Taylor was fantastic. He was easily reachable. The house was conveniently located. Had lots of space, beautiful pool and jacuzzi. Would def rent again.

The house was beautifully updated and clean. The layout was perfect for our stay

Property was the prefect location for our stay. Well equipped for everything we needed. Taylor is great and very accommodating! We highly recommend this rental if you need to stay in the plantation area.

Communication and amenities

lack of communication waited to hear back a few days on how the hot tub works and it did not work While the hot water tub was on site, it was not functioning. Wifi sucked. Connected TV was good. Each tv had a roku express device but wifi was just horrible even for laptops to connect and browse.

It looked nice in the pictures…

Well the pictures look nice but not quite reality. The house came with nothing. No dish soap, no sponge, no dishwasher detergent, no dish towels, no paper towels, no light bulbs in many of the lamps (the lamps were also unplugged). Property definitely has some termite issues as the flying critters were in the master shower and hallway. The master bath toilet regularly needed to be plunged and when doing so water would shoot out of the sink, so something is not functioning properly. Tried calling the property manager, no answer and mailbox is full, so no help there. Also the power in the house would randomly do a full shut down and then power up for a second, this happened multiple times. Might explain why things including the TV were unplugged. The house is also on a busy road. The pool filter was not running and the hot tub was uncovered and in need of water both were dirty and the hot tub water had a funky smell. Didn’t use either. Some of the pans were dirty and with a lack of anything to clean them with were not used. Think twice about booking this one.

We would not stay here again

We've rented multiple times in vacation areas around the world and this house was a disappointment. Owner was aggressive and rude. House has inoperable refrigerator not properly secured in the garage along with the broken chairs from the kitchen. You'll notice no front elevation photos of the house as it looks like an abandoned property on arrival. Neither the refrigerator nor the dishwasher works properly. Pool has no railing on the stairs. Pool furniture needs replaced. Loose wires hanging out of the ceiling. We hosted friends from Fort Lauderdale area who choose not to stay given the condition. Garage door opener is a jerry rigged door bell hanging from a loose wire from the garage ceiling. House trim is missing around the pool area. Very unsightly. In one place the house is described as minutes from downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beach. More like 46-60 minutes. Broward Blvd is a six lane street in front of the house and the traffic never stops. None of the blinds actually block light during the night. The pool was warm as we had hoped.

First home had plumbing problems Owner called offered another home the home was no ready very dirty couches not cleaned sofa bed very dirty unsanitary no shower rod for shower ants and I could not receive a refund

Nice place, but…

Had a really good booking experience and the host is great, responsive, and attentive. However, his support staff needs retraining or replacing. Terrible cleaners! Most of our issues came due to poor cleaning. Underwear were found stuffed in between the beds and lots of floor cleaning. I won’t mention the huge lizard/ iguana we met on accident in one of the rooms since it’s Florida where they are common, but again poor cleaning and inattention led to that mishap. Otherwise great location, amenities, still had a good time with family.

Cruise pre trip

We rented this property to have a mini vacation before our family cruise. The property was located in a convenient location. It was close to stores and close enough to Miami where our cruise was leaving from. The property is spacious which is great for large groups. The pool was an extra perk for the children.

great for the price

ok I stayed at this property in december 2022 the pictures do not do it justice it a very big home plenty of space the pool was great. the only problem I had was there was not enough cable channels to watch they had a lot of Latin channels but nothing else. would definitely stay again when I come back home.

Stay at Plantation

The house was as in picture, but the outside needs some more cleaning and updating. The only issues were kitchen faucet was wobbly, bathroom vents didn't work, and kitchen cabinets handles were loose. Other than that, the house is very nice and our family loved it. We highly recommend it to a large family or any family gathering.

Not Deep Cleaned

Upon arrival, it is an eye sore but once entering property pictures are as described. This could have been a 5 star review if the cleanliness and sanitation of property was given some effort. We are still in a pandemic and only surface level cleaning was done. Towels were in horrible condition so we went and bought our own. Hot tub looked and smelled like it hasn’t been used for years. We made it work but definitely won’t be back.

