Welcome to Birch Bay Lakehouse! Our space is designed for family gatherings and small get-togethers with friends. Please note, that we don`t allow any parties. We want to maintain the relaxing atmosphere at the property. Have a unique inquiry? Send us a message!

The Lakehouse is has been curated to offer the perfect blend of lakehouse vibes mixed with all the luxuries (and then some!) of home. Details include warm pine ceilings, shiplap walls, and impressive vaulted ceilings. The large custom kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need to cook while on your vacation including an induction stove, full-size fridge and bar fridge. Our bedrooms are all furnished with comfortable, high-quality mattresses for incredible restful sleep. If you are lucky enough to claim the master bedroom, you will wake up to a view of the lake right from your bed, and your own private deck! We provide soft bath towels and crisp white bed linens, along with bathroom necessities: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. During the cooler months, enjoy relaxing by the stone gas fireplace while taking in the beautiful lake views.

SUMMER: Weekly bookings are required for summer. Friday to Friday. If there are weeks with less than 7 days, we will allow it.

- We can accommodate up to 6 Adults, 2 Children under 2.
PETS: Dogs only with approval. 1 dog under 50 lbs, on a case-by-case basis. No other pets or animals permitted (This includes cats, bunnies, snakes, reptiles, fish, or any other type of animals). Any pets found at the property that have not been pre-approved will be charged $750 & will be a case for the pets to be removed from the property or have you removed from the premises.

BEDROOMS:

Birch Bay Lakehouse offers 3 bedrooms, with 7 beds in total.

Bedroom 1 - The primary bedroom is a beautiful high ceiling style room that is flooded with natural light and spectacular views of the lake that can be enjoyed from a king size bed. The primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet as well as a deck overlooking the lake.

Bedroom 2 - This bedroom has a queen-sized bed, with incredible windows and is steps away from the 2nd level loft that overlooks the grand living room.

Bedroom 3 - This bedroom is perfect for adults or kids. It offers a double set of bunk beds with a double bed on the bottom and single bed on top and a single bunk bed. It is also found on the 2nd level.


BATHROOMS:

The cottage has 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bathroom. They each have plenty of storage and impressive water pressure. The ensuite bathroom in the primary bedroom on the main level contains a shower and single sink with ample room for hanging your towels. The second bathroom located on the 2nd level is for the 2nd and 3rd bedroom and has a shower/bath and vanity. Our third bathroom is a half bathroom with vanity on the main level for additional space so guests won’t have to spend time waiting!


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The Lakehouse is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from a Foodland and LCBO. If you are looking to explore further, Port Carling, Bala, and Parry Sound are all within 25 minutes of the Lakehouse.

For those looking for an adventure, the Lakehouse is located just minutes away to ATV and OFSC snowmobile trails, and close to some incredible provincial parks.

Located in the charming town of MacTier in the region of Muskoka there is tons of to in the area.
Here are some things to do:


5 Minute Drive to MacTier (LCBO, Foodland, Ice Cream & few restaurants)
23 Minute Drive to Port Carling
22 Minute Drive to Bala
27 Minute Drive to Rosseau
25 Minute drive to Parry Sound for incredible boat tours and restaurants
30 Minute drive to Hardy Lake Provincial Park

There are about 15 steps to the waterfront from the top of the property.

We do have three security cameras - one faces the driveway in the front of the home and one overlooking the dock as we need to make sure there is no damage due to weather, and for snow conditions. Lastly, there is a doorbell camera.

Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to confirm your contact information, including phone number & address. We also require a signed rental contract.

Please note: You will be required to provide a $1500 refundable security deposit at the time of your booking.
House Rules
We’re thrilled to have you stay at Birch Bay Lakehouse! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit for everyone, we kindly ask you to follow a few house guidelines:

General Rules
1. Occupancy: Please ensure the number of guests does not exceed the number in your reservation (6 adults, 2 children under 2 years, and any pre-approved pets).

2. No Smoking: Absolutely no smoking of any kind is allowed inside the cottage. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the designated container outside or in a can or bottle. Any evidence of smoking inside will result in additional $500 cleaning fee.

3. Garbage & Recycling: Please sort and dispose of all garbage and recycling in the bins at the top of the driveway before you leave. Leftover trash may incur a minimum charge of $100 for removal.

4. Outdoor Fires: Please ensure all outdoor fires contained within the fire pit provided and are completely extinguished before leaving.

5. Dishes: Kindly load the dishwasher and start it before you check out.

6. No Parties or Excessive Noise: Parties are not permitted. We want you to enjoy your time here, but please keep noise to a reasonable level and respectful of the neighbors. If a noise complaint is filed during your stay, you will forfeit your security deposit.

7. Age Requirement: The minimum age to book is 25.

8. Hot Tub:
-Please wash your feet before entering the hot tub.
-No food, glass cups, or bottles in the hot tub.
-Children under 12 must be supervised at all times.

11. We love dogs! If you’d like to bring your dog, please get in touch with us for prior approval. We can accommodate 1 dog under 50 lbs (preferably non-shedding) on a case-by-case basis. All dogs must be house trained. Unfortunately, we cannot accept puppies or other types of pets (e.g., cats, reptiles, fish, etc.).

-If a pet is found on the property without approval, a $300 fee will apply, and we may need to ask the pet to leave the property.
-Pet Cleanup: We ask that you pick up after your dog and dispose of waste properly. There is a $250 fee for additional cleaning if necessary.
-No Dogs on Furniture: Please keep your dog off the furniture to help maintain cleanliness.
-Dog Supervision: Please do not leave your dog unattended. Dogs must not be allowed to roam free and should be kept on the property at all times. We recommend bringing a crate for your dog when you’re out.
-Minimize Barking: Excessive barking will not be tolerated. Please ensure your dog does not disrupt the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
