Welcome to Playa Azul 3 our home away from home! This modestly decorated ocean view penthouse is located steps to Luquillo Beach on a 24 hour gated community. Ocean views are seen from every window! Supermarket across the street for your convenience. Facility amenities include pool , tennis court (currently closed), paddle court, basketball court & community room which holds Sunday services if interested. No monthly renters. We have WiFi at this location. We require 48 hours in between guest for proper cleaning and disinfecting. Come to the Caribbean and enjoy!

The host, Miriam, was so responsive and helpful. The condo has unbelievable views, is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Having the beach and pool right there was great, and having Luquillo beach so close by was fantastic.

Great location, very reasonable price. The common areas of the building have not really recovered/ been repaired from Hurricane Maria in 2017. The broken door handle to the main entrance of the unit is not secure, and I recommend just using the same key for the deadbolt.Also, we were informed that the washing machine in the unit is broken and would not be replaced while we staying there (March 2026) and luckily we were able to plan accordingly with extra outfits - hopefully this will be fixed soon for future guests. The beach itself is gorgeous and had maybe only 1 friendly vendor per day coming up to you trying to make a sale. We had a wonderful stay and hopefully repairs can be made to make this place perfect.

The host was absolutely wonderful and so informative of fun ideas and educating us on the area. The accommodations were clean, well kept up, and were perfect for our family of 4. My kids enjoyed the sports equipment and boogie board. We all enjoyed the beach chairs and the wonderful beach. The only tricky thing is we discovered that the washing machine was not working when we tried to do our clothes.

Perfect location with great amenities

The condo was perfect for our family of 6. The kitchen is well stocked and across the street from a grocery store. My kids really enjoyed the pool, tennis courts, and basketball courts. And the location -- 5 minutes from Luquillo Beach, 15 to El Yunque, and easy access to the highway. Plus, you can't beat the view of the beach from the patio!

We had a wonderful stay! Our view was gorgeous and our hosts Miriam and her husband were the most helpful with everything from recommendations on restaurants to excursions-the nicest people!!!If we go back to Puerto Rico would definitely stay there again!!!

A slice of heaven

A tiny slice of heaven right on the beach. Perfect location for our family holiday. The pool, basketball and tennis courts we my kids favorite. I loved drinking coffee watching the sun rise. Will definitely recommend

Perfect location and very comfortable

This place was fabulous! The host was super helpful and responsive. Right on the beach with a great view and the beach feels like your private beach in paradise!! We absolutely loved our stay!!!!!

We had a wonderful trip and our host was very attentive and helped us find places to enjoy locally. We lost power hours before leaving and the host immediately tried to assist when we determined the flashlight on premises was faulty. Fortunately the power came back on quickly and we were worried for naught. I would recommend this property. It’s not overly fancy but it is a great spot, safe, clean and near to all the attractions. One thing to make sure to note, there is only AC in the bedrooms, and it can get warm in the living room/kitchen, but the fans help to circulate the air some of you leave the bedroom doors open.

Beautiful view and great stay.

Miriam was a fantastic host. The place was clean and the view is pretty epic. Tons of restaurants, entertainment, and supermarkets nearby.

Great location!

I love this side of the island. Luquillo Beach is my favorite and this was central to other hot tourists sites like El Yunque, Old San Juan and more. The host was very easy to get a hold of, helpful and responsive. Would stay again.

Wicked Awesome

This was a perfect location to all the activities and more that we had planned for our vacation. The actual space was perfect for cooking in and eating out...all the amenities of home, clean and tidy. Miriam was incredibly kind, responsive and informative.

Excellent communication

Miriam was so easy to work with! When the power went out in PR she was very communicative and thoughtful. Her condo is in a great location if you’re planning to explore. 10 minutes to El Yunque, 45 minutes into Old San Juan. Lots of great restaurants down the street and 15 mins from Ceiba ferry.

Beautiful, roomy apartment completely updated

Beautifully renovated, roomy, clean apartment just steps from the beach. Everything was perfect. The views from the flat are spectacular. When you are not on the beach, enjoy finding swimming holes in El Yunque. We highly recommend this apartment and Luquillo for your vacation.

Winter Escape

We had a lovely relaxing vacation from winter at the beautiful Playa Azul!l penthouse apartment! The accommodation had everything we needed to enjoy all the amenities and views of Playa Azul. We got plenty of exercise on our daily walks along the beautiful beaches of Luquillo. Host were quick to respond and to assist with all our needs. I look forward to another winter break!

Great location

You can't beat this location for all the good things Puerto Rico has to offer. We enyoyed the beaches, rain forest and a day trip to Culebra. Two days were spent exploring Old San Juan's history and cuisine. This penthouse condo is not fancy, but has plenty of space and all the conveniences, except wifi. We particularly liked the balcony view from the of the ocean in one direction and the rain forest in the other. We'd choose this condo again.

Really is a home away from home

The place was so close to the beach and pool both accessible until 7 pm from a private gate. The apartment was so warm and welcoming. The sunrise and sunset were a thing of beauty right from your balcony. Every town was pretty accessible from we were. The amount of beauty and nature that surround you daily is truly amazing. My host was wonderful, great communication. Hopefully do this again soon

Such a lovely place!

I couldn't have asked for a better location to stay for my first visit to the island in 47 years! The layout of the place was as advertised. The sweeping views from the penthouse were gorgeous, the place was clean and well-maintained although some of the appliances need to be replaced. Regardless, it's a minor inconvenience as I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place as I plan to return next year and I plan to stay at this location once again!

Perfect Location

This condo was a perfect location for us. We stayed two weeks and didn't have a car. Everything we wanted was within walking distance: grocery, drug store, American fast food, and Puerto Rican restaurants. Every day we spent time at the beach...sand and palm trees. We ate on the balcony and watched the waves. The condo is well stocked with beach gear. Miriam was the perfect host, although we didn't need anything! We certainly hope to return. Thank you, Miriam!

Pictures do not portray the apartment appropriately. Building and apartment definitely need maintenance and updates.

We are happy to announce that both air conditioners have been replaced and upgraded as of 3/27/23. It's most unfortunate you were not happy with our place. Our modest apartment is just that...modest. Bathrooms and Kitchen are true to the pictures and are upgraded. I pray where every you go that you are happy with the choices you make. Take care, and God bless.

Beautiful place to stay on Playa Azul Beach

This was a PERFECT place to stay in Luquillo. We had our entire family stay in this 2 bedroom apartment and the 3 bedroom apartment next door. This apartment has been beautifully updated with modern bathrooms and a clean, cool kitchen. The view of the ocean is amazing, the living/dining room is roomy. The beds were very comfortable. The entire apartment was immaculate. We highly recommend visiting El Yunique and finding the incredible swimming holes, as well as floating on the most perfect ocean waves in world. Only 40 minutes from the airport, Playa Azul's beach is virtually empty of people- giving you a quiet, peaceful experience. We highly recommend this apartment for your stay.

It's steps to the beach, 24 hour security, It is 5 minutes from the great food at the Kiosks, 15 minutes from the rain forest (El Yunque), and 20 minutes from Fajardo where you can enjoy fine dining and shopping, 40 minutes form Old San Juan with its historical sights and plenty of wine, dine and shopping. Also, near to Kayaking, jet skiing, zip lining and horseback riding.

What makes this place special is the fantastic view and sounds of the ocean. Night or day it provides you with a peaceful environment that can melt your stress away. Just sit on the balcony and your breath will be taken by the excellent water views.
