Welcome to the heart of the Catskills. Our 5 bedroom cottage is located in Ferndale just 2hrs drive from NYC. Offering beauty and tranquility every season, we invite you to unwind & reconnect with nature.

The home is newly updated with stylish considerations, while still preserving a rustic charm.

Less than 20 minutes from Livingston Manor, Bethel, & 30 from Callicoon and Narrowsburg, stay put on our private lake or explore the many gems the Catskills has to offer.

The space
This is a 2-story home on a tranquil lake that's great for swimming and non-motorized boating. The first floor includes a bedroom with Queen, full bath, home theatre, laundry, and an extra bedroom with trundle that converts to a Euro King and a desk for working. On the second floor you will enjoy lake views, from the fireplace, living room, dining, kitchen, and screened-in porch. Additionally, you'll find 3 bedrooms, 2 Queens and 1 King and two baths. First bath offers tub and shower, second a standing shower.

We have both A/C and heat so the home is comfortable all seasons. A/C is available in the living room and one of the upstairs bedrooms. Heat is installed throughout the house. Extra blankets and pillows are located in bedroom closets.

Our kitchen is well-stocked and dining table large enough to comfortably accommodate eight. We also have dining and lounging available on the screened in porch and Adirondack chairs for set up on the dock and lawn. Off of the porch are two decks, one with a gas grill and the other with a small dining area. Please make yourselves at home.

(Additionally, we have included in the downstairs bedroom closet a pack-n play w/ changing table option, high-chair, and swim float for infants. We hope you find everything you will need for an enjoyable stay on our charming lake.)
Guest access
While you are here, the house is yours and we ask that you treat it as such. You will have full lake access from our private dock and an additional beach to the left of our home which is shared by the community. Also, there is a communal dock that is floating in the middle of the lake during Summer months. The house has parking that can fit 4 cars which will be available to you. Laundry room is available for guest and all other spaces in the home. This includes 5 bedrooms, three bathrooms, a home theatre, 2 living rooms which are adjoined, dining room and kitchen. There is a connected porch with two small decks and the house has a small front and back lawn you are welcome to enjoy.
Other things to note
FedEx and UPS will drop items at the front door. If you are planning to send items via USPS to the house during your stay, we have a post box in town. The post office is about 5 min away and they will hold parcels for 2 weeks. We can provide you with a key if you will be needing USPS delivery.

Our dock is at a shallower part of lake. The lake gets about 6 to 8 feet deep in its deepest spot. We provide inner tubes and three boats for your use -- a dingy with oars and two sit-on-top kayaks.
