This place was perfect! Close enough but secluded. House was set up great for us. Hot tub was perfect, kitchen supported cooking all meals. 15 minutes to all the popular hiking spots.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely cabin to celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary! We only had one issue with the drive not being plowed. Once reaching out the issue was resolved immediately and we were offered a complementary late check out. The cabin was beautiful, cleaned and stocked with everything we would need. All amenities were working as well. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin is fantastic. It is remote and private and has all you need inside for an enjoyable stay. It was clean. The owners were responsive. We ordered firewood and a s’mores kit and had a blast in the hot tub and playing games. I would definitely stay here again.

Rest Easy was the perfect secluded getaway for our family! The hot tub was great for relaxing, and the pool table kept everyone entertained. The kids loved their camp-style bunk room, and the two master bedrooms and 3.5 baths made our stay extra comfortable. The peaceful location was exactly what we needed to unplug, unwind, and enjoy quality time together. If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-appointed retreat, this cabin is a fantastic choice!

Great place for all ages

The cabin was great for a multi-generational family vacation - something for everyone! It wasn't as well appointed as other rentals (too few dishes, for example) and the floors seemed hastily cleaned between guests, but nothing that would stop us from booking in the future. The property description did not mention a washer and dryer, which were there (a big plus for us) and there is only a k-cup coffee maker so plan ahead!

We did Rest Easy

The cabin was exactly as described. Settled in a remote location, we took advantage of all the amenities including the fire pit, jacuzzi, pool table, and grill. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms modern. We could easily get to everywhere we needed within Hocking Hills and were only 15 minutes from a store. Rest Easy allowed us to have a fantastic spring break vacation without a worry.

Place was nice but unfortunately basement TV that was the most spacious area for hanging out (near pool table, etc.) didn't work, fireplace didn't work and no general instructions on heating units which had to have synced settings in order to work. Cold first night until we called and were given instructions on how to get the heating units to work. All contributing frustrations listed above made the stay less than ideal.

The house was absolutely gorgeous. Perfect relaxing weekend getaway. We loved the finished basement. Finding it was a bit more complicated than it needed to be. Signs at the bottom of the driveway by the road would eliminate this. The jets on the hot tub did not work. We 100% will be back with family or friends.

The cabin was consistent with the photos—spacious, clean overall, and nice. We stayed one night with 8 eleven-year-old girls for a birthday celebration. The highlight they were most excited about was the hot tub, which unfortunately turned out to be a major disappointment.Upon arrival, the hot tub appeared very dirty. There was hair and a hair tie at the bottom, the waterline rim was brown, and there was an unidentified liquid on the side of the tub that some thought could have been vomit. I immediately called the number provided at check-in to request that the hot tub be cleaned again. I was told it had been sanitized the day before our arrival.Despite our concerns, the children and one adult used the hot tub that evening and again the next morning. Several hours later, the children and the adult developed a skin infection. This strongly suggests the hot tub was not properly sanitized.If you have no interest in using the hot tub, you may enjoy your stay here. However, based on our experience, the hot tub was not safe to use.

Thank you for your feedback and for noting that the cabin itself met your expectations and we’re sorry to hear the hot tub experience did not. The hot tub was serviced and sanitized prior to arrival. When concerns were shared, our team immediately requested photos so we could properly assess the situation and send the appropriate service technician. Unfortunately, photos were not provided during the stay, which limited our ability to evaluate or address the concern at that time. We do want to note that the hot tub continued to be used during the stay after the concerns were raised. Had photos been shared when requested, we would have been able to respond promptly and take corrective action if needed. We always encourage guests to contact us right away and share details so any issues can be addressed as quickly as possible. We appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to clarify our process for future guests.
