Sun Drenched Lakefront Cove

Sun drenched five bedroom lakefront home, presented by StayBettr Vacation Rentals, with a large flat backyard, dock, and outdoor activities. Indoors you will find a massive chef's kitchen with induction range, second double oven, and tons of counter space. The large recreation room downstairs comes with ping pong and foosball tables. The woodstove is great for those cold winter nights.

Large back decks and a covered lower patio to enjoy the lakefront breezes, sunsets, and stars here in the Catskills. Deck includes table seating and sun loungers. The patio under includes an outdoor kitchen, grill, and dining area. There is an outdoor firepit in the backyard.

Main Level:

Bedroom 1: King Bed, Closet, TV, Ensuite Bathroom w/ Soaking Tub

Bedroom 2: 2 Double Beds, 1 Twin (2 bunked, one twin trundle), Closet

Bedroom 3: Queen Bed, Closet

Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom with tub on the main level.

Lower Level:

Bedroom 4: Queen Bed, TV, Dresser

Bedroom 5: Queen Bed, Dresser

All spaces on the lower level share a bathroom w/ a shower.

Guest Access:



You will have access to the main house and outdoor areas including the dock. The driveway is paved and very large. Guests should not park on the street, or block the right of way to the other houses on the cove.

The Neighborhood:

Swinging Bridge Reservoir is the largest largest lake in the Sullivan Catskills, and one of the few that allows motor boats. You'll feel removed from the city, but still within 20 minutes of groceries and things to do. The neighborhood is a mix of seasonal homes and year round residents. A public boat launch is nearby, and just around the corner are two full services marinas--Starlight and Swinging Bridge Marinas.

Getting Around:



I recommend having car for your stay. Taxis are available, but ride sharing services are more sparse. Rental car services are available in Monticello. Shortline Coach Bus Service provides service between New York City and Monticello as well.



Otisville and Port Jervis Metro North Stations are each approximately 30 minutes drive from the house. The trip from NY Penn Station to Otisville is about 2 hours. Train/bus access is great if you have members of your group who need to arrive/depart at different times.

Things to Know:

You will be required to sign a rental agreement after the booking is confirmed. Full terms of the agreement are available on request. Additionally, you will be required to upload an approved government identification card or passport when you complete the rental agreement. If you have questions about either of these requirements please message us prior to booking.



Fees may apply for early check-ins, late check-outs, and additional optional services.

Up to two dogs may stay at the property. The first dog is includes in the nightly rate. The second dog incurs a $25/night fee.

No more than 4 cars allowed.

The dock is not available from early November until the lake has thawed and levels stabilize in late spring.
