Cozy Bear: A Dreamy Cabin Hideout for Two, Gatlinburg & PF - SPRING SPECIALS
Cozy Bear is located in a quiet area with convenient access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Gatlinburg Welcome Center is 4.7 miles away, while Pigeon Forge is 3.6 miles away. You can go to both from the Spur or by picturesque, winding back roads.
The cabin is all on one level and offers easy access from the driveway, with just a single step leading up to the deck.
The living area features a cozy lodge-style design, complete with a comfortable loveseat and a gas fireplace to keep you warm on the chilliest nights.
The kitchen is equipped with a variety of dishes and a dishwasher. Both Keurig and drip coffee makers are available.
The bedroom includes a queen bed and comes with a TV equipped for streaming.
A washer and dryer are provided for added convenience during longer stays.
We welcome small to medium-sized pets weighing up to 50 pounds. Be sure to add them to your reservation to cover the pet fee. We recommend that pets be crated when left alone, as bears and other woodland animals could cause them to react unexpectedly. Please see our Service Animals section below if you're bringing one.
Whether you book a single night or several nights, the cleaning fee remains the same, making one-night stays more costly.
Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat, a family vacation, or a solo adventure, our cabin is the perfect place for you. Book now and get ready for a memorable experience!
Frequently Asked Questions:
How private is the cabin? The cabin provides a fairly private setting, though it’s not entirely isolated. For a truly secluded retreat, you might want to look into cabins further away from attractions. While there are other cabins nearby, none are directly next to ours, and the empty lot below enhances the feeling of separation. In the growing season, the foliage hides most of the cabins, but during winter, more become visible.
How are the roads to the cabin? The roads to the cabin are paved and well-kept. In winter, they’re cleared of snow and treated for safe travel. Keep in mind, though, that mountain roads often have winding turns, steep climbs, and narrow sections, so the drive can be an adventure. Depending on where you're coming from, your GPS might suggest the back roads, which are scenic but potentially challenging, especially after dark. If it's your first visit, we recommend sticking to the easy route along the Parkway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This road is one of the better ones around, and you won’t need a special vehicle or any advanced driving skills.
Do you provide laundry detergent? We include a couple of detergent pods, but be sure to bring extra if you plan on doing more laundry.
Do you provide dishwasher detergent? Yes, it’s provided.
Is there sugar, salt, pepper, and coffee at the cabin? The cabin is usually stocked with essentials like sugar, salt, pepper, and coffee filters, but our housekeepers don’t restock them. We replenish supplies when we visit, but since we can’t monitor levels remotely, it’s always a good idea to double-check.
Will we see insects at the cabin? Although the cabin is treated each spring, its woodland location means you'll inevitably encounter some insects—a natural part of the area. Late summer sees an increase in spider activity, with webs often reappearing on the decks just hours after being swept away. A broom is provided for daily sweeping. If the idea of insects causes discomfort, alternative accommodations in town might be a better option.
Service animals If bringing a service animal, please answer the following questions in your booking inquiry: Is the service animal required because of a disability? What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Please note that in Tennessee, misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a Class B misdemeanor. Under Tennessee Code § 39-16-304, violators face up to 30 days in jail, fines between $105 and $855, and 100 hours of community service.

Very nice for a couple to get away and yet located near Pigeon Forge. Very relaxing location. Outside lighting is limited. Would recommend exhaust fan in the bathroom to use during showers.. Overall I would certainly recommend.
