Beautiful 2 story cottage tucked away on the North Shore of P.E.I. on a secluded country lane. Close to Cavendish and all its attractions. 7 min from the beautiful Brackley Beach, 10-15 minutes from Rustico and Cavendish beaches. Free park pass provided! Located on the head of the Wheatley River overlooking the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the dunes of Brackley.
If golf is your thing, 10 courses from 5 to 30 minutes away.
Fully equipped with Fibre Op TV and WIFI, microwave, washer and dryer, stove, dishwasher, barbecue, fire pit, upper and lower decks and screened in porch.

The cottage was super clean and had everything we could possibly need & more! The location was great: close to everywhere we wanted to go but still tucked away from main roads. And lots of outdoor space on the property for our pup to play!

Wonderful one week stay

Upon arrival we were greeted by a wonderfully clean and cozy space. There were games and books for the children, and just about any cooking utensil we could wish for.

My family really enjoyed our week in this cottage. We were close to everything we wanted to do, the cottage was immaculate and so well equipped! We absolutely can't wait to go back next year!

Excellent property. Close to beaches and plenty of golf. If Anne of Green Gables is your thing you will be happy with the location (car required) Darlene was excellent. Property was super clean, had everything you may need during your stay. Would highly recommend a stay there!

Perfect vacation

The cottage was awesome, great location and beautiful view. Quick access to lots of great golf courses and close by great restaurants. Also easy access into Charlottetown. Highly recommended to our friends and family.

The cottage was exactly as advertised. The location was beautiful and central to all the golf courses we played. I can’t say enough about how welcoming and accommodating the hosts were. Will definitely be making a return visit.

Peaceful country escape

The cottage is very comfortable and quiet with a beautiful view of the river and expansive well maintained grounds. We really appreciated the National Park pass and used it almost every day of our stay. It is about a fifteen minute drive to North Rustico for groceries and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cozy private getaway with a picturesque view by the water

We were lucky to have booked this cute cottage for our family centrally located in the heart of PEI within a beautiful secluded setting w/ a view of the water. The cottage was fully stocked with absolutely everything you need, and clean! The cottage was perfect for a family of 4 and with plenty of room to spare. Also, communication with the owner was welcoming, prompt and efficient! We definitely will be booking again, so we can make more memorable memories very soon!!

Beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was spotless and well appointed. The property is beautiful, private and on the water! We saw wildlife including herons, eagles, cormorants and a fox. The host was instantly responsive when needed, but we really didn’t need anything. Our two dogs had plenty of space to stretch their legs. We would love to return someday!

Great place. Great location

I won’t repeat everything other reviews have already stated. Was a great week in PEI and this Cottage was just perfect. Only FYI for travelers with kids is that the WiFi is slow and not reliable. But considering where the location is it’s not surprising. Also not much cell service. Darlene provides everything and is available. We mostly enjoyed the coffee maker. Laundry. Thank you for also having camping chairs. The kids liked the bunk beds and upstairs play area. Will look to stay there again. Location is good for access to various island spots.

PEI trip September 2023

The cottage was wonderful - everything we needed for our 12 day stay with 2 grown up children. Such comfortable beds and beautiful soft linens, the upstairs has 2 single rooms, a bathroom, sitting area and balcony so perfect for older kids/teenagers. Great space for jigsaws too! Baskets full of toiletries in case you have forgotten anything - such a kind touch! You will need a car - that goes without saying - but there is lots to visit and shops/petrol stations nearby. View is amazing! Saw herons, eagles, geese, skunk and many fishermen! Fire pit, table and chairs on the deck, and garden chairs meant there was loads of outside space to enjoy. Instructions are in the house and Darlene was so helpful and informative when we had questions. Would definitely stay again. Thank you both

This was the perfect house for my friend and I and our two sons. We loved being on the river and seeing the plethora of herons, eagles and ospreys. The deck was a perfect spot to sit out in the morning and to eat meals. We brought our paddle boards and were able to access the Wheatley river a bit. It gets quite low at low tide, but it was manageable. Darlene had all the supplies you might need including bug spray, containers to pack lunch plus yard games. She also left a little basket in each bathroom of toiletries which is different from any house rental I've stayed in before. My friend forgot her toothpaste, so this was helpful.

Beautiful place to stay!!! Fully stocked for all your needs. Beautiful view of the water. Comfortable beds. Conveniently located near several lobster dinners and 3 minutes to Blue Mussel Cafe, which has outstanding meals. Highly recommend, Darlene super easy to deal with and extremely helpful. Agréable séjour!

En famille nous avons passé une agréable semaine. Le cottage est propre et il est facile d'échanger avec Darlene. Rien à redire sauf qu'il serait intéressant d'avoir 1 plan pour se rendre au cottage. De plus nous suggérons + de barres/crochets pour les serviettes. Nous recommandons!
