Your own entrance, spacious living area of 1,200 sf; 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, washer/dryer. 3 minute walk to LIRR into Manhattan (under an hour) & only 14 miles from JFK airport. Walk to restaurants, bars, movies, shopping, all houses of worship, boardwalk & beach. Quiet tree lined street in a perfect, convenient location! Great Place for a family of four!

The apartment is the perfect location (near beach and a short walk to LIRR as well as a short drive from JFK airport) Bruce is great, you also get use of the driveway, plenty of towels and coffee pods, washer/dryer, very clean place to stay, nothing missing that you would want or need!

Fun at the Beach

Bruce greeted us and showed us around the apartment as soon as we arrived. Tamar made homemade cookies for us. The apartment was very nice, they thought of everything you would need. Bruce even left a container of milk for us. It is close to the beach and restaurants are within walking distance. We'd request a stay again.

Stay in Long Beach

Couldn't believe how close to the beach this apartment is. We had an enjoyable stay even though the steps going down to the apartment were difficult for my husband because of his depth perception. No fault of the owners..Very private and beautiful patio also

Comfortable and Convenient

This is a very nice semi-basement apartment. Plenty of room, although low ceilings. Clean, all the amentities including a kitchen with off street parking close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and our hosts were friendly, out of the way and accomodating.

Wonderful Stay Close to the Beach

My family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property. Bruce and Tamar were communicative, clear, and helpful and everything went smoothly. The basement apartment is centrally located and a short walk to the beach/boardwalk as well as great shops and restaurants. We had everything we needed for an excellent weekend by the beach. Highly recommend!

Outstandinf Stay! 5 Stars!!!

Bruce and Tamar are AMAZING hosts and very nice people! Me and other family members stayed for a week in the apartment and we were greeted with wine and homemade cookies for the Thanksgiving holiday. Bruce went over and above to make our stay comfortable and easy. Tamar is wonderful and provided fresh towels and sheets throughout the stay for our convenience. Highly reco

Great experience

This is a great property and the hosts are super responsive and so nice. The apt. Is exactly as described, very clean. We appreciated the coffee/milk and kitchen items and toiletries in the bathroom. There were plenty of towels and even laundry detergent next to the washer and dryer. We snacked on the homemade cookies and Tamar met us and gave us a tour when we arrived. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and we felt safe walking at night. The house is only a block from the beach and right in the middle of Long Beach. Awesome place!!

The location is perfect - Bruce was there to greet me and show me the unit when I arrived and his wife baked cookies! The place was perfect and well stocked.

Perfect Location and Quiet Neighborhood

First time Vrbo renter and couldn't be happier. Location was perfect-2 blocks from the beach and about 4 blocks to train station/ restaurants/grocery store. Neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe walking around even at night. Host met us when we arrived and showed us around. Kitchen was stocked with "starter" supplies (milk, oj, yogurt, water) along with a plate of homemade cookies. Bedrooms were both good size and comfortable. Backyard had outdoor tables, string lights and hammock. Host also provided beach chairs that could be worn as a backpack. Took these to see the air show at Jones Beach on Memorial Day weekend (highly recommend). Slept so much better than at a hotel. Wonderful vacation.

Great location, nice place

The apartment was very clean and cozy. It's in a great location near beach and restaurants. Host was very quick to respond, easy to work with and very welcoming. I didn't realize it was a basement apartment. We are a tall family and some of the ceilings were a bit low. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great in everyway!

Great location by the beach and by several restaurants/deli/bagels. Very spacious for our family of four. The kitchen with refrigerator and coffee maker, nice size TV and the washer/dryer were all an added bonus!

Long Beach wedding

We arrived, and we were greeted in the driveway by the owners. They showed us around. Left us freshly baked cookies, some milk, oj, and some yogurt in the fridge. Everything was clean and organized. If you are above 6'1 you will have some issues walking around the living room space, but the bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom are perfect and you won't have to duck there. There is a private entrance so you can come and go as you please. We were there for a wedding, so we weren't at the location most of the day but it was a great place to lay your head and very comfortable. It felt like home. The hosts are amazing and if I had to rent again I definitely would.

Great place

We had a great time and so close to the beach a short 2 Block walk This place was clean and well-kept Bruce the owner met us upon check-in showed us a round and also left some stuff for us in the fridge to get us started along with homemade cookies from his wife. Unit had plenty of towels, also had beach chairs and beach towels but we just used our own Conveniently located to the main street which has more restaurants than you could imagine overall it was a great trip and hopefully me and my daughters will be back again

Perfect spot on Long Beach

This place was great! Very close to the beach and boardwalk as well as restaurants and Park Ave and the train station. It was a short drive to the west end too if we wanted to go see live music. Nice hosts. It was clean and comfortable and didn't smell. Air conditioning worked and there's a really cute area to sit out at night and chat. We liked having beach passes and a couple of chairs to bring. Highly recommend! (One exception - if you are 6ft or taller... the ceiling in the common area was only about 6ft high. I was skimming the ceiling in there. Only that one area. The rest of the place wasn't like that. )

Great location

Wonderful! Host graciously showed us aeound the place and there were many nice extra touchessupplied yo make you feel at home. The location was perfect- central and wirhin walking distance to many great restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the peace and comfort of the roomy unit and sitting in the back garden.

Noisy and a sleep deprivation

Upon arrival owner informed us that construction has been going on for past two weeks and the crew woke us up every morning. Also banging pipes throughout the night. Absolutely not what we expected. A holiday nightmare which could easily have been avoided if only owners considered our peace and quiet !!!

Excellent in every way

The apartment was perfect for our family of four, my boys each had their own bed/bedroom. The place was clean with plenty of towels and Bruce supplied the soap, shampoo/conditioner as well as coffee, milk, OJ and yogurts. The location was excellent, one block from the boardwalk and walking distance to supermarket and restaurants. Perfect place to stay.

Above and Beyond

The property was as I expected and the owners went above and beyond to create a relaxing and welcoming environment. I truly appreciated the MANY extras that awaited our stay especially since we arrived late. Being able to walk to the beach was the icing on the cake. While we did not have time to take advantage of the backyard sitting area, I found myself looking at it longingly and would encourage any visitors to enjoy the beautiful space. Three things that did not bother me, but anyone renting should be aware of. The crickets were loud. (I am used to them, but I think it was only one that felt it necessary to make its presence known.) People over 6'3" might hit their heads every now and then. My husband did. Finally, if you do not run the fans/air, you could have a musty smell. It reminded me of my childhood home it smelled so much like our downstairs that I became quite nostalgic!
