Clearwater House is located on Boggy Sand Road, one of the elite addresses in Grand Cayman due to it being a cul-de-sac road that is primarily lined with single family homes (not condos). Located at the north end of Seven Mile Beach, Boggy Sand Road is just 3-5 miles from great restaurants, shopping, and resort hotels.

The heated private pool is by far one of the most popular guest amenities because families can enjoy swimming even after the sun goes down.

Notes on Public Beach Access:
Clearwater House is one of the few private home available for short-term rental with proximity to Seven Mile Beach restaurants and amenities. Even though the public beach access closest to the house can hard to navigate, other prime locations are a short drive or walk and there is a sea wall sandy beach very close or walk to Cemetery Beach. The Boggy Sands Rd location is one of the best on the island.

Please inquire if you have any questions. Property Manager is occasionally on site in the separate garage apartment but does not interfere with guest enjoyment of house/grounds/pool.

Eight of us stayed here...all adults. It was a perfect mixture of relaxation and spending time at the beach and pool, plus ease of getting to restaurants and shopping with a quick car ride. (Although Heritage Kitchen is a short walk away and probably the best seafood on the island!). We were glad not to be in the thick of 7 mile island along with its crowds and cruise traffic.The house has everything you could ever need. The kitchen is stocked with all the cookware you could want; the coffee bar is handy; there are tons of games and books, and the gym is beyond amazing with every amenity.One quick note...the main floor bedroom does not have a closet. Otherwise, the bedrooms were super comfy, clean, and beautifully decorated!We would absolutely come back to this house if we stayed on the island again. Communication with Kathy was easy and quick.

Great stay!

Great stay at Boggy Sands Road. Walkable distance to a grocery store, the beach is just down the street for great sunset views, the pool is wonderful and always warm for a refreshing dip, or just lounging poolside. We chose this beautiful property for the amenities…nice to have a grill for cookouts and a kitchen to cook meals. Very secluded feeling, and property was very quiet aside from a party down the street one night. Hammocks were wonderful for an extra outdoor chill space. Kathy was a huge help with any questions we had regarding the property or things to do on the island and emailed a detailed list about the house, amenities and what to pack, what’s in the area for grocery stores, resources for charters, etc. Only thing I would say is it may be helpful to have a printout of all the info sent online in a book/binder at the property. Would definitely stay here again…they take pride in making sure guests are taken care of. Kathy has an appreciation for the island that is contagious! Until next time…thank you!

Wonderful Family Trip

This house is great for a family trip. We had 9 people and had plenty of space. The heated pool, ping pong, hammocks and spacious living area, kitchen, and outdoor area were the highlights. Overall spectacuar trip! Would come back.

Cayman house with all the extras

This property has it all! The kids loved the warm pool, the parents loved sipping coffee in our robes each morning, taking a cold plunge, back to the pool, lifting weights, taking walks by the beach, playing basketball, making dinner on the blacktop, etc. The location is perfect and right across the street from the ocean. We swam and snorkeled daily. Kathy and the owners had exceptional communication and are incredibly accommodating. Overall, it was an amazing experience. They even had the house tastefully decorated for the holidays. It was very comfortable and a perfect place to gather. We highly recommend this property. Thank you Kathy!

Fabulous 2 weeks at Clearwater House

We spent a delightful couple of weeks in West Bay, initially celebrating my 70th birthday and then exploring the island's incredible range of attractions. The house had everything, from heated swimming pool to gas barbecue and pizza oven, from table tennis table to indoor gym. It is also situated close to a nice beach with great snorkelling and rock pooling and the Heritage Kitchen, a small shack selling the best home-cooked mahi-mahi and lobster, best enjoyed with a beer whilst watching the sun set. It really could not have better. Kathy, the host, was always just a WhatsApp message away and the one issue we had (aircon failure) was sorted immediately. Fatima, the housekeeper, was also most helpful and looked after the children on one occasion whilst we had an evening out in George Town. We found a great small boat hire (Cachas Stewart aka Super C -Jah Bless Charters) for fishing and trips to the Stingray sandbar and coral reefs. Best beaches were Smith's Cove and Rum Point, in addition of course to Seven Mile Beach. Above all the people are so friendly and eager to help, even more so than other Caribbean islands we have visited. Can't wait until I'm 80 and have an excuse to return! Highly recommended.

Surpassed all Expectations

This property is very special. Close enough to the attractions while secluded to provide privacy. The hosts did not miss any amenities. Paddle boards, bikes, kayaks and top end appliances. The heated pool was a real bonus and we will talk about the She Shed for years.

