We had a great stay. Great location, quiet and cozy but close enough to town to run to store if needed. Beautiful scenery and the kids loved the karaoke machine.

Thank you for staying with us. We hope to host your family again soon.
Right off of a river, beautiful mountain scenery, yet not far from town. The house had beautiful finishes and plenty of space for our family to enjoy each other yet still have personal space. Property owner is great communicating!
Stayed here with family and kids. House is really clean and comfortable inside. Had all the necessities. Smell was a musty but it wasnt too bad you get used to it. Only part i didnt realize when booking was that it was right on a main (but quiet) road and with little kids running around it wasnt ideal. Overall we had a really nice restful stay. Big thank you to the host for opening up their home to us.

We chose this home for a family trip to Oregon because we specifically wanted to be near water but not on the ocean. Unfortunately, upon arrival , we were disappointed to find the property not located on "our own private riverbend watering hole" as described in the listing. Instead the beach is across a well traveled road and required crossing that road, walking down a connecting road, and crossing a bridge to access a small public, well used area. Also the water is not visible from the house porch due to a roadway privacy fence. The house was satisfactory but had several small maintenance issues- tap water contained noticeable sediment (after leaving a glass of water on bedside table overnight, visible debris had settled at the bottom), hot water in one bath was extremely slow to become warm, one of the stove burners was disconnected, and only 3 ceramic coffee cups. Overall while the home met our basic needs, the discrepancies in the listing and the minor maintenance issues impacted our experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We truly appreciate it and will use your comments to help improve both the property and our listing.
We’re sorry to hear that the river access and a few aspects of the home did not meet your expectations. We’d like to clarify that the riverbend watering hole is accessible from the property’s side of the river for viewing and fishing. The sandbar is located directly across the river and is accessible by a bridge located directly in front of the house, approximately a one- to two-minute walk from the property. The sandbar is seasonal, however, and its availability depends on the amount of water flowing through the river at the time of your stay.
The home is located in a rural, nature-focused area and uses spring-fed water rather than city water. Because of this, weather conditions and heavy storms can occasionally cause natural sediment in the water. We have hosted the home at full capacity many times with minimal or no water issues, but we understand that the water quality during your stay was frustrating and apologize for the inconvenience.
We also appreciate you bringing the maintenance concerns to our attention. We will be checking the hot water, stove burner, and kitchen supplies to make sure these items are addressed.
We’re sorry that your overall experience did not meet your expectations. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention so we can continue improving the experience for future guests.
"Hey there! We're a tight-knit group of friends who've fallen head over heels for Oregon. We're all about embracing the beauty of this state and sharing our adventures with you".