Very good house for price

House was clean and very roomy. Kids loved the pool! Plenty of space for our 2 families. A few broken things/cheap dishes etc but nothing bad enough to ruin our stay! Thank you for a lovely time in Florida!

Worse experience ever

This property was terrible from when we pulled up, but not trying to judge a book by its cover we went inside. The house is very large but everything is out dated especially all of the furniture, couch was broke down with plywood drilled in the bottom, wiring exposed, doors broken, storage room was the garage with a curtain covering piles of air mattress and other piles of junk. Walls were extremely dirty with coffee stains, hand prints, mold in windows. Blinds throughout house damaged and dirty. With pandemic my worse dream came true, sheets dirty, refrigerator broken. No light bulbs, smoke detectors throughout the house. I contacted owner he informed me that these were minor issues. He became very hostile and would not take ownership of any of the issues presented. He brought a air mattress and ripped down the blinds stating they should have not been there. It appears he never came to this property, to access the many things that have not been addressed for years. We could not stay in this property due to safety issues. I spoke to owner before expressing my concerns with one of the reviews and he made it clear and reassured me that if we weren't please he had other properties. Once we got to this property and expressed our major concerns, he said we where blowing things out of proportion and that this was a million dollar home. For the price of this house there is no way it should be in this state, this property looks like someone lived here for years and never cared for it. This was the worse trip ever and I am still trying to recupe my money on top of having to stay somewhere else. There is no way this property should be listed on VRBO

Inaccurate Information

From the pictures on VRBO this property looks really good. The truth is that it is very worn. The beds are uncomfortable. My husband has back problems so we ended up staying in the Marriott Court Yard a few miles away. In the info on the property, it lists that there are two hide a beds, which we had planned to use for the children. There were none. The one couch that looked like it would be a hide a bed was broken, and when you sat on the couch the cushions collapsed underneath you so that you would be sitting in a hole. There were air mattresses in the house, but unfortunately a pump to blow them up wasn't provided. We discovered that too late to be able to go buy one for the night. The pool was nice for the children, and there were pool toys that the kids enjoyed. Unfortunately the decking that was used on the terrace is indoor flooring, which is very slippery when wet. A couple of little ones fell and hit their heads on the ground. We were lucky they didn't split their heads open. We had to put towels on the decking for them to walk on so that there would be traction to keep them from falling. Even though the house has been updated, there are too many other issues that keep it from being comfortable to stay at.

Great stay

Our stay was great. Great big house with lots of extra sleeping arrangements 20 ppl can easily stay. The owner was very kind and always available. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for homey feel on their vacation. Would be back !

Not for Vacation

The house itself is not maintained well, some of the bed mattresses were hard and squeak every time you turned, some of the t.v’s remote were out of batteries and one of the bathroom shower curtain had black mold. The area that the house is in, Its not A good area to have a nice and relaxing vacation. Every night the sound of police and fire department sirens at all times of the night do not allow you to rest. One night there was even gun shots, can not stress how bad of a night we had. I would not recommend this house to anyone looking to relax. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Very nice house

Spacious and accommodating for 9 of us. I'd give it a 5 star if the bed sheets weren't bumpy. Guest bathroom shower curtain kept falling off...otherwise no issues and owner were very responsive. Word of caution for families: on a very busy major street.

i owned this property for 3 years ,i put so much work in to it, built it myself with my brothers help,, after it was finished i was debating in selling it,but i got so attached to it ,that i decided to rent it out to vacationers it has a very large back yard to walk around and enjoy ,it has 3 different fruit trees ,mango trees , avocado , and kiwi trees,almost all year round,its like living off your land ,the house is one story ,its very wide you get so much light ,it has a big kitchen barbecu area ,sitting area over looking the pool, its like,, paradise ,, and its close to everything,
