This is a place where my family and I made great memories and you can do the same.
Your dealing directly with me the owner ...
I will do everything I can to make your stay enjoyable.
Very central to everthing.
Only steps from the beach and pool, this unit had the access we were looking for. 3 sizable bedrooms with their own bathrooms is a plus. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars to this property is that it could use some updating. Don't get me wrong everything was exceptionally cared for and clean. However, an overall updating of this this property would be a good move at some point in the future. Still the same we would stay there again with out any changes. Several personal touches by the owner and her associates were greatly appreciated, including a walk through upon arrival and multiple texts to make sure we contacted her if we needed anything. If you like a peaceful, quiet beach with a clean, well cared for condo, don't wait. Book it today!
The condo has a beautiful view, is spacious and convenient to the Beach Club pool overlooking the beach. The condo is nice, comfortable bedding, sufficiently equipped, perhaps a little updating is needed, but overall nice and I would rent again. Jeni is very nice and responsive. Thank you for the opportunity to rent the unit. I would rate as a 4.5 overall.
We were very happy with the townhouse. It had everything we needed (I wish we had not brought all of our own chairs and umbrellas) and every family member had plenty of space during our stay. Jeni was super accommodating, too. You can't go wrong with staying here on your well deserved vacation!
We were six adults, one infant, three generations on vacation together. Our host was generous and accommodating, we felt that if we needed anything, it would be taken care of immediately, though we didn't really need anything that wasn't already provided upon arrival (except for a few nits that I'll mention). The A/C worked well, we had no problem maintaining a comfortable inside temp. A high chair and 'pack n play' were provided that worked perfectly for the infant among us.
Perfect Site: Beach front w/2nd floor and 3rd floor, 180 degree views of the beach and ocean. Next door to a great, private, pool with a snack bar for lunches, treats, and margaritas (hard to improve on that). The pool also has plenty of shaded areas for when you've had enough sun.
Perfect Location: A few miles from the town of Fernandina, which is a wonderful, historic, upscale town with no end of great restaurants, diners, bars, and shops. Drive to town, park and walk from one end to the other. We had outstanding meals/dining experiences at Le Clos and 29 South. The Condo is also virtually next door to the Ritz-Carlton with a very fun and lively bar. We stopped by there one night and enjoyed drinks, people watching, and dancing to live music. The Condo, being away from town was very quiet at night. We all slept very well. Another location convenience, Harris Teeter, a great grocery store, is less than a mile away with a liquor store next door to it.
The beach is a great, white sand, Florida beach, warm water (in the low 80's at the end of June), easy access though a bit of a walk over a wood bridge that spans a protected dune area which we have found to be pretty typical in North Florida.
The Condo is very well laid out, we had three adult couples but never felt cramped or a lack of privacy. The kitchen is well stocked though tight for more than one cook. Sitting out on the deck with a cup of coffee, watching the sun rise, weather developing on the horizon, or dolphins cruising the shoreline for breakfast, is the epitome of vacation for me.
Just a few nits that didn't rise to the level of contacting the owner about:
- some wear and tear was evident in areas, cracked tile, some stains here and there, the refer leaked a little water, etc.
- the beach equipment is limited for adults, 5 beat up beach chairs (for six adults), and two umbrellas at the end of their service life. The beach towels were sized more for children.
Overall, we'd definitely return.
Just returned from a terrific week at Jeni's townhome in Amelia Island. The gated property is in an excellent location, just south of the Ritz Carlton. We spent a lot of time each day on the beautiful beach and in the condo's awesome pool. We also enjoyed watching all of the turtles crawling around in the dunes between the townhome and the beach. We took advantage of the bike trails on the island, especially along the "canopied" roads right outside the condo. The townhome itself is spacious and very clean, and well appointed with everything needed for a great vacation. The owner was accessible and very responsive to any of our questions & needs. We will definitely book again on our next trip to Amelia. Highly recommended.
This was a great stay! Beautiful location right on the water. Evenings on the porch were the best with a perfect breeze. Access to the pool was great!
Lots of small details made our stay so much easier - with two kids. High chair, pack n play, beach toys, kids cups, pantry full of spices and fridge with condiments. Awesome!!
