Our accommodations exceeded our expectations. We had everything we needed for our stay. The location is peaceful and the outdoor areas were delightful. The kids had plenty to keep them entertained.

Beautiful Cabin!

We visited Branson to celebrate his 16th birthday with friends. It was the perfect location and the house was exactly what we needed. The bedroom with bunkers was perfect for a group of kids to hang out and despite the other houses nearby, the woods make it feel separated. The pool is within walking distance and everything we wanted to do was a short drive away. The folks at RentBranson were on top of things and made sure I had all the information to get checked in. We utilized their one free ticket to go to Silver Dollar City. 5/5 stars!

Great place to stay with family (kids and grandparents)!

It’s close enough to all the main Branson stuff, but far enough away to feel like a log cabin in the woods. We enjoyed the shared splash pad / pool area, as well as several kids play areas. They were serving free hot dogs and s’mores at one of the pools on July 4th! The private hot tub was wonderful. We appreciated that each room had its own bathroom. The communicate with the staff via text was very easy. We look forward to visiting again!

Not as expected

The picture showed level entry-it was not- my disabled husband had a hard time walking to and from the entrance. The walk in shower was dirty and the floor was cracked. The hot tub was a cloudy mess and the pool didn't open until the day before we left. The kitchen oven door was a terrible mess.Topping it off-bats were nesting above the exterior door which meant lots of bat droppings just outside the door.

Great Getaway Place!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Big Trout Lodge! If you like a rustic, lodge-style place, you will love it. It was perfect for our group - three couples - because we each had a King bedroom with our own bathroom. It also had a bunk room that we didn't use and a 4th bathroom. We would definitely stay again if we go back.

Wonderful family weekend getaway!

We had the best time staying at this cabin! The location is great and close to lots of attractions. The property manager was incredibly responsive and helped us with any questions we had upon arrival and throughout our stay. Thanks to Rebecca and Rick for getting us extra firewood so our kids could have s’mores! We would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful holiday get-away!

My husband, father-in-law, sister-in-law, and I just spent three lovely nights in this cabin that had all the comforts of home. We loved having three ensuite king bedrooms as well as the well-stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly!

Cute cabin, fell short on cleanliness

We really liked this cute cabin, and would rate it better, except for the fact that it was not clean. From the online guestbook we saw before even arriving - “especially throughout the summer, you may notice some residue on the floors transferring onto your feet..when the concrete outside heats up..makes its way inside. We thoroughly clean the floors between each guest and periodically steam clean them.” – We did not stay in summer months. We arrived Dec. 4th and departed Dec. 6th. This was not a residue, especially because there is no concrete, wood front deck, composite wood back deck, gravel driveway. This was a lack of cleaning floors. Black feet & dark socks after just a few hours. Cobwebs in the ceiling joist. Dust bunnies around the edges of the main living area. Something spilled in the fridge & not cleaned up. Previous guest personal belongings under a bed (found when trying to make sure a floor vent was open because the bedroom was so cold) Hot tub had debris in all the seats. The game loft had no balls for foosball or ping pong, but there were a few ping pong balls in the light fixtures. Should provide dark washcloths if fees occur from using washcloths if no other way to remove makeup. All the rules on signs throughout the cabin should be in a central location for all guests to see, not just some rooms. As well as fireplace rules not high on the mantel hid behind decor. Fix the flaws, clean it, & it'd be a wonderful place to stay. I still recommended it to others.

Perfect Holiday Location

I thought Big Trout Lodge was better than the photos. We had a lot of different needs in our group - adults and an adult with autism, children, and a toddler. The cabin gave us all our own space and it was nice to be just a short drive away from 76 country blvd. The hot tub was a huge hit. We will be back next year!

Nice Girls Trip…So Comfy!

It was a short stay of only two nights but we loved the comfy and warm accommodations. Loved the decor and took advantage of the awesome “ready-to-go” hot tub. We also enjoyed relaxing on the back patio in the mornings. Highly recommend!

Solid cabin, plenty of room for our crew

Solid cabin for our 5 adults. Definitely room for more as the one room has 4 bunk beds. 3 rooms with king beds if I'm not mistaken. Close to Big Cedar, Table Rock lake, 12-15 minutes from the strip. We come to Branson each year and always look forward to the experience. This is a wonderful location for a family, clean, safe, and close to everything.

BIG CEDAR 2024 FAM TRIP

Excellent house - PROs: Big-roomy-comfortable BEDS & Furniture, & close to everything. CONs: HOT TUB not acceptable & not clean. GAME ROOM LOFT poor condition of both Tables. Bathrooms need SAFETY BARS, molding in Bathrooms need cleaning along with MAIN FRIDGE. Room Darkening Curtains in MAIN BEDROOM would be helpful. Please put CUSHION on bottom of STAIRS that hang low for everyone to smack their head on…. A CUSHION will save you from a big lawsuit. A great place to stay & look forward to next visit.

Home away from home!

This property was charming and felt like a home away from home for us! We loved the cabin decor and the large stuffed bears. We all had our own space, but were also able to hang out together in the shared spaces. The private hot tub is great and the back patio is perfect for a morning cup of coffee! There was some mold/mildew on the shower curtains and tubs, but overall this was a great place to stay and the communication was awesome!

Absolutely adored this place. Within a few days we got so attachéd to this Cabin we cant wait to come back. We are making plans to come back. Such a cozy yet spacious and perfect for little ones home. Clean, accommodated and comfortable. Best Cabin we have stayed in so far. Highly recommend.
