The host responded very well to our few issues. The house was very clean and well stocked. Loved the shelf space in the bathrooms, which is rare! Having two kitchens was great! The location is also good.The bedrooms are very small and have no storage space at all. The heating system is difficult to use in cold weather. I suggest bringing space heaters.

Sweet Stay Close to the Mountain

Every year my family rents a house in Stowe to ski. This year there were 8 of us (all adults) and it was our first time staying at this house. The property was clean and bright, and situated very close to downtown and about 12 minutes to Stowe. Comfy furniture and beds, and lots of parking. The owner was very responsive to my messages. It appears the house is very newly renovated and there were a few things that could be improved upon. Between the two kitchens, there was only one kitchen towel and no mixing bowls. A couple more pots and pans would also be welcome. It made it difficult to cook in the kitchen. We ended up leaving a couple kitchen towels for the next guests. The house/check-out instructions I received through the app were straightforward enough, but there were additional sets of instructions in the house on both fridges that said different things which was confusing. One set of straight- forward instructions before arrival would work best as we didn’t even see the fridge instructions at first since we had already received the house info via the app.
