This is a private development in a residential neighborhood.
6 restaurants in walking distance on the historical town square with excellent food and service! A statue of Civil War General William S. Rosecran sits with honor on the Northeast Corner of the town square.

We only needed it to get ready in for my daughter's wedding at a nearby campground. All of the girls came over to get dressed and do makeup and hair. Access was easy and it was quiet and just what we needed.

Weekend stay

This place was great for a couple of friends from out of town to have a comfortable stay away from home. Close to restaurants and area attractions.

Beware! I was terribly disappointed in the apartment that I had rented, it was below VRBO standards! I had rented for 5 night's, only stayed 1 night! Left for numerous reasons, it was in a cold basement, heard people upstairs, dangerous entrance, only 1 of 2 TVs worked, could not access WiFi, lacked in cleanliness, kitchen/frig were a mess with leftover food, I just didn't feel safe, reported to the host! Communication with the host was poor! Asked for refund for last 4 nights, not heard from host since!

Gem in a Quiet Neighborhood

My friend and I had a great stay and the location was very peaceful. Very close to drug stores, restaurants and grocery stores. The rental was clean and owner was very quick in responding to my questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Good value

First time staying at Nicks, and we stayed three nights. The apartment is clean, pleasant, and a good value. We had fast, helpful communication with the host and no problems during our stay.

Cozy space

The property is very clean. Nick is very responsive and communicative. The beds are comfortable which is a big deal! I would rent this place again.

Traveling for work

This was a great little place. There are steep stairs going down. So if you have a problem with stairs you may want to consider somewhere else. Had a nice stay.

A four night stay as family gathered for the graduation of a Berlin Bear on May 21st ==> also attended Saturday's Berlin Bear Lacrosse playoff game. Location (Sunbury) was within six miles of gathering place (Galena) and as accommodating as any local hotel/motel

Sunburn Apartment

2 year staying here for a short 3 nights to attend a Non-profit group fundraiser. The apartment is a short walk to all the food downtown and 5 minute drive to the grocery store and other chain restaurants and ice cream. Very clean and provides all things needed to eat in and cook along with the full size washer and dryer. Comfortable, very quiet and private. I highly recommend this apartment for stays in Sunbury at a great price!

Mostly ok

Nice quiet neighborhood a short walk from the town center. The stairs down to the apartment were not the best for 70 somethings. Will need to be more aware the next time we rent. Also, missed having paper towels and tissues!

Very clean. Needs a few attention points. Some old burnt cooking pots can be discarded. My towel has seen better days. Towels were like sandpaper.

Business Trip

Nice neighborhood and quiet. Shower is a little small and I couldn't adjust the temperature but I didn't ask to either. The entrance is very steep and that was a surprise. Overall it was very nice.

This spot was great! Very cozy and in a nice quiet neighborhood. It had everything I needed and provided a great spot to come home and relax after a long day of adventures. Visiting with friends was made so much better having a spot like this to hang out in. Owner was also incredibly generous and nice. He was patient with us even if our group got a bit loud at night (board games like Catan and Uno got us going lol). Overall this is an amazing spot to be. Absolutely 0 complaints and would be excited to come back again!!

We were visiting family in Newark. This was a nice space to come to after a long day. The stairs and the front door were a little bit of a challenge, but overall everything was great, and Nick was super accommodating.

Weekend stay -- Nice Area

Enjoyed our stay in the area. Downtown Sunbury is super quaint town and the house is close enough to walk. Nick's place met out basic needs -- Beds were comfortable and house is in a quiet area. Didnt use wifi, kitchen appliances (except for coffee maker) or W&D so can't comment. Be sure to bring your own toiletries (shampoo and soap) and bottled water or coffee/tea/sugar (if you need that first thing in the morning like we do). Very little natural lighting (not a walkout basement) but we didn't mind cause we were only there in the late evenings... But just adding that in case its important to you.
