For the nostalgic gamer, our arcade cabinet boasts over 7000 games, providing endless entertainment for all ages.

You should know: 1) We have two exterior cameras. One is pointed at the driveway and the other at the overflow parking area. 2) The air conditioner is portable and does not cool the entire home.

Perfect Birthday Getaway

We rented Paws under the Pines to celebrate our joint birthdays. Our only requirements were pet-friendly and hot tub. This home has it all, and then some. They had all the kitchen gadgets, every way to make coffee, a Gelato treat for the pup, and games galore. The walk to the beach is so quick and easy, and during our stay we barely saw another person on the beach with us. Got to see some deer in the yard. Everything was just so wonderful, Id 1000% recommend this home to anyone headed to the beach with their pups!

This place was great! I took my dad and my dog and it was everything that we needed and more. The kitchen is so well stocked with everything you could need. The location to the beach was fantastic. The dog loved the big yard and room to explore. The game room was fun in the garage. Also the computer set up in the office was great too. Just a heads up it is on the main road. It was November so there was very little road noise, but if this is something that bugs you just be aware. Also, backing into the driveway made it much much easier to pull out into traffic. The host was great and got right back to me with a few questions I had. Nice touch changing the locks to my phone number so that it was easy to remember. We had some friends stop in and they were also really impressed with the place and said it was way better than where they were staying. I would 1000% choose this place in the future.

This property was a pet paradise! Our labs had the time of their lives. 3 minute walk to the beach huge fenced yard. The home was even prepared for the sand with towels special for the dogs. We did not use the hot tub but it looks very well cared for. House was clean and organized.

Well equipped, dog friendly (though fence is not secure in some places, if you have an escape artist pet like ours...), clean, beach access across the street! Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely chill vibe at this scenic home. Clean, oversized hot tub was wonderful. the home is clean and thoughtfully laid out. Backyard is great for hanging. Enjoyed watching a young buck feast on the apples. Easy beach access. Would definitely stay again.

Fall beauty

We were so blessed with beautiful weather for our October stay. Our Roxie girl could not get enough smells in the yard and run time on the beach. So special for the pup. The house was super clean and well appointed. . I love that it is an easy walk to the beach. We visited Sitka Sedge for a hike and was not disappointed. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Our go-to place

3rd stay in the books and my rescue pup feels right at home here (as do the humans). Loved the amenities and especially enjoyed the hot tub and deck this time with great weather again. Already have the next stay planned!

Perfect birthday getaway

This was our 2nd stay at PUP and it was perfect to celebrate my birthday. The house is perfectly located with tons of amenities and my rescue pup enjoys exploring the backyard. The weather was amazing and we enjoyed the hot tub and even did some painting on the back deck. We saw whales at Cape Kiwanda and took a short trip to Netarts for lunch at The Schooner, with a mandatory stop at Jacobsen’s Salt Co to stock up. Thanks again for a great stay!

The house has a well-stocked kitchen except the microwave didn't work but was not a problem for us. I loved that it is dog friendly, and I felt comfortable letting her roam the back yard. The hot tub is great, and the location was perfect for us. Overall, just an excellent experience. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a lot of fun at Paws Under the Pines! The house was clean and very comfortable. The arcade and ping pong table was fun. The hot tub was great and we were a quick walk from the beach. The fenced in yard was really nice for our dogs. We plan on staying here in the future!

We had a great stay in this well-appointed and maintained home! We loved that the bedrooms were on opposite sides of the kitchen and dining area and each had its own bathroom. The family with dogs stayed on one side and the elders weren't even aware of their ins and outs during the night or early morning. We rolled a desk chair to the table to allow the five of us to eat together, we all enjoyed the hot tub, the dogs used the fenced yard without worrying their adults, and the arcade game was a hit. The beach, though, was THE BEST! Across the road and past a few houses to the white sand beach with a wide tidal flat offering great skim board space, uncrowded for miles to the north (main beach access is about a half mile to the south), and glorious sunset photos! It was wonderful to have all the pots, pans, flatware, and tableware for real meals and the dishwasher did a great job of cleaning everything. We used the washer and dryer, too, which was super handy with lots of beach action.

We loved this rental! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and then some. The yard is beautiful and it was nice to have such a big area for our dogs to run around in. We loved having the hot tub to warm up in after playing at the beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful and relaxing stay

This rental was perfect for our family plus our two dogs. The dogs loved exploring in the fenced backyard, and we loved the close proximity to the ocean and the quiet beach. We also loved that we could hop in the car for a short drive down to Cape Kiwanda for dinner, and to watch the boats, kites, surfers etc. It was really the best of both worlds. The house was immaculately clean, the beds were comfortable, and it felt like every detail was thought through- the nicely equipped kitchen, the doggie gelato in the freezer, the washer/dryer, the arcade and all of the dog supplies. We would love to stay here again sometime soon!

