Welcome to Rustic Log Retreat on Eleven Acres which sleeps 24. Nestled in a serene and secluded setting, our authentic log home offers the perfect escape. Enjoy picturesque views of a beautiful pond, and ultimate relaxation. Inside, you’ll find cozy rustic charm with modern amenities and games for entertainment. Come unwind and make lasting memories at our beautiful log cabin on over eleven acres! Parties prohibited unless approved. There is a barn with Pickleball court, tables and chairs to accommodate 70 people, movie theater, two fridges, bar counter and additional TV, fans lights etc. This is rented for a separate price.

The property was well maintained with adequate space for large groups. We had a great time and would come back again to stay at this property. Plenty of parking, rooms were large and comfortable, all furniture was in great shape and the property had lots of parking. Great place!

If space and tranquility are more important than thoughtfulness, this is your place. The property is beautifully and peacefully placed in the middle of a farm region. This is our 19th annual trip so we are rental veterans. At first all looked fine, but as we started interacting with the property, we quickly were made aware of the lack of detail and cleanliness. We walked in and the first thing we see is broken window mullions sitting by the fireplace. When we tried to use the microwave, the door and front of the entire unit literally almost fell off in our hands. There was only one hinge holding it on. The windows were dirty, there was an extreme lack of garbage cans, no bags, and the exterior garbage was a 1/8th mile away. We had to stack our trash in the garage after buying garbage bags. There was little if any cleaning supplies. the sponges and rags in the kitchen stink, stank stunk. Then we tried to cook dinner. The grill was caked, pretty disgusting. There were four propane containers...all empty. Reminder, this house was 3,500 for three nights. There were no grilling tools...not true, sorry, there was a tong...not tongs, a one legged tong. The rooms were technically furnished beds and a light. The place lacked useable furniture. Especially a huge house that touts sleeping over 20. Outdoor furniture would be nice for sure. There are a couple chairs, but if you have a party of 10 or more, bring your own.This property has potential, but needs a lot.

Beautiful, clean, easy to get to and check in. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. All rooms beautiful decorated. I left with the following feeling: I am coming back for sure!!!!

The house and grounds were great, but there were a few issues. The eighth “bedroom” was a couch in a living area, so not really a bedroom. The well water, was ell water, so you will want to be sure to take lots of bottled water. The theater room in the photos is only available at an extra charge. This is in the details, but I missed it. This is only added as a need to know. The house was really great for a family Christmas and we had a great time.

Pleasant Family Get-Together

We had a great time with family at this big house! The house has lots of interesting bits to be discovered, and if it hadn’t rained the whole time we were there, we’d have loved to explore outside as well. A bit more lighting would be helpful. The website could use more clarity, but communication with the owner was good.

Great place for families! very close to being 5 stars

The property was great! Close to Columbus, yet secluded. Plenty of places to sleep, large rooms, and kitchen space. The garage was our favorite! We would recommend it for families or large friend groups. The reason we gave 4 stars and not 5 was for a couple of minor things. We didn't receive Check-In or Check-Out instructions until we requested it the day of and the instructions were incomplete. One bedroom listed is a futon next to a kitchen, we didn't mind but it's not a bedroom. There were a lot of bugs, an outlet cover was missing, and there was still trash in the yard when we arrived. Again all minor, but we don't feel accurate in saying this is a 5-star stay yet, but it will be soon!
