Stay High Above the Rooftops of San Francisco’s Noe Valley
$800.00 weekly, 1 Week minimum stay, $2300.00 monthly., Sleeps 2. Unfortunately, I am not able to accommodate children.
You'll love this sunny, cozy rooftop studio like room in the quiet San Francisco neighborhood of Noe Valley. You will have a panoramic view all the way from Twin Peaks to the San Francisco Bay. Today, Noe Valley is one of San Francisco’s most desirable residential areas full of Victorian homes, shops, restaurants and easy public transportation access, all in one of the sunniest parts of The City.
Watch the fog hover over Twin Peaks as you have your morning coffee as the warm sun shines through your windows on three sides of the room. Accommodations include a warm comfortable bed, cable TV and wireless Internet access. You will also find a half-bath with a beautifully tiled shower, wet-bar with large sink and small refrigerator. You will be provided with dishware, pans, and utensils to make simple meals with the microwave, electric burner, and toaster oven. Linen and towels are provided.
This beautiful rooftop hideaway has a separate entrance through a side passageway and up a back staircase. Must be able to negotiate stairs since access is up a circular staircase of 43 steps that are unfortunately not very child-friendly.
You will be in walking distance to restaurants and Noe Valley’s 24th Street shops. You can also catch the J-Church MUNI line just a block away that will give you direct access not only to the Noe Valley, Castro, and Dolores Park Neighborhoods, but also to downtown for the Cable Cars, Union Square, and the Embarcadero. BART is just a short 10-minute walk away.
Parking is on the street. A washer and dryer are available on the premises.
Please let me know where you are coming from if you are interested in my rooftop sunroom.

The ROOFTOP SUNROOM is literally that, a room perched on the roof of a two unit building in San Francisco's Noe Valley. You view is panoramic from Twin Peaks looking west sweeping around to San Francisco Bay looking east.
What makes this Studio unique
San Francisco is a city of neighborhoods and Noe Valley is one of the nicest. It is in a part of The City that the sun shines brightly when much of the rest of San Francisco is in the Fog. It is a neighborhood where you walk! Walk to the shops and stores on 24th St., or find wonerful restaurants just blocks away on Church St. Walk to a cheese store, meat market, or take in the Saturday morning Farmers' Market. Walk in any direction and you will find a coffee shop where you can sit and relax enjoying your tea or coffee.

The apartment was clean and light, with great views over the valley. It is a great price for San Francisco and very well located. It has everything you need, including an electric kettle (not always a given in US hotels!).
We are a couple in our 30s and this apartment was perfect for us as a base to explore the city. Elderly people may struggle with the stairs - but they are nothing compared with the steep hills of San Francisco, and Dana is very helpful with carrying suitcases!
Dana was friendly and easy to deal with when arranging the stay. He greeted us warmly and provided plenty of info.
I highly recommend this place!
very nice little flat on rooftop with a smashing view 220 degrees round, in a pleasant neighbourhood, everything you need and a very nice host Dana - we liked it very much. You have your own staircase, but its narrow - so leave the trunks at home.

If you don´t have time to read reviews don´t go on reading, rent it.
For starters, Mr. Dana Rees is a nice gentleman. He is present but not intrusive. Meeting him was my privilege.
The apartment is on Dolores St. A nice quiet two ways street. Fine location, just across 26th St is a coffee house. On the same block there is a winery, a restaurant and, at the corner of Church St and Clipper St., a tea house. At the same corner is a Muni J route stop. The J carries you along Market St all the way to Embarcadero and the Financial District. There is more public transportation at nearby Cesar Chavez St and Mission St. 24th St Mission BART Station is, obviously, at the corner of 24th St and Mission St.
On Mission St there are many Groceries/ Green Groceries. “Se habla español”
The apartment is, via a flight of stairs, on the 3rd floor of the house. Not big deal for us, in our lower seventies, just a warm up for the city hills and Dana helped us with our luggage not to mention he helped me by having my suitcase repaired.
The apartment, which houses two people, has windows on three of its sides, a more than 180 degrees awsome view, Twin Peaks included. Good furniture includes bed, chest of drawers, a comfortable chair, a large table and chairs, TV set and audio system. The bathroom has a shower cabin and a large mirror. Another mirror is on the bedroom. Nothing is missing in the kitchen. It has a Microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, electric grill, electric stove and fridge. Linens, towels and kitchen towels are provided. There is a washing machine and a dryer on the first floor. In the apartment hallway there is a closet with plenty of hangers. Dana will provide you with a great deal of printed information, second to the San Francisco library only. My advise is: if it is within your budget rent it.
This was a lovely couple from Argentina and it is reviews like this that have resulted in more international guests. Right now I have a young couple from the UK, and I have had a number of guests from Germany this year.
It was a delight to have the guests from Argentina and I am alway happy to help make their visit more enjoyable.
Thank you Jorge for the wonderful review.
This sunny rooftop room is a very beautiful place. the panoramic view is amazing. Everthing was very clean and the small open kitchen has everything you need. Dana is a great, fiendly and helpful host. He helped me carry the luggage up the stairs to the room and he is open for questions and provide help, if needed. I enjoyed very much my stay there.
Great time in Noe Valley!
Dana was a great host and very accommodating! The laundry came in handy midway through the trip. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Comfy room with wonderful rooftop views
The stairway is a little steep but absolutely worth the effort. The rooftop views are amazing, almost 360. The room is clean and well furnished. A lot of direct light!
Dana has been a wonderful host, caring and resourceful.
We'll come back for sure!
