Belle Waterfront Cottage PrĂšs de Charlottetown

«York Point Cottage 'est un beau chalet de 2 chambres sur l'eau dans un cadre paisible Ă  seulement 10 minutes Ă  l'ouest de Charlottetown Ă  Cornwall. A quelques minutes de restaurants et autres commoditĂ©s de service, le chalet peut accueillir cinq personnes avec un lit Queen dans la chambre principale et un jumeau sur deux lits superposĂ©s dans la deuxiĂšme chambre. La salle de bain a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©novĂ© en 2015 et la salle Ă  manger peut accueillir confortablement 6. Le chalet est entiĂšrement meublĂ© et Ă©quipĂ© avec barbecue au propane, laveuse et sĂ©cheuse, nouveaux appareils de cuisine (y compris les lave-vaisselle) et de la tĂ©lĂ©vision par satellite. Deux grandes terrasses panoramiques composites avec des Ă©tapes Ă  l'eau et une grande cour fournissent amplement d'espace pour profiter de cette situation paisible et pittoresque. Excellent emplacement pour les sports nautiques ou pour ceux qui veulent simplement se dĂ©tendre et regarder les bateaux naviguer. York Point Cottage est un emplacement central idĂ©al pour ceux qui veulent faire le tour de l'Ăźle du Prince-Édouard ou d'ĂȘtre proche des commoditĂ©s urbaines de Charlottetown.

A very responsive and excellent host(s) who wanted to ensure we had a super experience. The property is in a super waterfront location and as we are from Ontario and our friends are from Colorado it was nice to see the tides and the relaxing sounds of nature and the waves. Absolutely fantastic! Floyd and Heather were amazing hosts. Each and every recommendation for restaurants, beaches, sites to take in were awesome. The beach house is beautiful. The pictures on the site are true to real; in reality even better. Location superb. We just can’t wait to come back to P.E.I. and mark my words. We will be back.

Amazing location

We had an excellent stay at this property. Heather was an excellent host and the cottage was beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the sun room. The property was in a quiet location but was close to amenities and convenient for getting anywhere on the island.

Wonderful place- beautiful!

This cottage was beautiful, clean and very well-equipped. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Our family has stayed in many rental properties while on vacations across Canada, and this was one of the nicest we've visited. We would happily stay here again.

We had an absolute incredible week! Heather created such a beautiful oasis with everything you could need. The house has views from almost every spot. The multiple decks and sun room offer peaceful spots to view the water regardless of the weather which is amazing for a vacation week. The kitchen with a view and again, everything you needed, was so fun to cook in and we enjoy cooking! Heather welcomed us when we got there and shared some great places to explore based on what we were looking for. We did all of them and more and felt connected to someone on the island while being so far away. Thank you Heather!! We loved it there and hope to be back one day!

This is such a lovely cottage in a peaceful, beautiful location! The living space - kitchen, dining, and living room - is very comfortable with great views of the tidal West River. Kitchen is well equipped and immaculately clean. Ditto the bathrooms. It was tempting to just stay there and not go anywhere. The breeze off the river was refreshing. The birds were great, with 3 kinds of terns feeding right off the deck. The quiet was great and made it hard to believe we were only 15 minutes from Charlottetown’s historic downtown and 7 minutes from Cow’s main store. Cornwall has a very good grocery store and a nice bakery. And Heather is a wonderful host, who met us when we arrived and walked us thru the cottage to explain how everything works. She was very responsive when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

York Point Retreat

We had a wonderful week staying at 570 York Point, Cornwall. Hosts were very friendly and easy to contact. Home is very well appointed on a beautiful property overlooking the river. Photos are very accurate as to what this home offers to visitors. It's an easy drive to Charlottetown and other PEI destinations from this property.

Best relaxing place with beautiful view

This cottage was so clean and so beautiful. The water view , the sunroom, the deck was so useful to relax. Heather was so wonderful and guided us where the best places to go. I would highly recommend to my friends to visit at this cottage when they are at Cornwall ,PEI . 😊

Quick off season stay

We took a chance to try and rent this cottage on very short notice. Our hosts approved our staying there starting on the day they returned from their own vacation. The cottage is VERY nice and a fantastic central location on PEI. I can not recomend this property more highly. Amazing stay, fantastic hosts and a beautiful part of thr country.

Wonderful holiday getaway

From the start, we knew we were in for a great stay - Heather was responsive, met us at the door, gave us the tour, ensured we had what we needed. After that it was 5 days of our little family taking day trips and coming "home" to the cosy confines of this cottage - a nice mix of modern and beach rustic. Great water view, quiet location, all amenities you would need (thank you again fire pit! ) and location-wise, close to Charlottetown and Cows ice cream!

Paradise

What an experience! This was the best short term rental we have stayed at on PEI. We cooked here every night with local produce and meat and the kitchen had evetything we needed for high end cooking. We will definitely try to book again for next summer! The views here will blow your mind!

SOOOO beautiful

It was even better than on the pictures. The view is so amazing. You can see the bay from about any room in the cottage. Easy access to the beach and more than plenty outdoor chairs. Confort, accessories in the kitchen and bath room, games, everything was perdect. Heather was a great host. I recommand for sure!
