'York Point Cottage' es una hermosa casa de 2 dormitorios en el agua en una zona tranquila, a sólo 10 minutos al oeste de Charlottetown en Cornwall. A pocos minutos de restaurantes y otras instalaciones de servicio, la casa tiene capacidad para cinco con una cama de matrimonio en el dormitorio principal y un gemelo sobre litera doble en el segundo dormitorio. El baño fue renovado en 2015 y el comedor asientos cómodamente 6. La casa está totalmente amueblada y equipada con propano barbacoa, lavadora y secadora, nuevos aparatos de cocina (incluyendo lavavajillas) y televisión por satélite. Dos grandes terrazas panorámicas compuestas con pasos de agua y un gran patio ofrecen un amplio espacio para disfrutar de este bello lugar tranquilo. Excelente ubicación para practicar deportes acuáticos o para aquellos que sólo quieren relajarse y ver los barcos navegar por. York Point Cottage es una ubicación central perfecto para aquellos que quieran visitar la Isla del Príncipe Eduardo, o estar cerca de los servicios urbanos de Charlottetown.

A very responsive and excellent host(s) who wanted to ensure we had a super experience. The property is in a super waterfront location and as we are from Ontario and our friends are from Colorado it was nice to see the tides and the relaxing sounds of nature and the waves. I would highly recommend this location as we felt at home upon arrival. Thanks, to our fine hosts!!

Fantastic property and amenities! Huge, fully stocked kitchen, lots of living space area, amazing views of water, sunsets. Very quiet location. Great hosts! Would stay here again if I we ever get back to Prince Edward Island!

This is such a lovely cottage in a peaceful, beautiful location! The living space - kitchen, dining, and living room - is very comfortable with great views of the tidal West River. Kitchen is well equipped and immaculately clean. Ditto the bathrooms. It was tempting to just stay there and not go anywhere. The breeze off the river was refreshing. The birds were great, with 3 kinds of terns feeding right off the deck. The quiet was great and made it hard to believe we were only 15 minutes from Charlottetown’s historic downtown and 7 minutes from Cow’s main store. Cornwall has a very good grocery store and a nice bakery. And Heather is a wonderful host, who met us when we arrived and walked us thru the cottage to explain how everything works. She was very responsive when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely fantastic! Floyd and Heather were amazing hosts. Each and every recommendation for restaurants, beaches, sites to take in were awesome. The beach house is beautiful. The pictures on the site are true to real; in reality even better. Location superb. We just can’t wait to come back to P.E.I. and mark my words. We will be back.

Vacation perfection

For our family of 3 it would be hard to find so perfect a space anywhere else. The scenery, the quality of the property, the easy access to services and locations and of course the professionalism of the owners - this experience is tops. We had an absolute incredible week! Heather created such a beautiful oasis with everything you could need. The house has views from almost every spot. The multiple decks and sun room offer peaceful spots to view the water regardless of the weather which is amazing for a vacation week. The kitchen with a view and again, everything you needed, was so fun to cook in and we enjoy cooking! Heather welcomed us when we got there and shared some great places to explore based on what we were looking for. We did all of them and more and felt connected to someone on the island while being so far away. Thank you Heather!! We loved it there and hope to be back one day!

A truly wonderful place to stay on the south shore. Beautiful cottage, so well decorated, has everything you need. Excellent hosts! Close to Charlottetown and many sights. Peaceful and scenic. We would stay here again!

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed at the cottage for our girls vacation and we couldn’t have been happier! Heather and Floyd are wonderful hosts! The cottage is beautiful, exceptionally clean and the water views are just stunning. We will definitely be back to stay again!

SOOOO beautiful

It was even better than on the pictures. The view is so amazing. You can see the bay from about any room in the cottage. Easy access to the beach and more than plenty outdoor chairs. Confort, accessories in the kitchen and bath room, games, everything was perdect. Heather was a great host. I recommand for sure!

Heavenly Retreat!!

My husband & I spent an amazing two weeks here for our 25th wedding anniversary. Lovely & accurate as the pictures and descriptions on this execeptional home are… they don’t even do it justice for the York Point Cottage! There is nothing more you could want that our wonderful hosts, Floyd & Heather have not thought of and provided. The home is so tastefully decorated and there are corners & nooks everywhere to take in the views, read a book, or journal while enjoying a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. The location is idealic….the cottage is located in a serenely quite spot right on the water and yet just a short distance to Charlottetown which offers great shops & is a foodie paradise. We will be back next year! It is just so special!

Tranquil Stay-Perfect Location

My daughter and I couldn’t have had a more perfect getaway. The house and property are as described. It is truly so tranquil and peaceful, and has all the amenities you could need. The 3 season room was the most relaxing place to sit and could see the sunset from there or either of the decks. The location was truly perfect to get to our excursions and Charlottetown. Check in was easy and Heather and Floyd were so easy to work with. We had thought of going to an outdoor concert and Floyd offered to bring us lawn chairs. They truly have designed a beautiful, relaxing oasis, and we hope to get back for another visit!

Paradise

What an experience! This was the best short term rental we have stayed at on PEI. We cooked here every night with local produce and meat and the kitchen had evetything we needed for high end cooking. We will definitely try to book again for next summer! The views here will blow your mind!

Amazing location

We had an excellent stay at this property. Heather was an excellent host and the cottage was beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the sun room. The property was in a quiet location but was close to amenities and convenient for getting anywhere on the island.

This property exceeded our expectations. Amazing waterfront location with fantastic views. Spacious and very clean. Loved the fireplace as the weather was chilly when we were there. Close to Charlottetown and all amenities. Would definitely stay there again!!

Best relaxing place with beautiful view

This cottage was so clean and so beautiful. The water view , the sunroom, the deck was so useful to relax. Heather was so wonderful and guided us where the best places to go. I would highly recommend to my friends to visit at this cottage when they are at Cornwall ,PEI . 😊
