Beautiful, peaceful, secluded property off the beaten path but still within a short drive to everything. Loved the kitchen. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space in each room for all your things and be able to move around without feeling cramped. Wonderful view of surrounding nature from both inside through large windows and outside from huge covered deck. Everything was as described and provided a much needed escape from our daily lives to unwind and relax. Thank you for sharing with us!
Hi Harriet, hope you decide to come back and stay with us! Was wonderful to meet you and your husband as well as your grandchildren! Glad you had fun with them!
Loved the grounds and privacy of the cabin. Great central location to activities in the area. The interior is a dated but the space is phenomenal. Lots of room for large groups. Would absolutely return as a guest. The host was exceptional and quick to help.
What a great serene property. Accommodations exactly as advertised. Peaceful, relaxing, easy to get to Franklin, and hummingbirds were entertaining to watch. Host very cordial. Highly recommended!!
Absolutely a wonderful mountain getaway. The Hummingbird Lodge is a wonderful place to come unwind and spend some family time together. We absolutely love coming here and are planning to come at least once a year. Highly recommended.

Hi Frank, glad you and your family enjoyed the place and welcome you to come back and stay with us again.
My family had a great time at the hummingbird Lodge. It was large enough that we did not feel claustrophobic.
Julie our Host was great and readily available to answer any questions I had.
Beautiful escape to nature. Secluded property allows for plenty of places to roam exploring the hills and beautiful waterfalls. Julia was a great host! Already planning our next time at the lodge.
The cabin is well appointed and comfortable. It was wonderful to be able to walk out the door and take a quiet, peaceful walk to a mountain stream. We look forward to another visit. The host is wonderful and communicates regularly. Loved it!!

We'll be back!
Hummingbird Lodge was wonderful, and Julia was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. The hammock on the deck was pure heaven, especially when listening to the thunder and watching the rain on the ponds. The Lodge is peaceful, secluded, and relaxing. We will definitely plan another vacation here.

David, we appreciate that you took care of the Lodge as if it was your own. You are special guests and we would welcome you back. It is so nice to hear that you had a wonderful stay at the Lodge. Come back soon!!
We just loved the lodge wilderness setting. Everyday you are surrounded by nature. Beautiful view from the porch. Comfortable seating and bedding. Cozy and warm log cabin feel with all the comforts of modern day amenities.
Very nice birthday stay. The property was clean and everything is provided except paper products . The road is long , windy and gravel but not an issue . Would go back again
Our family had a great time. Lots of places to visit like.... Dillsboro, Silva, Franklin, Bryson city, National forest, and Highland. Kids had fun at the gem mines, parks, train museum, and fishing.
Adults liked the shopping, especially the Christmas shop, many good places to eat, and loved the boiled peanuts! The road to nowhere is a must to see! The property manager was excellent and respond promptly.

Very Relaxing
A wonderful getaway with friends or family. Lots to do in the surrounding areas, but perfect to just stay put and enjoy the peaceful environment. Great restaurants and fun shopping nearby. Lodge is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Would love to have staedy longer. Would be beautiful in the Fall with gorgeous colors and lovely temperatures. Would definately recommend for a relaxing getaway.
My wife and I really enjoyed our extended stay at the Hummingbird Lodge. The escape from the mid south heat was was refreshing. Spent most evenings on the porch reading and watching the hummingbirds feed. Also to daily walks in Highlands Pass withe the dogs. Our last evening we enjoyed a glass of wine and some appetizers with Julie and Don (the owner). Already scheming our next visit! Julie/Don, thanks for being wonderful hosts.
We had a lot going on in our family this year. These people were so understanding about changing dates. I'm really impressed. Thank you again and again Julia.
We absolutely love this lodge and look forward to our stay every year! Secluded just enough, but close enough, for hiking, fishing or day trips to the local tourist attractions in the neighboring states. This lodge has everything you need to feel like you’re home and we treat it as if it were own. Julia is an exceptional hostess and is great with communication if you need her.
I can’t stress enough how clean and detailed to your comfort this place is! If you decide to book your stay, you will NOT be disappointed, but I ask you to please keep it as you found it.
