Welcome to Edgewater at Long Lake.

Home was built just five feet from edge of Long Lake with panoramic views of lake and a direct view of the island. Awake to the tranquil call of the loons on the lake and end your day with stunning sunsets as the home faces west to allow for all day sun. Six person hot tub sits on main deck just steps from the shoreline.

The chef kitchen offers six burner Electrolux Icon professional grade oven. 3 drawer french door Frigidaire Professional line refrigerator and dishwasher. Home offers place setting for 15ppl and fully stocked with necessitates. Stackable LG laundry off kitchen. Kitchen affords views of the water and was totally renovated in 2022 with floating Quartz dining table with seating 8 guests and additional seating for 4 guests in great room.

Master Bedroom - King adjustable size bed with attached bath offers skylight and steam shower with bench. This room offers wrap around floor to ceiling Anderson windows/doorwall with stunning views of Long Lake.

Lakefront Queen Bedroom - One queen bed with views of Long Lake.

Studio Courtyard Queen Bedroom - One queen Bed with room for air mattress. Room offers built in desk with wireless printer. Sliding door off rear courtyard garden and skylight.

Lakeside Patio Bedroom/kids room - Room is climate controlled with stunning views of Long Lake. Trundle bed can be made into King or Two Twin beds. Room offers wet bar with refigerator, microwave and bar sink. Great room for the kids with flat panel TV.

This was, by far, the loveliest home we have stayed in. Our host, Bill, has an eye for comfort and detail. He met us at the property, walked us through some of the basics, showed us how to control the hot tub, and gave us recommendations for places to eat and shop and things to do in the area. The kitchen was certainly a cook's delight! We had all we needed and more to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable and inviting after a day of adventure. We enjoyed the nice hot tub and the wonderful fireplace. This home was quiet, comfortable, and simply beautiful! We hope to make this an annual trip. Thank you, Bill!!

Excellent Winter Retreat

Our stay at the property could not have gone better. Bill was a gracious and welcoming host, and gave us a personal tour. The home itself is beautiful, with fantastic views of the lake and an incredible kitchen. My friends and I are already talking about going back!

Long Lake Dream House

Accommodations were amazing! Host (Bill) is amazing too! Comfy Beds, fully stocked kitchen, very nice furnishings along with towels sheets etc. The sunset view, pontoon boat rental and hot tub put this vacation destination at the top of our list, we will be back!

Great Lake front property!

This property was the ideal lakefront property! The host has the home stocked with snacks and spotless clean when you arrive. The property is very pet friendly making it easy for my wife and I to bring our dog. We loved the views from the deck overlooking the lake. Great place!

Absolutely perfect family home

We loved our time at Bill's lake house! It is perfectly situated on beautiful long lake. We rented his pontoon for the week as well and went tubing, fishing, and spent time on the sand bar near the island. Our young adult children were so happy with the layout and we all loved the hot tub, massive family room, and playing games at the huge kitchen island, Our dog was happy with the fenced in space in back and Bill was so sweet to include bowls, treats, and Dog beds. The grocery store and coffee shop in Hillman were handy and we spent an afternoon in Alpena which is a really pretty town right on lake Huron. Highly recommend

Lakeside Luxury and an Awesome Host

My stay at Bill's lake house was absolutely breathtaking! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning panoramic views of the lake that I simply couldn't get enough of. The modern kitchen and baths were a dream, and the comfortable bed provided a wonderful night's sleep. Cozying up by the gas fireplace was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring and working remotely. The wifi works great for virtual meetings! The hot tub provided the ultimate relaxation experience under the starry sky. There were also thoughtful touches like the delicious snacks and welcome treats – a delightful surprise! The entire place was impeccably clean, making my stay even more enjoyable. (Our family business is in the commercial cleaning industry and I know about "clean.") What tied all this together, though, was the gracious, thoughtful, and kind host. Thanks, Bill, for making my stay as perfect as it could be. You've raised the bar for my future vacay stay expectations. I certainly hope to return to this lakeside paradise!

Perfect rental experience, awesome host!! This property definitely ticked all the boxes!!

Property owner answered all questions quickly. Met at the property to show how hot tub, steam shower, a/c and fireplace worked. Property is very clean and well stocked with many items that other properties don't consider-multiple coffee makers and flavors of coffee, toaster oven, waffle maker, plentiful snacks and bottled water. Had a nice 1 car garage/gym that I could park in. Grounds very well taken care of-lots of flowers, trees and plants. Deck and deck furniture new and very enjoyable to sit and enjoy the lake. Inside was clean and welcoming. Great room with fireplace had awesome lake views, master bedroom with adjustable Serta mattress was so comfortable, office/bedroom was convenient for our realtor friend who joined us to work/sleep in. Kitchen had very high end quality appliances. Sheets were very comfortable on all beds and bathrooms were stocked with plentiful shower gels/shampoos for both men and women (not many hosts think of things like this) Outdoor firepit was fun to use. Had a swing and outdoor seats with perfect lake views. Bill even took us on a boat ride one night and we all had a lot of fun. This was exactly what I truly needed-rest/relaxation and a great setting. The town had a great pizza spot and in nearby Alpena had a great steak dinner one night. House had lots of light and definitely could tell Bill takes a lot of pride in providing a high-quality experience. A

I have spent summers on this lake for 50+ years. I grew up in Troy Michigan and my family was in education so we spent June, July and August on the lake as a family. This home is new the rental market this year as my aunt and uncle have decided to move south. The home has been completely remodeled over the last 10 years with 3 additions being added that take advantage of its close proximity to the lake. The home sits on the edge of Long Lake which allow for easy access to the boat and waters edge. The sandy bottom and is 'weed free' for easy swimming for adults and kids. The lake has long been known as one of the cleanest lakes in Michigan mentioned in an article by the Detroit News.

What makes this property unique

The home is the of the closest to the edge of the lake and is situated just 5 feet for the shoreline. This allows you stunning views and easy access to the lake. It is great to kids and seniors as you only have to walk 25 steps from porch to be on the dock and boat.
