Contente is a spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bath Russian River vacation rental. This comfortable vacation home features a 3 bedroom main house, a separate master bedroom suite and a recreation room with a pool table and ping pong table, as well as a patio and a spa.

The main living space has an open floor plan with high ceilings, bamboo floors, an elegant dining room, comfortable couches and a large plasma TV. The fully equipped kitchen comes complete with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Off of the dining room and 3 of the bedrooms are glass doors leading to a large, long deck that faces the river. This deck offers outdoor dining and a gas grill. All 3 bedrooms have Queen beds. The separate suite has a living room, full kitchen, private bath and master bedroom. The suite's bedroom faces the river and features a King bed and glass doors that lead to the deck.

The garage (accessed by exterior stairs) offers a recreation room complete with pool tables and a ping pong table, and a laundry room. The back patio is landscaped and has a spa. Enjoy direct access to the Russian River. Just walk through the gate and down the custom rock stairway, across a half an acre lawn area to a path leading down to a large beach. A boat is included (available mid-June through mid-September only) for scenic rides along the river. Contente shares this beautiful three-acre property with Culture Blend.

Contente is located east of downtown Guerneville, in the heart of the Russian River Valley. This vacation rental is walking distance to two local breweries and a restaurant. It is also just a mile from Korbel winery and many other Russian River Valley wineries.

Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Contente is 14. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.

Parking: On-site parking is permitted for a maximum of 4 vehicles. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Main House: First bedroom: Queen bed; Second bedroom: Queen bed; Third bedroom: Queen bed; Main living room: 2 Queen sofa beds.
Suite: Suite bedroom: King bed; Suite living room: Queen sofa bed

Heat Source: Central heat.

Rec/Game Room: The game room is an uninsulated space without central heating. There is a portable electric heater in the game room.

A/C: The house does not have air conditioning. Being near the coast, the night time temps drop and just opening some windows is usually enough to cool the house.

Docks & Boats: Docks and beaches are seasonal only and available from mid-June to mid-September providing the summer dams are in. Canoes, kayaks, paddleboats and rowboats that are provided in some of our homes are also available from mid-June to mid-September only. The river is usually too swift for boating in the winter and many docks and beaches are under water until late spring.

Summer Rotation Day: Monday
During the Peak Season, which runs end of June through August, Contente has a 7 night minimum and rents on a Monday to Monday pattern. If you make an online reservaton outside of this rotation day requirement, we may contact you about altering your dates.

Location: Contente is located approximately 1.5 miles east of downtown Guerneville on River Road, a busy two-lane road that connects Guerneville to Highway 101. Due to double wall construction, there is very little road noise inside the home, as well as on the back deck and lower lawn area.The driveway and front staircase face the road. All outdoor living areas are shielded from the road by the home, natural surroundings and a 10-foot high privacy fence (at the front of the property only). The neighborhood is a mix of residential and commercial. Neighbors include full-time residents, a local pub, a deli, a self-serve carwash and a gas station/mini mart. Be aware that though there is a visual privacy, the carwash can be heard when in use and noise from the pub may be heard. We have had very few mentions from guests about either of these establishements. Please contact our office if you have any questions about the proximity of the road or any other questions about the property. Members of our staff have stayed at this home, and loved it!

Walk To: There are 2 bars, a restaurant and community pool within walking distance. (Stumptown Brewery and Tavern McHugh's are two doors down; the Rio Nido Roadhouse is less than a 10 minute walk. Both Stumptown and the Rio Nido Roadhouse have live music on a regular basis. The restaurant Tavern McHugh's is next to Stumptown.) Great Wine Country location! Korbel winery and vineyards are only 0.2 miles east. The walk to downtown Guerneville is over 1.5 miles but completely flat.

Shared Three Acre Property: Contente shares the lawn and river access with Culture Blend, a similar 4 bedroom, 4 bath home that also sleeps 14 guests. Together, the homes make up the property known as The Enchanted Forest Estate.

Please note that there is an annual event, the Russian River Beer Revival, that happens the third weekend in August. This is a weekend event at the brewery three doors down from Contente. The event has live music, a BBQ cook-off, and a lot of people drinking beer. It will be loud on the Friday and Saturday of the event.