Outstanding property! Beautiful, comfortable home with plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The yard was outstanding and really enjoyed being able to just hang out on the deck. Great kitchen and herb garden for cooking. Loved the extra dog supplies in the "dog room." Loved having the hot tub to warm up in and relax for the evening. Such a short walk to the beach as well.

The perfect getaway on the Oregon coast

Absolutely loved our stay here! The house was so private, serene, and fully stocked with everything you’d need. Our dog loved the fully fenced front and backyard and we loved the hot tub, grill, back porch, and quick walk to the beach. Hope to stay again soon!

People and Pups

When you travel with dogs, your options for homes shrinks quickly. Fully fenced yard and a clean comfortable home. Paws under the pines is a winner. It met our expectations and we will stay again if travel plans align. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great place for dogs and their people!

Super comfortable beach house with a great kitchen, comfortable beds and bathrooms, a large yard, fenced in for dogs to romp and humans to watch them from the decks. Great, clean hot tub, outdoor greenhouse shed to get out of the rain and beautiful trees and flowers to enjoy the outdoors. Cook’s kitchen makes it easy to enjoy a home-cooked meal. And the registration process and communication with the owner was exemplary. Definitely give it five stars.

Coastal retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property had everything we needed and our dogs loved it! I appreciated the thoughtful touches to make the guests and pets feel welcome and right at home. We loved being so close to the beach and the hot tub was amazing! We can't wait to return!

Dog heaven!

Paws Under The Pines exceeded our expectations! We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the years on the coast, this was the first time we didn't have to pay an arm and a leg to bring our dogs with us! Not only that, but this property has a large fenced yard, a dog room, and other dog friendly amenities that really made us feel at home and that our dogs were actually welcome! Our senior dogs are both 13 now, the short 1-2 minute walk across the road to the beach was perfect for them. And the ramp off the back deck was perfect for our senior citizen pups! This was our first trip with our 8 month old baby, and the home was exceptionally clean (arguably cleaner than our own house!) so I had no reservations about letting him scoot around on the floor. The kitchen was well stocked, and hands down the best stocked coffee bar I've seen in a vacation rental! Beds and bedding were very comfortable. The owner was very kind and messaged us letting us know we could check in early which was so appreciated after our long drive. We highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a quiet beach and a dog friendly clean house!

Surfing Adventure

Group of 4 life-long friends enjoyed this great property on one of the sunniest 4 days at the coast. Our dachshunds truly loved exploring the backyard. The doggie treats and thoughtful ways our pups were welcomed was delightful. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen as we cooked dinner each night. We were able to have time together, surfing lessons and easy access to the beach close by to let pups run. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Everyone loved it!

This place has so much going for it; a short walk to a quiet beach, a short drive to Pacific City, a large hot tub, a ping pong table, an arcade machine, a ton of "analog" games, and all the kitchen appliances you could hope for (and more). The yard is huge - plenty of room for corn hole, ladder ball, etc. It is by far the most complete and well thought out home we have stayed in, and the dogs thought so too!

Home Away from Home

Love love love Paws Under the Pines! We had a wonderful getaway and can’t wait to return. Our nosey 9yo rescue Jack Russell Terrorist gives this home 4 Paws Up- she loved having total yard freedom! So much that she didn’t want to come in, especially when the sun came out lol. Thank you for having a secure yard, just like we have at home, so we didn’t have to worry when she was out enjoying all the sniffs (and giving the neighbor’s dog a kiss through the fence). Super comfy beds, immaculately clean separate spaces to read, crochet, watch TV, or even paint, lounge on the deck, all just the break we needed. And the kitchen and coffee pantry is stocked to the brim! Looking forward to trying out the hot tub and arcade games on our next visit!

Great house, great location and perfect for furry family too

House is beautiful, game room with amazing old video games and ping pong when weather wasn't optimal. Hot tub on a chilly starlit night with sound of the ocean. Fenced yard, ramps for my tiny dogs made their stay safe and new smells galore.I have already booked again for the fall.

We have a fenced backyard and dedicated room for your furry friends, a state of the art hot tub, and a very well-appointed kitchen. We have a chef's garden with herbs and berries. The property is in reach of all amenities, but feels private and borders on a national forest on one side and the coast a block away on the other. Ocean fishing? Yes. River fishing? easy, just a few minutes away. Surfing? We got that. Room to park a RV or boat? Absolutely. Charge your EV? Of course. Let your hound explore the yard? Necessary! Single-level coastal living? Grandma deserves the coast, too. <3
