Great stay and a wonderful location

House is situated in a wonderful location that makes it feel away from town, but with easy access to Manhattan. Property is new and has an exceptional vibe and strong design sense. Highly recommended and one of the best Vrbo places we've ever stayed in.

The cottage was a wonderful break from daily activities and the surrounding area outside was just so serene. We enjoy the quietness, nature and the cottage life cedes all our expectations. We will be back.

We fell in love with the tallgrass prairie when we each came to Manhattan to attend Kansas State University. We have made the Flint Hills our home ever since — and, for nearly fifteen years, Prairiewood our labor of love. Having raised our three children here amidst the abundance of these surroundings, we continue to be compelled by this special place.
