We need to come back for a longer stay and enjoy the area more. Many thanks for making the property available for us.
We were wanting a relaxing low key weekend to celebrate a friends 57th birthday. Everyone had their own room and when someone decided to not want to share anymore, they were able to use of the 2 pull out couches. The separate game room had a pool table, ping pong table, large sectional/pull out, a large TV and an Xbox. The two bathrooms inside the main home had excellent pressure and the water stayed nice and warm/hot. We loved hearing nothing but the creek behind the home. The fenced in yard was perfect for the birthday boys dog. The hot tub was perfect for me as I am healing from a car accident. It was a nice experience to be in the hot tub when it started to snow at night and an even cooler experience to see a whole pack of deer on the opposite side of the creek whole soaking. The kitchen was excellent for our cooking needs. We had such a great experience. I booked again while on site. :) the hosts were also kind and friendly and made sure the place was clean for us before arrival.

Nice Place, Poor Execution
Overall we did have fun on our trip and would recommend that you stay near Mt. Rainier for a few days of hiking, just not at this property. The location was nice and the property should have gotten at least 9/10 without much effort. Unfortunately, during our stay there were three main issues that led to this low rating.First, and most egregious, was that they did not change the sheets from the people before us, and not just that they did not have someone come and make the beds. Everything was made up like they had been cleaned but when we were getting in bed (late because of our travels) we could feel dirt between the top and fitted sheets. Upon further inspection, there was significantly more dirt in the foot area of the bed, so it was clear that the sheets had not been changed. When we brought this up to the management we got back “Okay, I will tell the cleaning person. Do you want them to come clean tomorrow?”.Second, the water heater was not functioning properly and we could only take one shower at a time even though there are two bathrooms with showers. To get one shower hot we had to turn off the heat in the house and even then it only worked intermittently. About a third of our showers were ice cold.Third, the house had not been vacuumed between stays and there was significant dirt all over the floor especially around the doors but also in all of the carpets. These issues were preventable and we hope the management takes more care in the future.
