Fabulous location with a wonderful view. Enjoyed access to the nearby pool and hot tub. Great walking and bike trails right outside our back door. Very comfortable. Inside gated community with a garage/garage door opener.

Great Get Away!

Me, my wife, and our dog were able to spend about two months here. The unit was very clean with a well stocked kitchen as well as bath and bed linens. We both worked, so having a strong and dependable WiFi connection was great too. The large TV’s in the living room and bedroom were great for watching movies and March Madness. The patio was perfect for our dog and the scenery was beautiful. The hosts were very accommodating and responded quickly to all questions. The neighbors and community were very welcoming and we enjoyed walking the paths, and swimming in the pool. We wished we could have stayed longer. This unit has one of the best views of all the units.

Comfortable, walkable, & quiet

Spent 7 day while working in the area. House is clean, comfortable & well laid out for conversations and meals. Solid wifi service. Host was very responsive via the VRBO message system. House backs up on one of the foot paths around the National Golf Course and was very walkable in the mornings. Though, learned quickly golfers are tetchy about walkers sticking to the paths -- minor challenge when trying to spot the various birds visiting the water hazards. Plenty of extra linens & decently equipped kitchen. Current check-out policy requires washing all linens, so need to plan check-out day with enough time to strip beds, wash and get stuff in the dryer (all in-house); minor detail for a nice place. Great spot to watch the AZ sunrise with coffee, if you're a morning person.

Roger and I have been the proud owners of a wonderful property in the beautiful Oro Valley of Tucson for over a decade now. We absolutely love the area and have cherished the time we've spent there. In fact, our other property, listing #563011 (feel free to check it out!), is a cozy two-bedroom that we've been renting out to guests. But as our family has grown over the years and we now have 4 delightful grandchildren, we decided it was time to upgrade to a larger, three-bedroom property.

The best part is that our new place is just a stone's throw away from the two-bedroom - it's only 5 houses down the same street! Given that my husband and I still work and can't be in Tucson as often as we'd like, we're thrilled to be able to continue offering our properties for others to enjoy. We've met so many wonderful people through hosting over the years, and it truly brings us joy to share our little slice of paradise with them.

Why they chose this property

We absolutely love the La Morada development! From the moment we first set foot in this vibrant community, we knew it was the perfect place for us. The neighborhood is so wonderfully well-cared for, with lush landscaping and a real sense of pride among the residents. And the neighbors are just the loveliest group of people - a wonderful mix of full-time residents and "snowbirds" like ourselves. We've met so many delightful folks over the years and have cherished the friendships we've made.

One of the best things about living in La Morada is how easily we can indulge in our favorite pastimes. The community is just minutes away from fantastic golf courses, miles of picturesque bike trails, and breathtaking hiking spots. And when we're not out and about, we love nothing more than simply relaxing at home and taking in the absolutely stunning views. The vibrant pink sunsets over the mountains never fail to take our breath away.

Everything we need is right here in close proximity - from shops to restaurants and all the comforts of home. It's the perfect blend of community, convenience, and natural beauty. We feel so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful development, and we can't wait to continue creating magical memories here for years to come.

What makes this property unique

Our property is right next to the path that goes out to the wash adjacent to the Tucson National Golf Course and is a stone throws away from the 170+ miles of bike paths that take you all over Tucson. It has an enormous backyard and garden with an in-ground sprinkler system to irrigate the local flora and fauna that are growing. Sprinkled with southwestern art throughout the property, it is truly a lovely and unique spot.
