Everything you would ever want from a vacation home.

The whole family (my wife, two grown daughters, husbands and two granddaughters) went down to Nomad dunes for the second year in a row. The house has plenty of room for everyone to have space when wanted even though we were all together most of the time either at the beach, pool or family room. Everyone did not want to leave when the week was up and that says it all. The host is great answering any questions in a timely manner. In summation the house is very large, clean and well stocked. 2 years in a row and no interest in trying any other location. Thank you Mike and Chelsea for creating a location that creates great memories. See you next year.

We have stayed at many properties in the outer banks, but the combination of the solitude at Carova Beach coupled with the house and all of the amenities made our families stay memorable, or as my daughter in law put it on Facebook: magical. All of the amenities were just as described. I was looking at a place for our kids and their families and we found one that we can back to again and again.

Michael was amazing with communication when I booked, leading up to, and during our stay. The property was perfect for an escape weekend with an amazing proximity to the beach. Amenities were top tier and we had more than we could have asked for.

The house was spectacular and the hosts are incredibly prepared and responsive to all of your vacation needs. Plenty of rooms, seats and space available throughout the house. Extra amenities kept on site and available as needed (games, outdoor activities, paper products, soaps, ect). The backyard is perfect for family fun, pool time and fires. It’s a short drive or walk to the beach with easy access. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely amazing time. I’m so thankful that the host were able to accommodate our last second travel plans for this much-needed weekend getaway. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend and an absolute amazing property. We will definitely be staying again thank you very much.

Wonderful location, house, and hosts. Our family vacation could not have been better. The house was well equipped for large groups and a short distance from the beach. It was so awesome when the horses came by the house nearly every day during our stay. We would love to come back again someday!

Special place in the dunes

A beautiful home on one of the most beautiful beaches. You definately need a 4x4 to reach it all but its worth it.

5 Stars — A Fantastic Stay at Nomad DunesOur family had an absolutely fantastic time at Nomad Dunes. From the moment we booked, Mike and Chelsea provided exceptional communication, every detail we needed to know about the OBX, beach driving, local attractions, and the home itself was clearly explained and incredibly helpful. Their guidebook was thorough, easy to use, and made planning our trip effortless.The house is beautifully renovated and truly feels brand‑new. It was spotless upon arrival, extremely well equipped, and thoughtfully stocked with everything a family could need. The pool and hot tub were pristine, and the added touches including pool floats, beach chairs, umbrellas, and other beach gear made enjoying both the beach and the pool an absolute breeze.One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing on the various balconies. The sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over the sound were absolutely stunning, offering peaceful moments we’ll remember for a long time.There are truly no words that can do Mike, Chelsea and Nomad Dunes the justice they deserve. Suffice to say that we were provided the perfect setting for a relaxing, memorable family vacation. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and extremely well‑managed home in the OBX. We will definitely be returning to make more special memories.JW & EN

Perfect Beach Experience

We loved staying in this beautiful home, big enough and very comfortable for 7 adults(plus more!) plenty of outdoor spaces and great indoor spaces for big family dinners and games! It was great having all the outdoor beach equipment to borrow! We had perfect weather and gorgeous sunrises! Definitely need a 4x4 to get to the property. And we were happy to see the wild horses roaming. We will definitely be back!

5 Stars – Perfect Getaway in Corolla!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Corolla. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We used the hot tub and fire pit almost every night—such a great way to wind down after a day at the beach. Speaking of the beach, it was just a short, easy walk away.One of the highlights was seeing wild horses wander right into the yard—such a unique and unforgettable experience! Mike and Chelsea were fantastic hosts—attentive, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure our stay was perfect.We can’t wait to come back!

Great place to get away!

I've stayed in a lot of beach houses from NC to Florida. I can't remember a better experience. First the house is wonderful. Everything you want/need plus a ton. I hate staying at a house and the first thing I need to do is go buy laundry detergent or something. Didn't have to do that here. If I say everything cool about the house, I'll be here awhile. It's a perfect place to get away from civilization so if you are on the fence, just do it.
