Built in 1903, this lovely home faces Green Lake Park in one of Seattle's friendliest close-in neighborhoods. The house is just a few steps away from the lake. Several restaurants and cafes, the Great Hall at Green Lake, Woodland Park Zoo & markets are also within walking distance. Several bus routes provide easy access to downtown, the Seattle Center and the University of Washington.
The Lake House is ideal for large groups looking to experience Seattle. It's easy to spend a quiet day exploring the surrounding neighborhood or shuttle downtown for an exciting tour of the classic sights. A large, fenced-in backyard and patio provide a great spot for summer grilling and the house is stocked with all necessary kitchen gadgetry. Sit in the sunroom and watch Seattleites play frisbee at the lake, or relax in the livingroom discussing the day's plans.
The upstairs contains 1 full bath and 3 bedrooms- 1 single bed and 2 queen beds. The main floor houses the kitchen, breakfast bar, livingroom, sunroom, diningroom, entryway and 1 full bathroom. Finally, downstairs is 1 bedroom (queen), 1 full bathroom, 1 futon bed in the small living room area, small tv room, and a washer/dryer room.

Our family loves to travel- Europe, Asia, anywhere! So we understand what makes for a great vacation. Goofy photos of the kids, unforgettable urban scenes, tasting something completely new, and most importantly, reflection time. We hope to make your stay in Seattle as amazing as ours have been around the globe.
The Owner purchased this house in 2000
We've lived in the Green Lake neighborhood for 25 years and have loved every minute of it. It's such a great family environment, with plenty to do, and quick access to the other great neighborhoods of Seattle.
The Lake House retains a lot of the classic character from when it was built in 1903, but was significantly remodeled in 2015. Additionally, its location right on the lake makes it easy to take a morning stroll while the sun rises. Only a few blocks away are quaint Green Lake shops, cafes and restaurants.
We were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful home for my sister's Seattle wedding in the summer of 2011. The location was quiet and convenient. It is in easy walking distance to a fun playground and children's swimming area. The kids had lots of open park space to explore. The house was enormous, and had a lovely charm, with nice sitting areas and park views. It has a fairly large dining room table, and cute kitchen. Ample street parking. Overall a wonderful stay.
This was a terrific location for a reunion of old friends with families. Everything about this house met or exceeded our expectations. Those of us who stayed there found comfortable rooms and the shared space was perfect for our potluck and grilling with lots of room for the kids to play and enjoy. The kitchen was the best provisioned I have encountered in a rental home and the owners were generous with their time and advice including a very detailed tour on arrival. Of course the location across from the lake is also ideal. Lots of time spent walking and talking around beautiful Green Lake.
In short - everything we were looking for in our home base for our reunion. Many, many thanks to the owners for maintaining such a great place - we loved it!
This house was perfect for our reunion. We loved hanging out at the lake and enjoying Seattle activities. The new deck and kitchen are great. The owners are very gracious and I have never seen such a well-stocked pantry in a vacation rental.
We were fortunate enough to rent this house for a week in August, 2014. It is a comfortable home on Green Lake with easy access to not only all that the Lake has to offer but easy access by car or bus to various parts of the city as well the airport. The house has copious amounts of sleeping space as well as room for entertaining. It is undergoing a renovation of the garage and rear area of the house, the owner was gracious in making sure that we were not affected by the renovation. We highly recommend this as a location for anyone new to the city due to the central location and for a wonderful spot for people watching. We were there for warm sunny weather and folks came to Green Lake to run, ride bikes, swim, paddle board and kayak.
We were spending the holidays in Seattle and were delighted to arrive to a holiday-decorated home with a very well-stocked kitchen. Quaint and comfortable older home with a lot of character and in a terrific location! Truly enjoyable stay!
We've enjoyed our extended stay at this comfortable home in the perfect Seattle location. The home's flow and spaces allow for small or large groups to come together. Being just across from one of Seattle's hottest attractions (Greenlake) is a big plus! Loved taking walks to the lake, park, pool, library and cafes. The fenced yard would be great in the summer and provides a retreat feel. The garage adds convenience, especially on the rainy days. The beds were comfortable. Enough kitchen gear to function for extended stays. Some noise from Greenlake Dr, but not bad. Safe feeling neighborhood. Alyson has been kind and accommodating. Highly recommended! Thank you!!!
