The Ultimate Fishing Retreat- Comfortable and Convenient!

Whether you're looking to fish, kayak, or simply soak in the views, our home provides the perfect base for your outdoor adventures. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit is part of a vertical duplex and is ideal for families or groups eager to explore the stunning beauty of the Ten Thousand Islands. Enjoy a private space complete with a fully stocked kitchen, dedicated office area, and private entry.

*Note: The rental includes the lower unit only, and the owners occupy the upper unit. Each unit has separate entries with no common or shared spaces.

Living Spaces

The living room is designed for comfort with a reclining sectional sofa, loveseat, recliner, and wall mounted flat screen tv. Perfect for unwinding after a day of outdoor fun! For a cozy ambiance, use the sliding-style switch for accent lighting located on the wall in the kitchen.


Front Bedroom

This room is furnished with a queen Tempur-Pedic bed. The ensuite offers a newly updated shower configuration. Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are provided for your convenience. Extra linens and pillows are available as well.


Primary Suite

This spacious room includes a full-sized bunk bed, as well as a queen-sized bed. The ensuite master bath features a walk-in shower. Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are provided for your convenience. Extra towels, pillows, and additional bed linens are available.



Kitchen

Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious meals, featuring a stainless French-door refrigerator, electric stove/oven, and microwave. Coffee lovers will appreciate the standard automatic drip coffee maker and a Keurig, complete with plenty of cups and filters.

You'll find complete dishware, utensils, and essential cookware (pots, pans, and more) for all your cooking needs. There are also baking pans in the stove’s bottom drawer.

A full-sized stacked washer-dryer unit is conveniently located in the kitchen's utility closet; bleach and detergent are available in the pantry next to the refrigerator.


Outdoor Amenities

One of the highlights of our property is the lighted dock, ideal for boating and fishing. With immediate access to Chokoloskee Bay, you can easily explore the breathtaking Ten Thousand Islands. A lighted fish cleaning station on the dock makes it easy to prepare your catch!

The gas grill is located under the front stairs—perfect for a barbecue after a day on the water.

The hosts were very welcoming and provided clear and prompt communication, with local knowledge. The house was very clean, comfortable, and very peaceful, especially at night. It was very well equipped, including filtered water, coffee with two different coffee systems and plenty of kitchen amenities.The dock access was only a few steps behind the house, and included the use of fresh water hose, electricity and mooring whips to keep our boat off the dock through the tide changes. There is a short canal out to the bay,. The canal is not passable at very low tides, but that was easily worked around by timing entry/exit the one time it happened during our stay. There was plenty of parking for the boat trailer and truck.

Great spot on the island

Very clean and comfortable venue. Most importantly, the location is perfect. An excellent place to stay while enjoying some fishing around Chokoloskee!

Very well appointed and perfect for a family or group of fishing buddies. We started out with three, then four and then back to three for our stay. This is the downstairs of a canal house and it was very nice. We had to communicate with the owner and they were very quick to accommodate. We will definitely stay here again for our annual fishing trip.

Great time!

We brought our son down for his 7th birthday. We had a great time. Property was just as pictured, clean, communication was great. He enjoyed fishing off the dock while we weren’t out and about checking out nature and wildlife. We will for sure be back.

Place was very nice, zero complaints with the property or stay...The cleaning fee is absolutely ridiculous, this would probably make me look elsewhere for my next trip.Was unaware that it was a shared property till i spoke with the person on here. No indication on the posting

Paul, We are so glad you enjoyed our house and your stay! We strive to keep our costs as low as possible. Due to the remote location, finding a quality and reliable source for cleaning is more difficult and expensive than in more populated areas. When you mentioned "unaware that it was a shared property," I think you are referring to it being a vertical duplex with separate entrances for each level and no shared space(s). We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we have updated our listing to indicate it is two separate duplex units.
