We’re sorry to hear that the river access and a few aspects of the home did not meet your expectations. We’d like to clarify that the riverbend watering hole is accessible from the property’s side of the river for viewing and fishing. The sandbar is located directly across the river and is accessible by a bridge located directly in front of the house, approximately a one- to two-minute walk from the property. The sandbar is seasonal, however, and its availability depends on the amount of water flowing through the river at the time of your stay. The home is located in a rural, nature-focused area and uses spring-fed water rather than city water. Because of this, weather conditions and heavy storms can occasionally cause natural sediment in the water. We have hosted the home at full capacity many times with minimal or no water issues, but we understand that the water quality during your stay was frustrating and apologize for the inconvenience. We also appreciate you bringing the maintenance concerns to our attention. We will be checking the hot water, stove burner, and kitchen supplies to make sure these items are addressed. We’re sorry that your overall experience did not meet your expectations.
