Guest access

The house is located on a 2 acre property with its own private driveway and ample parking for up to 7 vehicles. There is a remote entry with individual code that will be provided upon reservation.

Interaction with guests

We are local to the area and available in a short drive if needed but like to provide our guests all the privacy they are reserving this house for.

The primary suite is located on the main level with attached ensuite and large walk-in closet. The 1/2 bath on the main level includes a full functioning washer & dryer for our guests during their stay. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom is a KING. The other bedroom has a QUEEN and TWIN. The hallway bathroom has two vanities and a 6' long shower.

Other details to note

High speed fiber optic internet is provided. The property is located centrally to 151 but a mile down off of a quiet road with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and cow pasture/farmland.

The property was extremely clean, comfortable, and had everything you would need. I enjoyed the views, the curious neighbors (cows) and the firepit. The check in/ out process was extremely easy. The location was very convenient to Charlottesville or Waynesboro, hiking the BRP/Skyline Drive, orchards, antiques and country stores, as well as wineries and breweries. I would definitely consider staying here again -- Highly recommended.

Charlottesville Vacation

We met up with a group of college friends for a trip in wine country and to catch up with everyone. The house was great for our group of 6 1 toddler. Location is phenomenal if you're looking to go vineyard hopping. The view from the house is gorgeous.

We couldn’t have be more pleased with our stay at Blue Ridge Beau. The cottage seemed new and beautifully decorated, and was amazingly well appointed. We had fun trying out the fire pit and learning to use the pour over coffee system. The beds were oh so comfortable, and I was impressed with details like kitchen cabinets with labels on all the contents (making it easy to find anything you might need) and the plentiful electrical outlets throughout. The house is on a residential street so you don’t feel isolated, and yet the back looks out over pastureland and Afton Mountain, and seems quite bucolic. The owner was easy to communicate with. The only problem that we had was not wanting to leave!

We had an amazing stay at Blueridge Beau. The special touches in every room made it feel like a luxury resort and we were blown away by the organization and amenities provided. The view is gorgeous and we enjoyed sipping out coffee and watching the cows graze in the fields. Great location close to wineries and restaurants. We already want to book for next year. Thank you for hosting us!

This house was EXACTLY as it appeared online. Super clean, well stocked, well decorated and amazing views of the mountains. We love Afton and have stayed before, but not in this home. It was plenty of space for two couples, and I actually wish that we were less busy so we could have spent more time actually AT the house!! I was the hero of the trip for finding this house for us to rent! Our friends absolutely loved it! We spent most of our time at the house outdoors. Morning coffee on the front porch. Nightcap and star gazing down by the fire pit! Breakfast on the deck! It was a perfect home base for us to explore the hiking, the wineries, breweries and distilleries nearby. We will be back!