Perfect Caribbean getaway

We were originally scheduled to be in the Cayman Islands the summer of 2020 to celebrate our oldest daughter’s graduation from high school. Unfortunately, the world shut down and our trip was canceled. We postponed for three years to 2023 and also timed out to celebrate our younger daughter’s graduation from high school. The beautiful Clearwater house fit us perfectly, our party of eight (our family of 5+3 well mannered boyfriends). Kathy set us up perfectly with all the right recommendations to maximize everything the island had the offer. The house was very clean, the pool and gazebo area are incredible. I loved using the handheld weights a few mornings and got all the kids to do water aerobics at one point. The kitchen is well appointed with nothing missing (we did sharpen the knives to ensure our limes were cleanly cut :)) I would highly recommend this comfortable and perfectly located home to a party of 8-10.

Kathy’s help is priceless!

This was our families first trip to Cayman. With children ranging in age from 7-19, we wanted to make sure everyone had plenty to do! Kathy is such a valuable resource. The reviews don’t begin to describe how much easier she makes planning a trip. We felt like we had a friend in Cayman the entire trip. She even found us after we checked out to return some stuffed animals we left behind. We rent through VRBO at least once a year and have never had this great of an experience! We can’t wait to return to Cayman and will certainly stay at this house again!

Clearwater House is fantastic. We were only able to stay a few days but it was truly amazing - long story of having to move accommodations but glad we did because once we arrived our vacation was finally perfect. So close to the beach, fab pool (heated !!), grill, ping pong, nice sheets, awesome beds too. For a family you can’t ask for a better time. I know we will be back because our kids had such a great time and will be talking about it for years. They couldn’t believe the snorkeling - Thanks Kathy!

We love the Clearwater House!

Our family absolutely LOVED spending Christmas this year at Clearwater House in Grand Cayman! Not only was the house incredibly clean and beautifully decorated, but there were just so many extra little things that really made our stay wonderful. Our family especially appreciated the privacy of the property. We spent so much time outside by the pool, having outdoor dinners, and playing ping pong tournaments in the gazebo. And the famous Seven Mile Beach was just a short walk up the driveway and across the street. The snorkeling was amazing! We were very close to the Kimpton hotel which has a COVID testing center so it was easy to get our tests done while we were there. The house is also located near a pharmacy and a grocery store which was very convenient. We cooked some of our meals at home and I was thrilled with the kitchen. It had everything I needed and then some. We also visited some great restaurants that were only a short drive away. Overall, we just loved spending time in this home. We have 8 in our family, and we had plenty of space. I can’t say there was anything I would change about our experience at Clearwater House. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous House for a 50th Girls Getaway!

Perfect home for a a college reunion weekend to celebrate our milestone bday year! The house was updated, clean and decorated beautifully. Kathy took excellent care of us - checking in on us throughout the weekend, offering rides and even taking a few of us out snorkeling. The house had plenty of room for the 9 of us with a well-equipped kitchen for cooking. It is a very short walk to the beach access road - and the beach is quiet and secluded. We easily walked down beach to eat/shop at some of the hotels on 7 mile beach but there are also dining options closer to house - or within a short cab ride. Kathy had some great dining suggestions! We LOVED our visit to Grand Cayman and hope to be back soon!

Our FAVORITE place just got better - loved Clearwater House!

This was our 4th trip to Grand Cayman, a place we truly love, and first time renting a home versus staying in a resort. It was the absolute best experience. The house is perfect, well appointed and immaculate. Everything is top notch from the amenities provided to the care and attention you receive from the owner. Kathy went above and beyond in a way we could not anticipate - offering babysitting services, picking up dinner for us if we got lazy and wanted to stay in and directing us to the best places and experiences we had. The beach is a true 2-3 minute walk and you cannot beat the privacy. Compared to a resort this was a true island experience of peace and tranquility. The supermarket and liquor store are around the corner, 3-4 minute drive and have everything you'd need. You can walk to Heritage Kitchen in 2 minutes and have the days freshest catch 5 different way. You will not regret your stay at the Clearwater House - our party of 7 had the best time, plenty of room and just wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back!

Clearwater House is family home that is owner occupied during most of the year and rented to short-term visitors during holidays and summer when children are out of school. Occasionally, the house manager will be on site in the garage apartment but this does not interfere with guests enjoyment of the house, pool & grounds.
